Well, I won't be able to make any online contributions to anyone soon. My bank was sold to another, larger bank, who sent me notice today that they would start charging fees on my formerly free account. Even a $3 charge for my SS direct deposit. I can use those charges to get a couple of gallons of gas, for chrissakes.
So, I'm closing my account and getting off the bank grid. From now on, they can mail my check as well as my bills. I can get MOs for 40 cents at the local convenience store. Screw banks who nickel and dime you to death.
