AMERICAblog: "Another example of the fog of nonsense that has increasingly enveloped the Clinton campaign"

  • CDS2 · 1 year ago
Talk about 'eating your own'. After the blood bath currently going on, it seems to me that neither of the two Democrat potential nominees have a snowballs chance in hell of beating McCain. Also seems to me that the convention wil be locked up tight for at least two votes. My guess? After those two votes, someone nominates Al Gore, and the place will come apart with joy !

I'm sure you all realize this, but the Republicans are laughing their a$$es off at us. Limbaugh even did a comedic update on his show featuring how Democrats are eviscerating Hillary better than any Republican ever could - then he giggled. We have been made the butt of a big joke and once again the Republicans are driving all media coverage. Bush elected twice and now a McCain Presidency. What a country.

Unlike Clinton, Obama voiced concern about the housing market A YEAR AGO!

I still don't buy the Clinton Supporters' premise that Super Delegates (or regular delegates for that matter) would swarm over to Clinton's side given the chance.

She's not liked and now she's not even credible. She is obviously also hiding a hell of a lot of dirt between her tax returns, Pardon Gate, the White House papers and the donations to the Clinton Library.

Everybody in the party knows what the Clintons are like. No way they'd think Hillary was the safe bet in the fall.

I am not an Obama fan but lately I to have noticed that MSM is doing all it can to assist in the coronation of Senator Clinton as the Demokrautic POTUS nominee.

In fact I commented the other day I noticed that FOX news competitors, MSNBC, CNN etc. act more & more like FOX news the closer Senator Obama gets to the nomination.

you should post this comment on hillary's website, I'm sure she has a blog you can comment on.

if it wasn't for hillary dragging this out... there wouldn't BE this infighting.
she can't win, she knows it... and she WANTS mccain to win because he'll only be a 1 termer.... then she can run again in four years. Hell, she's even giving mccain AMMO to use against Obama! how's that for standing with your party?

see how that works? THAT'S why I dislike her so much, not only is she dividing the party... but she's PUSHING for a nother 4 years of repugnican rule.

she can't beat mccain even if she could win the nomination. too many issues for him to slam her on... including all the points she sees as her strong points.

They HAVE to keep telling themselves that (and anyone who will listen).

How else could they go on.....

Personally I am sick of politics, Washington DC, the MSM (Mind Sequencing Methodologies) & the rampant corruption that is outdoing any other place on earth.

I been thinking journalism & political "science" degrees must have an abundance of acting & theater classes in the curriculum.

It dawned on me too that the minor must be in scapegoatology.

Now that Pastorgate is behind Obama, a new PA poll shows race tightening there. Clinton up only 10 points with four weeks until the state's primary.

Obama campaign workers registered a lot of people at the college I go to in Harrisburg, Pa. Not me though.

I don't think they even spent the whole day there. A LOT of people are tired of white dudes in suits and the corruption with which they rule.

    That's a good one

The various delegates came and spoke at our district Democratic Party meeting exactly like candidates give their pitch to vote for them. THE ONE question asked and answered over and over again was how committed they were to hold to voting for their candidate. In every instance there were 10-15 people running for a single delegate position.
  • tommytoonz · 1 year ago
I believe there's already been one Clinton delegate that switched to Obama. I recall hearing upon the final delegate count in Iowa that 7 of Edwards delegates switched to Obama (the other 7 stayed with Edwards), and 1 Clinton delegate switched to Obama. Forget where I read it.

Wow, so much for Hillary being a good role model for little girls. Here is what she is saying to our children: Lie, cheat and steal. The ends justifies the means. Only your needs matter. Screw everyone who gets in your way. Integrity is for whimps who don't understand "the game". Everyone can be bought (or blackmailed). If you get caught, blame the other guy. If all else fails, play the victim card.
  • ericgoldman · 1 year ago
I hate to rain on your parade, but I believe Hilary is right on this one. My understanding is that the committed delegates are committed for the first vote at the convention only. But, if there is no winner after the first vote, then they can vote their conscience. That's my understanding.

BTW -- during the past 2 days when you have posted 8-10 negative articles about Hilary, has Obama been anywhere or done anything or said anything? Anywhere at all, anything at all?

Another way to "wrap this thing up" would be for the MSM to stop covering a candidate who mathematically cannot win but wants to perpetuate the perception that she can. The MSM stopped giving Ron Paul and Mike Hukabee, for example, much coverage long before the actually quit the race. Why? Because neither of these candidates had a chance of pulling ahead of McCain, the front runner. If the media would follow the same policy in their coverage of Hillary, essentially marginalizing her lost candidacy, the Democratic race would "wrap up" rather quickly. But the sad reality is that covering Hillary, and colluding with her in creating the perception that she has a chance, keeps the controversy and enmity between the two remaining Democratic candidates alive, is good for business. The MSM is as much to blame as Hillary for dragging out this protracted primary battle and mudslinging, if not more so. HIllary would be less than a voice crying in the wilderness if the press stopped giving front page coverage to everything she said.
