Good! I'm glad the subject of climate change is being addressed. Answers my question, of course. After this election, it's going to be the biggest issue in this country, now that al Maliki is on the same page as Obama regarding troop withdrawal, Afghanistan notwithstanding.
Meanwhile, just how deep in crime was Phil Gramm's involvement with UBS? He's been described as a vice president in the financial services division in the US, but not as an "operating executive" but an "advisor." Nevertheless, we all know what "advisor" means...political clout and dealing in hanky panky. Don't forget the Enron "loophole" either.
ReligiousR, you know. And the banking scandal, the Enron loop, ...

Yup. This is going to be huge. UBS sees the writing on the wall too. The American MSM won't touch it with a ten foot pole yet but this is unprecedented. Something big is going down and it involves MANY filthy rich, lawbreaking Americans.

I imagine this has sent Right Online on a frantic quest to get their own surprise speaker. Unfortunately, with all those indictments, subpoenas, and court appearance, big name Republicans are hard to book at the last moment. On the other hand, they could just go to the nearest local men's room and see who's hanging out on the other side of the glory hole.

What's the difference between a cop and a U.S. journalist?
They both like donuts, but the cop can't be bribed with one.

I'm thinking there's more UBS dirt that's going to come out soon.
But, then again, maybe he just doesn't want to be in a losing campaign.
LOL.

Imagine if Al Gore was not cheated of the Presidency, and that he was the President for the past 7 years.
We would not be in Iraq, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, would still be alive, our troops would be alive, and we would not have spent billions and billions of dollars on an unnecessary war. Defense contractors and energy companies would not have made billions and Cheney would be poorer.
Social security might still be in that lock box.
We might have found alternative energy sources, and the energy companies would be paying taxes for emissions.
We would not have the reputation for being a rogue nation, and no prisoners would have been tortured under President Gore.
Life would be much better for the average American.

I have long suspected that if Gore was president, the law enforcement apparatus would have been alert to the early signs of 9-11 and the attacks may have been prevented. He surely wouldn't have blown off a PDB titled "bin Laden determined to attack inside the US"

ABC/WP Poll showing Obama advantage was withheld from the public.

There's more to it than we know.
McCain wouldn't dump him for a stupid comment.
