Mmmm...let's see now...$3 Trillion spent on Chimpy McFlightsuit's PR stunt war....mmmmm let's see now...alternate ideas? How about stopping Chevron's patent burial of the NiMH battery or throwing some of those Iraq bucks into battery research...would give us a compact electric car with 500 mile range....half of our homes could own one since average commute is 29 miles round trip....cost of fuel for these 1200 miles per gallon carbon equivalents...mmmm let's see...no way Jose...American corporate types only see three months ahead...quarterly rate of return on the investment for the stock holders....mmm let's see....American idiot voter keeps electing these oil criminals because they somehow think these guys go to praise Jesus on Sundays... WRONG....they play golf on Sundays. Mmmm America lost her bling bling? I guess she has and these nomadic medieval stone age arabs laugh all the way to their bank accounts.

You dislike Monaco, or you dislike passing through it briefly?

You don't see the Queen hustling over to Saudi Arabia to buy a horse ranch, you don't see EU money partying on the streets of Vladivastok, you don't even see tin-horn US dictator-clones buying up land in the sand. They buy land in Paraguay. I'm guessing the global country bumpkins got some cash and they're off to the classy parts of the world to spend it. It's fascinating what the global bumpkins think is worth buying: cheesy ball clubs and rococo-a-go-go housing.
NBD! [ no big deal! ]

Americans are not at the top of the bling bling list anymore thanks to our stupid "energy policy" written by dick and his big oil buds.

It is a bizarre but possibly shrewd purchase.

Manchester city has always played second fiddle to United. They have not won a major trophy since Carter was in the White House, they have faced relegation in two out of the past three seasons. Its like buying the NY Mets rather than the Yankees. Along with Liverpool, Man U. have been a powerhouse team for as long as anyone can remember. Manchester City has not.

It may be a smooth PR move, can't see it being much of an investment.

And they paid Real Madrid 32.5 million pounds (about 65 million dollars) for Robinho. Stealing him away from Chelsea at literally the last minute of the transfer window.

Interesting times in the English Premier League.

    UP THE IRONS!!!
