Of course, McCain wants these policies to continue! The 30% who approve of Bush/GOP economics are the people still making all the money! Play to your base and eff everyone else!

The fucking pope (Pope Maledict, as Frank Kameny calls him) arrives in DC this afternoon with his anti-gay message for Christendom and the media is absolutely DROOLING over him 100%. Even fucking National Public Radio is drooling over Pope Maledict. Have none of these media morons EVER considered the devastation caused in the lives of good people by the lies and hatred spewed by this so-called pope?

Just in the last week....my gut has begun to realize that that the $600 check will be used even more so for paying off debt and NOT people spending on "stuff"
Just that headline yesterday on CNN: : 60% will not buy a home in the next 2 years"
Ouch. That's a gut check if there ever was one.
It's not like that 25% is going to be gung ho and spend EVEN MORE MONEY. They are going to hold back too ( but lie to pollsters just to make Bush look better)

SEE WHAT IS WAITING FOR HILARY IF SHE STEALS THE NOMINATION FROM OBAMA
McCain and the GOP are hoping that painting Obama as that "black muslim-loving America-hating elite Democrat" and Hillary as a "shrill conniving power-hungry Communist", that the American people will once again ignore their economic self-interest and vote for McCain.
Throw in a few panics about gays, guns, and God, a war with Iran, and/or another terrorist scare, and of course the GOP ownership of all mainstream media, and there you have the Republican plan for winning again in November.

Mike_H The muslim thing didn't work about Obama....Funny how that stopped so quickly.
And now today I saw Bryant Gumble on THE TODAY SHOW talking about his newpiece to be aired on HBO about Obama playing basketball. He played basketball in high school and I think college and Obama even plays now.
Once we see more and more footage of Obama playing basketball...it's going to be harder for the GOP to call him ant-american...
What?.....is the GOP going to show McCain's athletism by playing bocce ball?

Obama is a US senator running for president. Nothing against you HereinDC, but for crying out loud, how un-American can he be?

HereinDC -- hasn't worked YET -- don't think for a moment that the GOP has completely given up on that tactic. There is nothing too low or too desperate that they won't try.
Hey, I'm not suggesting these tactics are good, useful, or fair. And I certainly don't agree with them. But this is what they will do, especially if the polls show them behind or even tied.
People complain (with some truth) about the tactics Hillary has used, but they are fluffy little bunnies compared to the tactics the GOP will pull out when the contest really takes off.

Considering the rest of the world is pissed at the US financial mess though it's kept relatively quiet in the MSM, The American people never did really know just how bad they were screwed when the US was declared bankruptcy in 1933 and through various acts of legislation became the corporate US not the Constitutional US any longer. If your interested in some of theses facts you can check them out at www.fourwinds10.com. Believe it or not, the lein holders on our debt are the Queen of England, the Vatican and others. this nonsense goes all the way back to the bankers manifesto of 1892 and was nailed down in 1913 when the Federal Reserve was created. After the reading the information at Four winds check out the Casper updates to learn what Fitzgerald has been up to playing both sides of the fence. If the American people began to learn the truth, they would probably burn down D.C.

30% are too stupid or out of touch to even notice the continuing crash of the economy.

Unfortunately, this still doesn't eliminate at least one "wild card" variable in the equation which potentially could still be used in McCain's favor -- electronic voting machines. According to VerifiedVoting.org, although more than half of all states now have voter-verified paper record requirements for electronic voting machines, over 20 states still do not -- and even some of those states which do have them have not yet succeeded in applying them statewide. Even fewer states -- only 13 -- require manual audits of the paper records, and fewer than half of all states require both. I can't speak for anyone else -- but I I for one will feel more confident about our election process when all 50 states have at the very least passed legislation requiring voter-verified paper records.
You know, these tax cuts are only making the economy worse since we all still have to PAY for all the resources we are using... What part of that fact these morons don't get? Roads still needs to be fixed. Hospitals still need their doctors and nurses. Libraries need to be open. Hell, the federal deficit is reaching all time highs in the Monkey King tax cuts. Those bills need to be paid for and these numbers are going to be bad for us and everyone for decades under gop "logic".
WHO the hell is going to pay for all of this and how are they going to be paid for? Has the gop ever thought of that? Obviously not since they think they can continue to borrow from China or something. You can not keep cutting taxes and putting off paying off the principle of the amounts borrowed. Think the housing and credit crunch right now.
Less regulation? Hey Old and senile McCain? Remember The Keating Five? That was brought about because of your less regulation way of thinking.

McCain has demonstrated he's just a one-trick pony. He wants to make the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy permanent. He wants to suspend the federal gas tax during the peak driving season because "it will put money in peoples pockets every time they fill up." Talk about the tooth fairy. The longer Clinton and Obama go at it, the more time McCain has to polish his image as a world leader. The Democrats better get this resolved quick otherwise McCain will have an insurmountable lead and we'll have four more years of Bush. More economic disaster. More war in Iraq. More tax cuts for the wealthy. More program cuts for those that need them the most. To make matters worse, McCain is already talking about a second term. Anyone up for seceding from the Union?

Look who is the economic advisor to John McCain......Hassett from the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) the Zio-Con shadow government body who brought us the Iraq war...........what is humorous if there is anything humorous is that the AEI now pretends that they hardly know G.W. Bush because their policies have been a disaster and a total failure.....if you Google the American Enterprise Institute and look to see who is involved with them, you will see a roster that has held power in this country from the beginning of the Bush era, most have either been in his cabinet or have been directing policy at the Pentagon. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/commentary/hasset...
