Yes and expect about one to two million more unemployed by end of January. Some economists predict about one million per month for the rest of 2009. So around 10+ million out of work by start of 2010. Obama's stimulus plan is way to little and too late to stop the layoffs. Food riots are possible by next Christmas. Thank Bush and Pelosi for destroying the economy.

Barry's stimulus plan? You mean pennies for the working folks and big tax breaks for the wealthy? Yeah, that's worked so well in the past.

We need to start thinking about who to support in 2012. I'm betting Hillary already has the exploratory committee lined up.

I think things are so out of control Obama's plan is bound for failure. But the genesis of this depression did not start with him. See my remarks on a lower thread about credit default swaps, the hidden horror. This is nowhere near over.

My son said months ago that Obama will be blamed...that racist cynics will say, see, we elected a black man and of course, he was a failure. But, by playing it safe with Rubin, Summers, Geithner and those yahoos--trusting the establishment of Wall St and politics, he's made a huge mistake in judgment. But maybe that's who he has been, all along.

we don't need tax cuts for corporations or the rich. We need work here in America. Unfortunately, even if a company makes a profit it is not good enough for investors. They are too greedy and corporations are always looking short term instead of long term.
