i'm still reeling from the cheney interview. suddenly he is saying we should have gone to war even without the nuclear threat. then why did they not make that case in 2003? why did they manufacture the biggest government lie in our history? cheney is admitting they lied because there was no credible case for war outside their bubble.

How about Naked Self-Interest? Halliburton and other friends in high places? What better way to rob the Treasury and the people of the US in their selfish quest for capital and profit? He who has the riches rules the world...

You can add most of the democrats to the list of enablers, too.

uh, if it's a waste, why isn't Obama still advocating an immediate withdrawal? Obviously we're benefitting somehow.

Republicans and Democrats are merely the right and left wings of the only true American party - the Capitalist Party. With this understanding, all else makes sense.

Revision: Republicans and Democrats are merely the right and left wings of one party - the Capitalist Party. With this understanding, all else makes sense. Sad to say, we're a one-party system here in the good ole US of A.

And we don't have money to fix social security. Remember, Bush says we have to be fiscally responsible. By that he means that we are being unreasonable in thinking that we will get as much money in social security payments when we retire as we planned on getting. He tried his best to cut benefits, but fortunately that was another Bush failure.

4,209 American soldiers murdered by these bastards. 1.3 million innocent Iraqi civilians murdered so Bush could jump up and down and scream "Wolf!" 120,000 more American soldiers committed suicide from the trauma of this war. 4 million Iraqi's displaced and refugees.

Oh, but dozens of fat cats got even fatter on Wall Street. And of course, Bush got his jollies seeing so many people suffer and die on his word. Bush's disappointment though is he didn't get to use his big, big, big firecracker on the the filthy, heathen infidel darkies. That would have been as much fun as sticking firecrackers up the rear of frogs and blowing them up.

"...and the Republicans enabled him every step of the way." As well as Democrats like Hillary Clinton who voted for the invasion. Bush couldn't have done it without the assistance of Democrats also.

Le's not forget that the Democraps, almost every last one of them in Congress, have enabled Boosh every step of the way, on the war and on anti-Constitutional measures. Both parties have been grossly irresponsible, spineless and corrupt. It should be apparent to anyone that we need a popularly imposed overall of the whole political and governmental system, not merely a change of party. You got change in the Congress in 2006 and what good did it do? You got O'bama elected and all he has done is to appoint conservative Dems and a Repube to his cabinet. Same old same old. A figurative pair of shoes to all of them.

We should tax everyone who voted for Bush, so they can pay for their disaster instead of those of us who could see what an idiot Bush is.

"Republicans enabled him every step of the way" - As did the Democrats, please don't forget that. The fact that they did it to is much worse than the fact that the Republicans did it. Please don't leave this kind of stuff out of your posts, it is too important.

Lets not forget that the spineless democrats did a lot to help the war also. They could not stand on principle. They have none!!!!!!!!!! Once again; I have never seen a bunch of democrats more coward than this bunch.

Boy, I'm so proud of the Democrats that they bravely stood up against this war again and again. They saw, like so many of us, that it was illegal and immoral from the start. Because of their courageous stand, the war belongs only and completely to the Republicans.
    Oh, wait...
