AMERICAblog: ABC: Bill Clinton told 4 lies in only 23 words about Hillary

  • sittenpretty · 1 year ago
truly amazing the arrogance and stupidity,to think nobody has video,or Youtube,to fact check
  • PeteWa · 1 year ago
Each time Bill speaks I get the feeling that he is actually trying to undermine Hillary's desire to live in the White House again.
Either that, or Bill is the smartest moron in America.

How come no one is mentioning John McCain's jab at the Democratic party last night on American Idol Gives Back. Both Obama and Clinton stuck to the purpose of the charity but this was one of McCain's lines during his recorded message

"Idol is like the political primaries, except that on the TV show, votes from Michigan and Florida actually matter."

I dunno I found that rather tactless during a charity message.

Y'know I've always thought the Big Dog was a pretty good president. After the past few months, I'm beginning to think that feeling was due to lowered expectations.
  • Cindy411 · 1 year ago
MSNBC just did a big segment on this. I've called my local affiliate and we've got to get them to keep this story alive. Clinton thought he could get away with perjury back in the 90's and now it's happening all over again. Hillary's lie about sniper fire in Bosnia was a slap in the face to our brave and courageous young men and women in uniform. How dare the Clinton slime machine try to get away with blatant dishonesty and corruption.

Guess she gets a little delusional at 3AM if she doesn't get her sleep.
  • Tom3 · 1 year ago
After eight years of Poopy Pants and four years of Poppy, our expectations were pretty low. And Bill filled those perfectly, giving us a sex scandal that nearly brought him down.

Are we a nation or morons or what? I think we are doomed.

As those in the media start to expose lie after lie coming from the Clintons, it brings up a very good question: what type of person supports a serial liar? What sort of person defends photo-shopping Obama's skin color and nose size in a negative ad? What sort of person supports a woman who makes excuses for her adulterous, philandering husband who then goes on to guest-host the Rush Limbaugh program? Do we really want people with those values in the Democratic Party?
  • Tom3 · 1 year ago
Do we really want people with those values in the Democratic Party? No, but we can't seem to make them change their ways or just leave like Loserman did.

The Hillbots in here are ethically challenged too. That's why they see nothing wrong with what Hillary and Bill and that asshole Penn are doing.

Looks like the Pope is snubbing Chimpy at his state dinner tonight. Il Papa is not happy with the Chimp and won't break bread with him.

Now I'm -26. Cut that out!!

I wouldn't worry about it. Some say negative points are a badge of honor. Others say they don't matter. Some say both. Who knows? Who cares?

    The Clintons: psychopathic liars.

Meanwhile, I'll post what I did this am, in light of the Dow losing over 250 pts on news that the Great Warmonger GE's first quarter was not so great...

Credit market woes hitting US corporations...it's not just about housing anymore.

    We are so fucked.

Sweet. DrudgeReport.com has four stories at the top center about Hill and Bill's new lies. The press is starting to pick up on this stuff. I've set up links on my own blog and hopefully we can get this stuff to continue for another news cycle. Lieing about live sniper fire in a combat zone is a slap in the face to real soldiers who have to face life and death every day. I am so sick of the Clinton lie machine.
  • Bill T. · 1 year ago
Speaking of lies, CNN's Wolf Blitzer is reporting that Obama is breaking his word about campaign financing without once mentioning McCain's campaign finance violations. CNNis getting as bad as FAUX NEWS.

    Party like it's 1929...

    Don't worry, I won't hurt U
I only want U 2 lose your house

I was dreamin' when I wrote this, forgive me if it goes astray
But when I woke up this mornin', could've sworn it was Judgment Day
The economy's in recession, banks gettin' bailout-cash everywhere
Tryin' 2 run from this election, U know I didn't even care

Cuz they say 2000 zero eight party over, oops, out of time!
    So 2night I'm gonna party like it's 1929!

I was in foreclosure when I wrote this, so sue me if my payments lapse
But life is just a party and being drunk you know it doesn't last
War is all around us, my mind says prepare 2 fight
So if I gotta die, I'm gonna listen 2 my body 2night

Yeah, they say 2000 zero eight party over, oops, out of time!
So 2night I'm gonna party like it's 1929! (Yeah, yeah)

People, let me pour U somethin'
If U didn't come 2 party, don't bother knockin' on my door
I got no cash in my pocket and, baby, bill collectors startin' 2 roar (Yeah)
Everybody's got a debt, China's givin us money every day (Oh)
But before I get depressed, I'll have an Absolute Peach and Cran... okay?

