So now that Obama has gotten through the primaries, he says "marriage is between a man and a woman"

    http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Gay_media_mogul_w...

You sure can pick'em John and company. You actually ditch the woman who openly stated her support for recognizing gay marriage benefits, for the one that's now openly opposed to it. I hope all of you hysterical Hillary haters are happy. Because she has done exactly what we said she would do and stepped aside graciously. Meanwhile Obama has turned into the Manchurian candidate with his FISA vote, his call for restricting some abortion rights, and now this anti-gay marriage stance! You people are fools! I hope you're happy!
  • ShirleyGoodnessanMercy · 1 year ago
I'm quite certain that Hillary and Obama hold identical positions on the subject of legal recognition of gay marriages. Neither has ever supported full legal recognition; both have always endorsed civil unions instead. Of the Democratic candidates this year, only Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel, and I think maybe Chris Dodd supported full legal recognition of gay marriages. (PS - the article you linked us to even states that Hillary never endorsed legal recognition of gay marriages either).
  • Steve_in_CNJ · 1 year ago
if you want to take a contrarian view, you shouldn't link to an article that makes you look ridiculous.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
hey PUMA.... Obama never changed his stance on gay marriage.

he has ALWAYS said that he believes marriage is between a woman and a man, BUT that it should be left up to the states.

he also SUPPORTED the court's decision to legalize gay marriage in California.

where the fuck do you get your info??
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
one other thing... you never answered the questions put to you last night.

Hillary's speech was all about unity, and you IMMEDIATELY posted on how nasty we 'Obama supporters' were.

even after I posted that I pictured Hillary as the next Sec. of State.

one post, no responses... you just disappeared until now.

which makes you a troll or a plant... not a Democrat... and I'd suspect, not a Hillary supporter either.

you're just stirring up shit... does mcsame pay well?
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
I forgot did Hillary say in her speech that Obama is ready to be commander-in-chief? Or did she say anything about that at all?
  • hawkseye · 1 year ago
Not that I recall, but maybe Bill will tonight.
I thought her speech was very good except for that.
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
Hillary needed to say that Obama would be a better commander-in-chief than McCain after what she said during the primaries. That and the fact she did not mention reproductive rights leaves me at a loss as to why people thought she gave a good speech. I don't think she helped Obama more than she helped her chances in '12, and that was probably her goal.
  • scottinsf · 1 year ago
    There you are.

I don't disagree with many of the arguments you've brought up. Her speech was far from perfect and certainly wasn't the highlight of my favorite speeches so far. She DID throw her support behind Obama (the best that Hillary could) with that speech though. Will you grant her that? Nobody here has magically changed their opinion of Hillary overnight due to her uttering anything....well...no. Seriously. I do think most of us want to move on and attack the REAL enemy. I hope you understand where I'm coming from.

Let's go. We must destroy the repugs.
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
That was certainly not the best she could have done. I wanted her to talk about Woman's reproductive rights being at risk with a McCain presidency; I wanted her to talk about Obama as a fantastic commander-in-chief. Those were two KEY (I can't emphasize this enough) elements missing from her speech. I doubt she convinced her supporters at all to support Obama.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
There have already been accounts that many of her people have decided to support Obama now. Don't ask me why or how ONE speech can make such a change, but it does seem to have worked to some degree.

So let's move on and show the balance of the doubters why Obama is the best choice.
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
She could have done much much much more. She knew she could have, and she didn't. She made the deliberate decision not to talk about Obama as a commander-in-chief or reproductive rights. And we all know why she did that.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
Sure she could have "done more", but what she did do was also far better than anything I expected and it did seem to move many. Let us just hope that it affects more people than we expected and that his poll numbers get a huge bump!

But I want to ask you about your issue with her not addressing reproductive rights. Do you actually think she wouldn't uphold Roe? That is the ONE area that I have had no worries from her, so I'm a bit surprised to hear it from you. What is your worry with this issue?
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
Let me rephrase: She didn't do enough.

She did enough to win her votes in '12, but she didn't do enough to win Obama votes in '08.

You misunderstand me. The one issue her supporters care the most about is reproductive rights, and her supporters would suffer under a McCain administration who would stack the court with pro-life judges. She knew that is the one issue that could sway her supporters and she didn't mention it.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
Ahhh, I see your point. Well, I can tell you from all of the conversations (if you can call them that) that I have had with PUMAs, they ALL have said "Oh don't try to scare us with all of that Roe stuff. No one will overturn Roe".

