    The Ballad of Brave Obama

    o/~ Bravely bold Obama,
    rode forth to Washington;
    He was not afraid of change,
    O brave Obama!

    He was not at all afraid
    to take on the lobbyists,
    Brave, brave, brave, brave Obama!

    He was not in the least bit scared
    to be grilled by Tim Russert,
    Or to have his past dug up and his taxes public;
    To have his words all parsed, and his fam'ly there each day
    And his faults all dragged up daily, brave Obama!

    His plans writ out and the votes brought in
    And his children around and his smiles abound
    And his challenge now is Republican John...

    (At this point, humble Obama interrupts us, his faithful minstrels. The rest of the song is mostly lost, but I suggest this verse, faithful in concept to the original fragments from the Codex Pythonias.)

    Would Hill-a-ry run away,
    Would she run away, away!
    When Obama seemed to be ahead,
    She turned not her tail and fled.

    Yes Hill-a-ry should turn about
    And gallantly say that she's out.
    Bravely taking to her feet
    And beat a very brave retreat,
    Bravest of the brave, Hill-a-ry!

    (so that then we might sing...)

    She is packing it in and packing it up
    And going away and whining about
    And every one knows she is pissing off home,
    Yes, lastly she is throwing in the sponge...

    "Rachelle" Limbaugh, please return to your cage, it's feeding time. Your 'sore winner' snit describes neocons (and I believe, you) more accurately than anything to do with Hillary and her supporters. Most Obama supporters are actually happy, not outraged, that he's winning as predicted. It is not necessary to 'help' Obama by destroying Hillary. She's doing a bang-up job of continuing to dismantle her own campaign's appeal—in her own way, in her own timing.

    Hillary supporters are welcome any time they choose to join in the satisfying work of winning this election for Obama (the nominee for their party, by all but the most deluded calculations) and beginning to identify and clean up the assaults on democracy, law, sanity and the U.S. constitution that McCain endorses and promises to keep alive for another term.

    Think about it. The Clintons have never been that brave when opposing the Republicans. In fact, as I recall, they always ran scared, kowtowed and kissed Republican behinds. On the other hand, consider how they treated their own constituents, gays, Blacks, poor, women, children, etc. They've always been very happy, very willing to throw them under the wheels of the bus.

    We all know how dishonest, conniving, corrupt, and racist Billary has been. It begs the question of what type of person would support such an evil and immoral candidate. In my opinion, the slime known as Hillbots have no business being in the Democratic Party. Now that Shillary and Slick Willie are finally about to concede the nomination, their supporters need to reflect long and hard why they embraced such a slimy candidate. These type of people have no business joining the Obama campaign. We are all about unity and conciliation with the Republicans, not the politics of personal destruction that the Clintonistas are known for. Hillbots can go straight to Hell.

    Rachelle, and this is helpful how exactly?

    This is wonderful news! I am heading out to go camping for a week in the wilds of Yosemite park in a few hours. No electricity, no internet, no news. I'll be able to completely relax and re-center myself between the natural beauty and the hiking I'll be doing. It's nice to know before leaving that even the MSM admits Obama will be the nominee. Took them a few months but they finally came around. That's it for now, adios.

    OT

    JimOlson,

    Rachelle has no intention of being helpful. S/he is part of a Florida cabal flooding progressive blogs with excessive Clinton nastiness and also writing that Obama supporters, should Clinton get the nom, will vote for McCain. They are neither Democrats nor Obama supports. They think they are creating "chaos" as part of an "operation," which is laughable since they aren't very troll-skilled and are easily spotted.
