Haven't watched them in years (decades?). But damn, they're pretty funny.

Hilarious. Hard to believe Hollywod Squares just seemed normal to us in the 70's. Warped.

Lessee. Bret Sommers, Paul Lynde (or C N Reilly), Bernadette Peters, Marcia something from the Bob Newhart Show, Nipsey Russell and Doug Henning. Whew, the only one I had to google was Nipsey, and I should have known that. Way too much time watching teevee as a kid.

I think the SNL audience was mostly under 40. LOL. The impersonations were funny. God rest their souls.

That was absolutely hilarious. Thank you for sharing!
(And thanks to GSN for the fact that I actually got it!)

Very funny!! Who ever is playing the part of Paul Lynde is hilarious. He has picked up all the nervous mannerisms Paul Lynde had and personified them by 10.

From the first comment on NBC's site:
Who ever wrote that clip is a genius, they made watching the show worth the while. I wonder how he thought up the characters and their personalities, especially the Steve's.
That said, it was a perfect Paul Lynde.

Okay, must be showing my age, but that's funny stuff!!
How they captured the set and the whole cheesy "Match Game" moniker is truly amazing stuff by the SNL crew. Now I'm ticked that I missed it.
