As long as people are willing to continue to vote for Republicans like Senator Inhofe and John McCain, who say they "supports the troops" but VOTE AGAINST THEM at every opportunity then we can't expect change. Seriously, I'm a veteran, and Veteran Organizations need to start actively engaging and running commercials against the Republicans who make life miserable for troops. Instead, too many older vets who have stock in Halliburton attend speeches and pat the likes of Jim Inhofe and John McCain on the ASS for SCREWING OUR YOUNG TROOPS!

The military command's credibility on this issue of proper veteran care is zero.
The behavior of service brass reminds me of the Vatican's as child abuse became a thornier topic.
Recent windows into inept inner workings were afforded through the circumstances surrounding the murdered pregnant soldiers in the Carolinas...

Good article about the "cone of silence" Republican scandal:

One thing I'd like to note is Republicans use this crap to fund raise. Every time they do, Obama should declare WAR against Fox News to generate matching funds.

I'd like to know how John McCain is going to chase Osama to the gates of hell when his President has DONE NOTHING, or been entirely impotent, for eight years. Now, because of Republican mismanagement we've lost an ally Musharref in trying to catch Osama. What does John McCain have to say about all that besides running around making ridiculous claims that "Osama is a traitor?" Republicans are the traitors. They are the ones who have made the policies that are destroying our nation.

They might neglect to tell the story, but the press refuses to ask the hard questions.

McCain constantly votes against veterans but gets "pro military" billing by reporters who feel they need to keep their crediblity by continuing a storyline they've told for the last quarter century

Oh, come on, America takes care of our sick and wounded veterans. Haven't you seen the stickers on the back of our cars? Oh, wait, maybe I'm wrong and the support stops after the sticker is applied. Must be.
