Sorry Joe, this is off topic, but very disturbing news. Monica Lewinsky should be glad Bill Clinton was a Democrat then.

I wouldn't be too worried about Anita Bonds. She was a long-time operative for Marion Barry and knows where ALL the bodies are buried. DC voted overwhelmingly for Obama and she is the last person who will buck that trend.

every day this isn't over is another day of new Hillary anti-Obama footage lobbyist gynecologist John McCain can use in autumn ads. Make up your minds McCain proxies

As Chuck Todd said that if this was a state primary they would have already called this for Obama, because Hillary cannot overcome the math and for her to continue to run when she has already lost and hope that the Supers will over turn everything and hand her the nomination because she said so, that would be party suicide.
  • Ginger_FL · 1 year ago
Excellent idea, I hope it works to get some of these dam Supers out.
This whole selfish Primary crap from Hillbot just disgusts most voters.

Note to DNC, have primaries all happen either on same day or within a couple of weeks of each other around Jan-Feb timeframe. This drawn out slow death spiral is more than I can handle!!

This primary season is entirely too long. I'd like to take a look at the dunces who can't make up their minds. Seems to me, they're waiting for the last 'best offer' to persuade them! I also suspect that Hillary isn't so well regarded in the Senate -- rather I think her bombast is TOLERATED because of her husband. She has never figured out what's best for the country, in her overly ambitious quest for further power. Get this mess over with. It should take about 3-4 weeks. When is enough, finally enough?

It's party suicide, regardless. If SDs flip the nomination to Clinton, then Al Sharpton launches nationwide riots and Dems look chaotic. If Obama gets the nomination, GOP digs out all of the details of his family, including cousins who are Muslim politicians in Africa, then run a massive swift-boating, and Obama loses. Consider that he has one a lot of states in South and West that are pretty solidly Republican.

Clinton has a chance at beating McCain. Obama has no chance. (And for the record, I prefer Obama).

Hey, quick question Obama fans. You're aware that many of the superdelegates switched from supporting Hillary to supporting Obama. If Obama were to lose in North Carolina, a state where he had a twenty point lead a week ago, do you think any of those superdelegates might switch back?
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
No, they're committed to backing Obama now. They know the reason the Republicans are attacking him is because, by far, he would be the toughest opponent to beat. Note, how little the Republicans have to say about Hillary.
  • jaclemons222 · 1 year ago
We shall see. If Obama can't win in North Carolina, it will send a shiver down the spines of many a superdelegate. And keep in mind, most of those superdelegates were just as committed to Clinton six months ago.

This is the best news yet. A powerful message indeed!

To Graham Crack-head! You've missed the point of the entire campaign of Obama. This is about overcoming all the obstacles up ahead. The more they throw at him, the more Presidential he looks.
You're playing into the fear factor. Are you sure you're not a Republican plant?

Bob Brady's office is an undeclared Obama supporter. From the Philadelphia Inquirer on April 24th:

Karen Warrington, Brady's spokeswoman, said the Philadelphia lawmaker "has indicated he will stick by his pledge to follow the lead of his constituents in deciding who to support for president, but he has not indicated when that announcement will be made."

Brady's district went overwhelmingly for Obama.
