Bravo for this guy. Looking at the photo of the guy suspended from what must have been a ton of chains, it is very makeshift. Indeed he is a hero. And makes me glad there are still such people in the world after reading here day after day about selfish, self-serving jackasses like Madoff, Sanford, Obama, Blagojevich, Bush, Cheney, etc. Need people like Jason Oglesbee to remind me that the human race isn't totally rotten. Bravo and bless him.

I'd love to know what's in the water there in Iowa. . they just seem to get it. . .not too mention they seem to be one of the most progressive state...Iowa, who knew!? You also never seem to hear about any negative attitudes concerning gay marriage being legal there either.

OMG! this has actually happened to me. i got caught just like that when i was tubing down a river about 15 years ago. lost my tube and got caught in the boil just like this lady. some stranger literally reached down and pulled me out. he was hanging on to a friend of his, and they made a human chain and yanked me out of the water. i would've drowned otherwise. *shudder*
