I doubt the campaign would even sue... it'd be obvious they'd overstepped and gotten slammed for it.

John, you know that the mainstream media is not going to call out McCain on his blatant lies, flip-flops and racist tactics. They just aren't going to do it. The MSM is the establishment and they want the establishment candidate, which is McCain. The MSM will continue to let McCain get by with all of this, and will continue to expect Obama to be perfect. That's just the way it is. If Obama wins, it will be in spite of the strong media bias for McCain.

Sadly, the #2 establishment candidate is named Barack Obama. I so wish he wasn't, but that is almost impossible to ignore when Obama goes out of his way to prove that his slogan of "Candidate of Change" is nothing more than an empty slogan. Seems it is more important to reassure the establishment, the wealthy, powerful, elite and most of all the corporations that he doesn't plan to change anything.

It isn't even mid August. Sigh! I hope the Republicans are blowing their wad early, but my gut feeling is that they will be far, far worse the last two weeks of October. I can't imagine how, but then I'm a liberal. The best I can imagine is that they show a flying saucer landing and Obama getting out. Sigh! Comes from a clean mind and clean living. <g>

OT One thing people seem to totally fail to notice is that Georgia was the one who initiated the current war with Russia and their attack was brutal, as brutal as they were capable of mounting. Unfortunately, their military power is puny compared to Russia's and the Georgians were under the delusion that Bush would come to their aid. Now that Russia has responded in kind and Bush has shown himself for the empty gong he is, the Georgians find themselves up the proverbial creek when they paddled there themselves and then threw away their paddle.

The Art of GOP Politics is deception and the world is full of trickery . . . while it is apparently not politically correct to directly address the issue of the pervasiveness of racism in America, it seems perfectly acceptable to promote these deeply engrained views through other forms of mind controlling propaganda. I was appalled by ABC's cartoon, The Replacements, which aired on Saturday morning, August 09, 2008. It was an obvious attempt by racist writers, producers and programmers to propagandize even the children of America with comic depictions of Blacks as monkeys and apes. However clever, it was clear to me that the moral of the story applies to the 2008 presidential race: Don't affect change by replacing the white zookeeper. Find a better way to contain the animals; while exploiting the monkeys as free labor. Attitudes in America haven't improved, they've just become more covert.