    Stupid is as stupid does...
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
Maybe if those words passed from the lips of their lord and savior Hillary Clinton they might think differently. Alas, they didn't.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
The Democratic candidate (Obama) is running AGAINST McCain, not Clinton now. We must get the Dem's in power and work against the GOP at this point. To repeat their talking points is to give credence to them.

Please, let us move on from the horrors of the Primary, that chapter of the campaign is now over, thank god.
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
Oh I can move on, but how about her supporters? Don't be so naive as to think they have. Because they haven't.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
I didn't suggest that ALL of her supporters have moved on, but I did manage to say that WE should. Our collective goal should be to get a Dem in office and to do so we need to focus on who is the actual "enemy", so to speak.

Sure there will be some supporters that will vote for McCain (heck see the dolt at the top of the page for a good example) but that doesn't mean that they all will, nor should we continue the rant.

Heck, I was against getting Hillary into office big time as I have been writing to the DNC and every possible source of power for years now. But those times are over (for the time being) and we need to combine our forces to get Obama into office. Let it go and focus.
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
We should combine forces for now, but when the election is over we shouldn't forget what the Clintons have done to hurt Obama's chances, especially if he loses. If Obama loses Hillary will want the Dem nomination in '12. And we shouldn't forget her conduct in '08 if/when that time comes.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
I'm with you on the issue of their horrible attitude and actions that have hurt Obama and it should not be forgotten. I am merely suggesting that we let it go for now and help with the cause of getting Barack into office.

Heck, Bill might even (pleasantly?) surprise us with his speech tonight...

So for the moment, I am fine with redirecting my ire and looking toward the win come November.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
She praised Obama to the rafters last night, she throughly endorsed him in all that she said. So what that she didn't use those exact words, she did say it in other much stronger words.

For goodness sakes, you are repeating today's talking points from the GOP; please don't give them any credence.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
For goodness sakes, Hillary said more than that! She praised Obama in a new and deeply moving way that spoke to all of this Republican HYPE that she didn't mention those specific words.

You are merely giving credence to the Republican's talking points today, you are repeating verbatim all that they have been trying to tear down. Do you actually realize this?
  • hawkseye · 1 year ago
MSM is using the same talking points, still trying to stir up trouble with Hillary diehards.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
They are Republican talking points, no matter who uses them and to repeat them is to give credence to them.
  • hawkseye · 1 year ago
You are correct, of course, but you can't critique them without mentioning them.
  • Fireblazes(cheetohsandcatfood) · 1 year ago
You are just repeating GOP talking points
"It seems to be a very technical speech about being a Democrat, supporting (Obama) as a Democrat, but she never answered the big question (on whether he was ready)," Republican former New York City mayor and unsuccessful presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani told CNN.

  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
Whereas I'm delighted to see "some" in MSM report the actual truth of what's going on in the McCain campaign , I won't hold my breath to expect more of the same. I hate being so cynical, but these days political discourse and the takeover of the American media has fallen to a new low.

Let us hope that we see more of the same from other outlets.
  • JMOHR · 1 year ago
Yes, this is a serious issue. McCain has garnered millions and millions of dollars of free air time by distributing ads that are scurrilous and outright dishonest. We Democrats sit back and waste our campaign funds trying to fight them with daisies and balloons.

We saw a similar pattern in the last two elections. When do we grow up and smell the coffee. It is time to go on the offensive with ads questioning McCain's relationship with lobbyists, his outright lies and pandering as well as his ethics and character.

We will be buried as usual to the typical commentary that this time our superior ethics and our higher form of campaigning will bring us victory.

Grow up little babies. There is a significant difference between character assassination as practiced by McCain and Karl Rove versus a legitimate debate of ethics, ties to special interests and the character to put the country first over pandering to special interest groups.
  • ShirleyGoodnessanMercy · 1 year ago
Amen. I say "No More Mr. Nice Guy." That Mr. Nice Guy shit should have been buried a long time ago - like back in 1980 - when the Republicans started their lying/character assassination ways.
  • hawkseye · 1 year ago
Hate to play the old-age card, but in the fifties, Senator McCarthy used character assassination for opposition control. Before my time, Father Coughlin (sp?) used it on his radio show in the thirties, and of course, Hitler was a master of political falsehood.

    hey john, guys

i love the coverage you are giving -- no sensationalistic fluff and whatnot. i have found that in terms of television coverage, pbs and bbc are doing a non-biased coverage that i appreciate. plus pbs is showing just about all of the activities without having their moronic talking-heads yammering throughout.

i was wondering if you could address something for me, though. gwen ifill (sp??) interviewed michelle obama last night and michelle talked about observing two completely different conversations while on the campaign trail. there was the conversation of doom and gloom and whatever from the pundits, and then there was the one that real americans were having with the obamas. are you getting a sense of that in denver? are the people attending the convention having different conversations than, say, mrs. greenspan et al?

john, as always, thanks for the work you guys do.

