AMERICAblog: 69% of Democrats think Obama will be the nominee. He rates higher than McCain and Clinton on "shares values of Americans"

  • theWalrus · 1 year ago
If 66% *really* share the values of McCain we're up shit's creek without a paddle - no matter who wins.
  • bunnyjump · 1 year ago
Agree. Don't dismiss McCain because of the total dissatisfaction with the repug party. I can't forget the presidential race of 2004. Everyone, even the media was broadsided by the Bush win. The Dems can't assume an easy win.
Contribute, volunteer your time to get local and national Dems in office. IMO this is the most important presidential race in our lifetime.

"The Dems can't assume an easy win."

    Sure they can.

Does McCain have cancer? Will his vice president end up running the United States? Are we really voting for McCain’s vice during this next election? McCain has a lot of questions to answer. Will McCain commit fraud and submit false health records?
Will voters see the danger in not knowing the true state of McCain’s health?

I'd say Obama will get close to 70% of the vote come November.

He's already breaking the law with campagin finance.

Clouding the issue with facts, again.
  • Mike_H · 1 year ago
Remember that a lot of the media coverage of McCain has been quite benign, so "most Americans" still think of him as a war hero and moderate Republican who bucks his own party and can work across party lines.

    SO what?

    I'll second that sentiment.
Let it be known that henceforth, all Republican Congressmen shall be named "Two-Bit Republican Congressmen"

And even that makes them worth a quarter more than they actually are.

Obama shares not only my families values but our hopes as well.

I can safely say from all behavior exhibited and tactics used that Hillary does not.

I wish I could see a poll with only one question; who will you vote for in November?

"this is all Bill Richardson's fault"-James Carville
  • dorothy59 · 1 year ago
Correct. If only he would choose loyalty to Hillary over loyatly to the country we would all be A OK.

Why are the stars on the Democrat donkey upside down in the CBS graphic? Only the Republican elephant has upside down stars.

Yet, what was the NYT headline? "Obama's Support Softens in Poll". Liberal media, indeed.

I think the two expressions you are referring to are:

Figures don't lie, but liars figure.

    and

Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.

Wow, pretty amazing numbers. But it's neck and neck according to the MSM.

Interesting article about Mark Penn, Columbia, the Clinton campaign, and the staggering conflict of interest.

if the media reported things correctly, then that "will obama be the nominee" number would be much much higher.

    21%

    what did Bush get?
  • An Outhouse · 1 year ago
Wait. Hitlery's advisor is a paid lobbyist for the Colombian government while Hillary claims to oppose a free trade agreement with Columbia. I thought that was America's value $$$$. Greed! Ronny Raygun told me so. Only Hillary shares America's value for maximizing stock holders returns at the expense of everything else.

Why does 70% of America hate America?!

Hey John - just curious about what you think about your beloved Obama not showing support for gays:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/05/scathi...

Looks like the candidate you've spent the past 1+ year pushing for can't even show open support for gays. This is the "change we can believe in" ? Sounds to me like this is just him playing politics just like you always accuse Clinton of doing.
  • kylewyss · 1 year ago
Obama HAS publicly declared support for gays. That particular newspaper is owned by a Clinton supporter who deliberately kept Obama out of the article specifically to create that piece of propaganda. The owner has donated $1000 to Clinton's campaign.

Obama has publicly championed gay rights in a black southern church. The room got quiet, but Obama didnt back down, he spoke up.

Obama is who he is to everyone, all the time. Hillary is a chameleon and a deceitful propagandist.

I think Richardson knows exactly what he's doing. The man is not stupid. He also happens to know the Clinton's inside and out.

Obama needs to get rid of a specific jerk he has as an advisor; John Brennan. See the following links:

    http://thinkprogress.org/2008/03/07/obama-brennan/

    http://thinkprogress.org/2008/03/23/obama-advis...

Both circumstances are entirely too reminiscent of the current Chimp administration.
Call/Write Obama and tell him to dump CIA hack JOhn Brennan.