Oh, they say 2000 zero eight party over, oops, out of time!
    (We're runnin' out of time)
So 2night I'm gonna party like it's 1929! (We gonna, we gonna, oh!)

    Say it one more time
2000 zero eight party over, oops, out of time! (No, no)
    So 2night I'm gonna party like it's 1929! (We're gonna, we gonna)

If he keeps this up it will be a contest to see whose leaving, (the Clintons or bush) will be cheered the loudest.

I think the following quotes from former president Clinton are also ironic:

"I got tickled the other day, a lot of the way this whole campaign has been covered has amused me, but there was a lot of fulminating because Hillary, one time late at night when she was exhausted, misstated and immediately apologized for it, what happened to her in Bosnia in 1995. Did y'all see all that? Oh, they blew it up," the former president said at a campaign event in Boonville, Indiana, Thursday afternoon.

"You would have thought, you know, that she'd robbed a bank the way they carried on about this," he added. "And some of them when they're 60 they'll forget something when they're tired at 11 at night, too."

So now who do you want to answer the phone at 3:00 AM?
  • TomJoad · 1 year ago
You know...an old fashioned word, that I knew from school, but that seemed really anachronistic...hubris. I think I know what it means now.

I think what amazes me, and people like me, the hubris....we keep thinking some of these guys are smart (they ARE, Either Clinton is probably ten times smarter than me...so what? Smart isn't everything) but they really have been breathing all that rarified air up there, with angels dancing constantly telling them how wonderful they are, and they fell for it. Clinton is probably dumbfounded that he just wasn't believed. He thinks "ah...I'm so good at this, I can just get up there and wing-it" and he can't. It's the WORST for them after all their bragging about 3 a.m. phonecalls, so EVEN if he wasn't so wrong on so many levels, it was a stupid thing to say as it disproves her abiity to focus when tired, like at 3 a.m., It's a completely stupid measuring stick maybe, but THEY chose it!!!

Same thing with the neocons. Hubris. Not just the swaggernig ignorance of Bush, or the batmans-penguin act of Cheney, but all of them on this human level...Wolfowitz, all of them...with their "turning a corner" and "greeted as liberators" and "it'll only cost..." and "pay for itself", and "would be surprised if it was months"...etc, etc.
ANY normal person would shut the hell up. They would realize they had just bared their ignorance time and time again, and would finally shut the hell up and stop expouding as if THEY have the answers and we all are a bunch of pig farmers (no offense meant to real pig farmers) that know nothing if we don't agree with them, and get proven right within days, or weeks.

Any decent person would think "gee...maybe I don't have all the answers, if the rest of the US thinks I'm wrong, maybe...is it at all possible I AM wrong??...." not them.

And not the Clintons. They want their Camelot damnit. And they've by-god earned it in their eyes. It is their RIGHT.
And Bill is so slick, he can just off-the-cuff it. From descriptions it sounds like he thinks just baring his irritation ought to be enough to get us to back off.
  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
Yes, Tom, HUBRIS. (Same thing as "having an attitude" in the 90s which also meant arrogance.) Never say you're wrong, never really apologize, never admit you might not be the best person for the job, because, damnit, it's your right to shove others around and play the bully game.
  • SJD · 1 year ago
Man! B. Clinton really wants power (even if it's as first husband) again.
  • jmcdonough120 · 1 year ago
    from swimming freestyle:

"I'm no psychologist, but I can't help but wonder if Bill Clinton doesn't have a self destructive streak. A couple weeks after his wife was eviscerated in the press for embellishing her version of a trip to Bosnia, Bill Clinton raised the issue again yesterday and again today."

He's also transforming nicely into the "crotchedy old guy down the street", the new Bob Dole, the guy yelling "Hey you kids, GET off my lawn!".

Just arrogant. This is why NO MATTER WHO IS IN POWER we have to get back to rule of law, oversight, checks and balances, and transparency in government.

    Dare to not be afraid.

I was going to mention the AP story was on the Yahoo! front page earlier today. The entire time I was reading it I was thinking 'this AP writer has been reading Ablog'.

Edit/update: Just checked. It's still there.