Darn! Steal my thunder will you! <g> Too bad the Republicans aren't silent.

Better yet, I would have the Republicans as they were before Nixon and Watergate, when they weren't so disgraced that they had no choice but to disgrace themselves further. I only we still had Republicans of a previous generation when they were real conservatives, instead of crooks bigots, thieves and, yes, murderers. We always did have an extreme right as witnessed by the assassinations of JFK, RFK and MLK, but it wasn't every single Republican as it is now. We need conservatives to keep the left liberals and I don't want to eliminate conservatives. But if only the Republicans were conservatives.

God has sent "Gustav" as an illegal immigrant to show Republicans what he thinks of their "welcoming" attitude and immigration policies.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
Hey there cowboy! Yes, I was actually thinking the same thing this morning. If the Repub's use mother nature to invoke God's disapproval of a political party, than isn't it ironic that Gustav will be hitting the US next week.

Having said that, let's all hope and pray that the storm doesn't hurt the country or its peoples like Katrina. I dread this season as so much of the infrastructure in this country is at an all time low level. It wouldn't take much to put many areas into Disaster territory.
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
Yes, I would MUCH RATHER see "Gustav" die at sea and not strike our country. Unlike Republicans, I don't find any joy watching people suffer. I especially don't try to apply some kind of ridiculous judgment on the victims of natural disasters, like Republicans do with impunity. Its nice it is backfiring on their asses for once!

I couldn't agree with you more. Whereas I was never an advocate for rough and tumble politics, in the current environment we need to address fire with fire. If that means we get dirty doing so than I say we do so. The other side will do anything to stay in power, they don't care if we sit around and tell them they were bad boys and girls...they merely laugh it off.

I say we scare the pants off of them and play hard...
  • justndav32 · 1 year ago
They, Republicans, are trying to scare America again. Unfortunately its probably going to work. They should just put out an ad saying with all this going on in the world can we have a black president, that is their hidden message in my opinion. I still have a very bad feeling about this election. Im not at all confident that this country is ready for a Black president and that is why the polls are so close, makes me utterly sick to say that in America in 2008.
Also yes, the big news story next week will be the Hurricane hitting Lousiana how appropriate. Forecasts only showing a minimal Cat 3, but dont be shocked if this is a monster of a storm ala Camille, Andrew, Katrina. My thoughts are certainly with New Orleans as this could be a devastating blow to those folks.
  • vkobaya · 1 year ago
not at all confident that this country is ready for a Black president and that is why the polls are so close, makes me utterly sick to say that in America in 2008.

Yes, it is sickening. Democrats have been celebrating how good Obama makes us look to the world and how popular Obama is beyond our borders. If Obama loses, we are going to be very sick puppies to the world and as much I was shamed before the world when Bush became president, McCain will be even worse since we had the chance to elect Obama.

Also yes, the big news story next week will be the Hurricane hitting Lousiana how appropriate.

Please don't celebrate a hurricane hitting the country regardliess of how bad it makes the Republican look. Many, many innocent people just as there were many innocents in Iraq. Many would vote for Obama if they could. No one other than the Republicans deserve to suffer for the sins the Republicans have committed ... well, maybe Pelosi and Reid for protecting and kissing up to Bush and his gang of criminals.

    No how, no way, nobama!

