It's sad that it takes something this egregious to get the MSM to finally do their jobs.

    But I'll take it.

Incredible... is that the George Will saying those words?
  • Steve_in_CNJ · 1 year ago
Will has been saying the economy is strong for years now, despite evidence to the contrary. That's become his trademark. He may not like McCain anymore, but it's only a matter of time before he has to surf the same new wave.

It speaks volumes that the best the Repugs can muster is an angry confused old fraud and an arrogant clueless shill. Its all the've got. If the Dems blow this one they need to line up for the Koolaid and end their suffering.

    McCain quote from May 2007

"You are interviewing the greatest free trader you will ever interview, and the greatest deregulator you will ever interview,"

From the WSJ blogs - said at the 5th Annual All Things Digital conference

Hypocrite. He'll say whatever he thinks will get him the votes. He lacks integrity..

I hardly dare to believe it - the corporate media giving us the facts.

Umm, the repeal of Glass-Steagall helped ameliorate the current situation. http://www.marginalrevolution.com/marginalrevol...

Now, aside from that, how does your common sense let you think that a crisis that has been punctuated by the failure of an investment bank, the bailout of another investment bank, and a contingent-liability line-of-credit to an insurance company stem from the deregulation of traditional banks?
