AMERICAblog: After launching negative ads against Obama, the McCain camp accuses Obama of launching "first attack ads." Will the media fall for the McCain spin?

Not only will they "fall" for it, they will be complicit in spreading the damn lie. I am so sick of the media I could scream.

I just watched the Obama ad. That is what they are calling an attack ad. Since when has the truth been an attack ad?

The "media" does not fall for anything. They just await orders from corporate on what to say. Reporters for FOX, MSNBC, CNN, all major networks are either slaves or are in the business of selling their time to the highest bidder, all void of integrity and only interest in profit, theirs and/or their masters.

By the way, the blogs have spilled trillions of word over the FISA debacle. I cannot find anything on this issue on the major networks? Why? Constitutional rights do not pay.

One thing the republicans lack is honesty. They try to win elections by deceiving, and attacking their opponents. The media has seen this happening again, and again, and since they also learned a very bad lesson by promoting Bush and Cheney's ridiculous war in Iraq, and not doing a damn thing about it, when we were given false intelligence, I do not have any confidence in our media, and that they will question and do the right thing.
    They put sensationalism over truth.

Yawn..... I'm more concerned about gays taking over the ancient sport of "cage wrestling". Really, isn't marriage enough?

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Crowds in Arkansas came for the lure of cage fighting and $1 beer, but police say what they got instead was men ripping each others' clothes off and kissing — a stunt suspected of being orchestrated by Sacha Baron Cohen of "Borat" fame.

"We had a contract for cage fighting. We were deceived," said Dwight Duncan, president and CEO of Four States Fair Grounds in Texarkana, where the first of two Arkansas fights raised suspicions last month.

Matt Labov, a Los Angeles-based publicist for Baron Cohen, said he had no comment Monday about the faked fights. One of Baron Cohen's movies is due out next year.

    Should be interesting.

He played that fashionista character on his Ali G. show, and would go down south and drive the Rednecks nuts. Surprised he didn't get killed.

Joe, you're a smart guy. C'mon, can't you tell the media (MSM) is all aboard the forked-tongue express. The MSM got us stuck in Iraq too and like Bush, they cannot admit they made a mistake. That would be the final blow to their dwindling subscribers and viewers. Murdoch is already banking on China. America is almost a banana republic.

Cheney censored the EPA, like he did the CIA before the Iraq war.

All McCain is doing is copying what Shillary did from February on----it almost worked for her, so I am sure he is willing to use the same tactics.

Then we can expect him to cry in public next?

I would love to hear someone ask John McCain, why he should be elected President since when voters had a chance to vote for McCain or gw bush, they chose gw bush. We know what a disaster that is.
The GOP electorate chose gw by a wide margin over McCain. That has to leave a mark.

i like how the Obama camp does not let the sun set on an attack or lie. I am also proud of the fact that he is running a clean campaign. I have yet to hear anyone call out McBastard's wife as drug-using trollop.

Note to Obama campaign: It might be a good idea now to have a generic ad that is a comeback for every time McSame runs out a "war experience" and "POW" ad. That ad should note McSame's service then split the screens to "That was THEN.................. this is NOW..." and go to a long list of things The SAINT really stands for and what he has in common with BUSH. Keep that ad and just drop in new points every time the McSame camp trots out his military past, by the way A LONG TIME AGO! Neutralize that experience NOW!!!!

Old Insane McBush3 can shake his cane at the sky all he wants, but there is NO CREDENCE left anywhere in this world that he isn't working to be McBush3. He even had his fascist bulls kick out an old lady from a line because she was holding a sign that said "McCain=Bush." I don't understand all the slimy details but the lady is going to be prosecuted for trespass. Now how is this any different than Bush-Cheney public appearances when the would-be attendees, the public, were vetted or needed tickets obtainable only through party hacks. If you vote for this old ghoul we might as well change the name NOW to FSA- Fascist States of America.