I really don't get it. Why are you still being so evil and cruel and unfair to Hillary and her supporters? It's not up to Hillary to convince her supporters to do Obama's bidding. Who is the presumptive here? Who is the candidate? Who is the "leader" that he can't get off his own butt and invite her supporters himself? My god, he had a servant call her and tell her she wasn't going to be picked for Vice President?!!! Why the hell did he even bother with that? Not one modicum of diplomacy, no leadership, not one bit of civility toward Hillary or her supporters, no diplomacy and this is your leader? Just a condescending throw away line by Michelle in her speech to placate us?!!! What for? Why bother. The man got a sweet heart deal, no down and 3 percent below the interest rate you and I have to pay, on a house he "bought" from a convicted felon, and yet has the audacity and gall to point to McCain’s homes. He has not shown one bit of effort to ask for our votes. He has tried to quell us at the convention and tell us we are not allowed to show any Hillary paraphernalia, this is democracy? This is your candidate??!!!! You called ours a "bitch" called us sore losers, said "we don't need your vote" and now you scowl at one of the most brilliant minds and strong persons in politics in 2 centuries, demand her supporters fall in line and yet and yet, you want Hillary to bale Obama out yet again? You people make me sick. I am a yellow dog liberal who has voted straight democratic for 40 years and I will vote now for McCain. Because I know, that Obama is inexperienced, greedy, ambitious to a fault and ruthless. I'm not fooled when I see him stab his pointed finger in the air, bark his speeches, and then pound the podium while demanding we vote for him and insist he's already won. “Si se puede?” Oh yeah, he stole that from Cezar Chavez. He stole Hillary's ideas from her speeches to make his one speech which he reads over and over. And now, he's stealing McCain's ideas as his own. He voted "present' 100 times when crucial decisions needed to be made. He didn't put Hillary on the VP list when she had 18 million votes! he can't even unite his own party without Hillary. We need a Madam President, not a mr. present. I'm voting for McCain because McCain deserves my vote. Obama does not. And yes, I am a statistic, a man, a gay man, a liberal, who, like 4.5 million other Hillary supporters, will vote for McCain. Hope you're happy, you and your candidate failed to unite this party. It's prophetic isn't it? Divided We Fail(ed). And it's Obama's fault, not Hillary's. He's the presumptive, he's the candidate, he's the "leader". And if she does run again we won’t need your votes, we will win without your votes. Hillary got the popular vote, not Obama. He paid upwards of 100,000 dollars per delegate, to buy super delegates. He got it the same way Bush got it, he was "selected". That's how you want your leader? Just like Bush? This election is now Obama’s to lose so don’t blame Hillary, he’s not the right stuff. And yes, your Obama is going to lose. The Buck stops at Barack. What candidate alienates 18 million voters by mistreating their candidate? What fool does that?! What arrogant fool refuses to make the effort to show leadership and ask her voters for their votes?! He has her do it for him. Well, we're not going to vote for someone who acts that childish. He can't be any better than McCain. I'll vote for McCain, he works well with Hillary, Kennedy and Biden! To hell with Barack the little boy! He's supposed to be the great unifier?!! Come on with the lies; strength? integrity? Give me a flippin break! PUMA! Will Barack acknowlege his failings when he loses the election?!!! Don't hold your breath! Obama is always too little too late. We are still waiting for him to ask for our votes himself????!!! too late. McCain 2008.

You're the liar. I have to laugh at Obama's "fight the smears and spread the
truth" to say that Hillary was "old guard" and not an instrument of change
    is a damn lie.
4 years from now Hillary will be the nominee and Barack will be here VP. For
now, it's 4 years of McCain first, thanks to your inexperienced and bumbling
    candidate Barack.
You're going to lose. And it's your fault for being ugly to Hillary
supporters. You're an idiot. You don't be insolent to people whose votes you
need but then you're just as stupid as the arrogant Barack. You're going to
lose. Get use to it. And yes you are blocked. Now you go right into the
delete file where you your trashy mind belongs - loser.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
    SaminKingsland,

Gosh, I guess I'm not BLOCKED, am I? By the way, I do believe it is YOU who are being "insolent" (good word by the way) to the people here, not the other way around.

    LOLOL....

Okay, I'll bite. I thought the convention was a masterpiece, ditto for the
country, but there was a crack that could be fatal.

Obama was so busy thinking he's already President he forgot to ask 18
million voters directly, "I want your vote, we need your vote to win and I'm
asking you to stay in your party and consider me, please".

We've already seen the despicable way he's treated Hillary; having an aide
call her to tell her she's not VP, excuse me?! Why bother?!

The one throw away line by Michelle, Hillary blab la...." to placate us,
    why bother?

We're on the long stick of many many insults by Obama supporters, "get over
it, you're candidate lost, she's a bitch, you're all sore losers, we don't
need your votes", while McCain seems to feel our pain and has openly invited
us directly "Please consider me for your vote".

Mind you it was 18 million voters who are wholly being ignored by Obama.

After 3 months we still want to hear from his own mouth, Obama say directly
to us "please vote for me". He didn't; big mistake. He didn't say he would
be using Hillary, other than getting his votes for him, for any cabinet or
leadership role in his administration. Big mistake.

