Make that 18, I mean 19 lies since he opened the debate saying he suspended his campaign (not really) in order to go immediately to Washington (well, not for almost 48 hours, and only then to his office) so he could push this rescue bill through since it wasn't the type of work he could phone in (except the bill was already written, and he did just phone stuff in from his office.) Wait, is that only 19?
As for #10, I still say the most priceless line of the night was when McCain ridiculed Obama "Nuclear power. Sen. Obama says that it has to be safe or disposable or something like that. Look, I -- I was on Navy ships that had nuclear power plants. Nuclear power is safe,"
Right, this from the guy who's had five distinct episodes of melanoma and received surgical treatment, chemotherapy, and radiation?
I seriously spit eggnog all over when he said that, I laughed so hard. Having worked tele / med surg, I know how freaked out we nurses get about being around simple radiation for too long. That one statement by McCain could explain so very much, erratic behavior, mood swings, confusion, bizarre history of multiple episodes of lethal cancer... You just don't spout things like that if you really want to be elected!