Today McCain will announce his VP, imagine, for a moment, if it is a woman,
the governor of Alaska or the female founder and CEO of EBay. Suddenly the
4.5 million disgruntled men and women who voted for Hillary (30% plus poll
estimates of the ones who don't want to vote for Obama and will vote McCain
and 27% more undecided), who saw how badly Obama and his big mouth
supporters treated Hillary and them, her supporters. Now imagine that McCain
has the smarts to fight back, convince voters he's not Bush and Obama is not
Martin Luther King and what's more, Obama himself voted 90% of the time, in
line with Bush, check the record, it's a fact, and the rest of the time he
voted "present" 120 times, 4 months out of the year, and vacationed the
other 8 months. On crucial issues Obama just voted "present".

"We need a Madam Vice President, not a mr. present" McCain will say.

"Obama has never held down a job for more than 3 years, much less the most
important job in the world, for 4 years. "

And then there is Obama's baggage. A lot. Enough to fill a book and these
voters are looking to find reasons not to vote for Obama.

In his speech Obama spoke of his mother, passed over for better jobs
because she was a woman. He spoke of the starving people who no one bothers
    to feed.

My God, the man doesn't see the irony in his own actions, in his own life.

    The Republicans will.

They'll bring out his starving brother in Africa whom Obama has visited but
    never bothered to help.

Then they will bring out and display all of the charity work Cindy has done,
    her philanthropy is prolific.

If I was an Obama supporter right now, me personally, I'd be praying McCain
listens to his senile side and chooses Lieberman instead of a smart,
    successful and wealthy woman.

I I don't think Obama will be a good president. He might not win.

I think he will take the bar that Bush has raised so high, and party and go
on vacation even more than Bush, who has taken off a total of 2 years out of
    the last 5.

    Why? Obama's character - a leader doesn't vote present on 120 crucial
issues, a savvy politician does; it avoids the risk of making the perceived
    wrong decision/ "mistake".

He had up on his website his agreement and alignment with Bush's Iraq war
which he took off soon after he started to run for the Presidency, and he
has a war supporter in Biden, leaving the liberal side of the party in
    doubts.

Show me a candidate who walks their talk and I'll show you Hillary and
Nader, and possibly McCain in some ways.

When he had the executive privilege to leave the POW camps early, because
his father was a general, McCain stayed 6 more years.

Would "the elitist" Obama have done the same? If he thinks he's better than
us, that he can take an offer on his mortgage that you and I would never
get, just because he's a Senator, would he think that he was entitled to
leave the POW camp early? I think Obama would have skipped out on his
tortured buddies in a New York minute. Not all politicians exploit and take
advantage of their status, only the corrupt ones. And Obama has that for his
    proven track record.

He just wants to be President. Will he really deliver on his speech? Has he
    ever? The answer is no.

What I saw last night was the Democratic party (and Obama) taking credit
for 8 years of well managed peace and prosperity and excluding the very 2
people who were responsible for that management.

I love the Democratic family. I always have, The very best, most of them
women party leaders, are dead now and gone but I remember those women's
fiery speeches for ethics, hope, and the where with all to change what
    needed changing.

I am a yellow dog liberal who has voted straight democrat for 40 years.

Although I can't fully enjoy now,the convention and campaign, now that I've
been excluded and ostracized, then condescended to by the newer members of
my own party, well what was once my party too.

We 18 million Hillary supporters are outsiders now, Obama doesn't even ask
for our votes, not one modicum of diplomacy or respect for Hillary and her
    supporters.

And Obama? He could care less. Big mistake.

For now, he's "too little too late Obama" in my book.

Out of pure insecure jealousy Michelle nixed Hillary. She had nothing to
fear but her own fear and now women are looking at the exuberant Sarah
Palin, governor of Alaska for McCains possible VP choice.

Even lifelong democrats absolutely love her there, " a breath of fresh air
they say" and they're right. She's the most impressive Republican I've ever
    gotten to know.

Obama is in deep deep trouble, when this is over and he's lost it may even
put a strain on their marriage.

I wonder how long it will take for McCain to pull the ultimate coup an make
Obama's dream his own. Turnabout is fair play.

But the cinematic fanfare of last night's convention was utterly
breathtaking; a beautiful dream of hope and truer possibilities.

Wow. The trolls are really getting desperate. Sad.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
Yes and I'm glad to see that Americablog is patrolling their site during such a busy convention season..
  • SaminKingsland · 1 year ago
Takes one to know one. You'll know what it's like drolly, soon enough. And
    then we'll see desperate ;o)
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
Pssst, "DROLLY" is an adverb that means: having a humorous, whimsical, or odd quality such as; his dignified presence decorated our droll little quarters

So I guess you paid Andyz a compliment, of sorts. How nice!
  • SaminKingsland · 1 year ago
Oh yes, I will be laughing at you!
California just passed 400 votes - why? Because it would have put Hillary on
top. You people are liars cheaters and thieves. What comes around goes
    around.
Yes, You're blocked I'm just enjoying responding to you people. You make me
    small minded trolly drollies ha!
  • Andyz · 1 year ago
You're ignorance is staggering. The reason California passed was since Hillary released her delegates and if they had voted, Obama would have reached the nominating number well before New York and Hillary wouldn't have had the oppertunity to give her acclimation speech. You're in way over your head.
  • SaminKingsland · 1 year ago
Okay I was wrong - you're still the ignorant one here. You're the one who
can't stand the truth cause you know Obama is his worse enemy.

    No how, no way, nobama!
The big 900lb. gorilla in the room is Obama himself. If his ideology is so
close to Clintons then why was she overlooked and her 18 million votes
dismissed? Obama is a flip flopper. Obama is a late adopter. I am looking at
McCains character and then Obama's and I find Obama sorely lacking. He
appointed Caroline Kennedy to vet the VP list?!! Are you kidding me? What
are her qualifications other than her name? I thought 18 million votes
decided Hillary's qualifications. So you see, there is this gorilla no one
has the honesty to address. This man is our unifier? No, he needs Hillary to
do that. This man is compassionate? Why is his half-brother living on a dirt
floor and on one dollar a month? Why? This is not about party unity, this is
about fundamental character that governs a persons actions. I question
Obama\'s maturity. He borrowed his one speech which he said over and over
during the campaign, from Hillary\'s many speeches. He even
borrowed/plagiarized "Si se puede" from Cesar Chavez. He opts for McCains
ideas now. What is so far apart from him and McCain?! If McCain says we need
to offshore drill, then so does Obambi. If McCain says we need to increase
forces in Afghanistan then so does Obama. He says we need to back-off on
corporate taxes - now so does Obama. He says we need nuclear energy now so
does Obama. We need to acknowledge this behavior.
He voted “present’ 120 times when crucial decisions needed to be made. He
didn’t put Hillary on the VP list when she had 18 million votes! he can’t
even unite his own party without Hillary. We need a Madam President, not a
mr. present. I’m voting for McCain because McCain deserves my vote. Obama
does not. And yes, I am a statistic, a man, a gay man, a liberal, who, like
4.5 million other Hillary supporters, will vote for McCain. Hope you’re
happy, you and your candidate failed to unite this party. It’s prophetic isn’t
    it? Divided We Fail(ed). And it’s Obama’s fault, not Hillary’s. He’s the
presumptive, he’s the candidate, he’s the “leader”. And if she does run
again we won’t need your votes, we will win without your votes. Hillary is
unstoppable. She didn’t upstage Obama, she’s just better. Hillary got the
popular vote, not Obama. He paid upwards of 100,000 dollars per delegate, to
buy super delegates. He got the nomination the same way Bush got it, he was
“selected”. That’s how you want your leader? Just like Bush? This election
is now Obama’s to lose so don’t blame Hillary, he’s not the right stuff. And
yes, your Obama is going to lose and he won’t be needing a VP.The Buck stops
at Barack. What candidate alienates 18 million voters by mistreating their
candidate? What fool does that?! What arrogant fool refuses to make the
effort to show leadership and ask the runner up’s voters for their votes?!
He has her do it for him. Well, we’re not going to vote for someone who acts
that childish. He can’t be any better than McCain. I’ll vote for McCain, he
works well with Hillary, Kennedy and Biden! To hell with Barack the little
    boy! He’s supposed to be the great unifier?!! Come on with the lies;
strength? integrity? Give me a flippin break! PUMA! Will Barack acknowledge
his failings when he loses the election?!!! Don’t hold your breath! We’re
still waiting for him to ask for our votes?! He’s too little too late Obama.
There\'s your gorilla! Thank you for all the hard work and money you have
raised, Sacha, for Hillary. God bless you. Liberal for McCain 2008 - Scott
    Pelham

Oh lookie, the troll is typing "drolly" when he probably means "drooly". What a maroon...
