This is from the AP in todays Minneapolis Star-Tribune:

By MARK SHERMAN , Associated Press

WASHINGTON - Republican John McCain is misreading seven-year-old comments by rival Barack Obama about "redistributive change" to argue that the Democrat's tax policy is built on "taking your money and giving it to someone else."

    http://www.startribune.com/politics/national/pr...

I'd say it's more than a 'misreading'....more like outright lying.

I'm sure Sidoti and the woman "interviewing" Biden from Florida will find work with Fox News when Obama kicks McCains butt next Tuesday.

whoa just got a pop up ad from Children International when I came to this site. Is it just me?
  • cmccbald · 1 year ago
She writes: " "McCain shows gritty determination in final week."

    Unless it's raining.

The democrat plans to take down the 401K's doesn't bother me that much; because I don't have one. Therefore, when I die, the USgov won't get half of my 401K. It's the next ladder up on the Jimmy Carter" rung that bothers me. It's the Wealth Tax, where the IRS takes 5% of what you have in your bank accounts at the end of each year. That's the killer deal for the US economy. Carter couldn't get it passed. But, the charismatic Obama might be able to do it...

And if O had tails they'd be Q's

(You're just as wacko as Palin.)
  • UncleGlenny · 1 year ago
Where can I find out about this plan?
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
It's been all over the news. Where you been? Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, all the normal suspects. The Jimmy Carter plans failed. But, most of the companies in the US abandoned their P/P plans (including my company) because of the threat. When you take advantage of a government tax vehicle; the gov't owns your money...

Don't listen to Busboy. He's lying.
Notice he doesn't provide you with one citation, one link, one clearly defined fact.
Busboy is another poser like "the Plumber" -- pretending he's something he's not, and will have something he never will.

What will this sloppy whore do when her sugar daddy dies?

What else? Shop for trashy tops...
Palin's assistant stopped in at the Ann Taylor at the Summit Sierra Mall and bought the skirt suit that she wore during to her speech Tuesday..."It is so nice to be back here in the Sunshine State and quite warm which I love and grabbed a jacket this morning to put on not realizing how warm it would be...My own jacket, yes."

Mebbe, lyin' and shoppin' for trashy tops...

OK, I just caught something on AC360 about Joe the Plumber holding some sort of press conference? Or he was with McCain somewhere? And he was chiming in about Israel?? WTF?? Anyone got more info about this?? I think it's hilarious!
  • Wesinoregon · 1 year ago
Yes, he says Obama will destroy Israel. What a KOOK.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Isn't fashionplate Mooselini giving another "major (snicker!!!) policy address" tomorrow???
  • Wesinoregon · 1 year ago
I hope not, I've had enough of that creature.
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
Oh, I hope he just keeps holding press conferences and giving interviews.

    McCain/Palin/Joe the Plumber
  • Wesinoregon · 1 year ago
Yes Indeed. And please google 14 points of fascism. You will find that the Republican Party needs a 15th. They have used them all up.
  • Wesinoregon · 1 year ago
Yeah right, McInsane is a real gritty guy. I still wonder how being a POW entitles him. And NO, I don't think he is a real hero. A real hero doesn't crash his plane/s. A real hero saves lives and sacrifices. He did none of that. He has used his position of honorary hero for deceit and lies. I used to have "some" respect for the guy but now think he is trash. He has trashed his title of honor.
  • eladinmo · 1 year ago
Oh my. Well, you can't spell idiots without Sidoti.

    McCain shows gritty determination

But it can usually be sponged off in the bus on the ride to the next event...
  • vwcat · 1 year ago
I guess she just cannot face that McCain will lose and with it her dreams of being White House press secretary.
  • decotodd · 1 year ago
I saw this headline when I was checking my Yahoo account and thought of all of you! I clicked on it out of curiosity since the "gritty determination" seemed so biased, and sure enough --- there was Liz's by-line!
  • Dave of the Jungle · 1 year ago
I call on Senator McCain to concede the election, without delay.
  • justadood · 1 year ago
God, get that woman a new set of kneepads. This level of devotion a guy usually gets when he pays for it....
  • vkobaya · 1 year ago
Get real! She fully expects to be paid.
  • vkobaya · 1 year ago
Aside from a supernatural power suddenly striking all of us dead with lightening or the Klingon and Cardassian fleets blasting all Democrats from space, Obama is going to win. Yet, McCain continues to lie, smear, spit out hatred, spite and racism. To what purpose? Only because that is his fundamental nature which also is why he is loosing by such a vast, lopsided margin. He gleefully puts his worst foot forward for the entire world to see. If he gives a gracious concession speech on the morning of November 5th, I don't think my heart will be able to take it. Or maybe he will find it in him to finally give a gracious concession speech, November 5, 2010, if not 2016.

McCain has shoddy taste buds. Where I come from, the birthplace of his favorite, another chain is the Coffee and donuts of choice. DD has become corporatized. It is owned by Mitt Romney now. WE old timers don't set foot into any because their stuff has become so bad. It wasn't always that way either. Mitt will do that without blinking an eye. DD is taking advantage of "New" coffee drinkers. They can't tell the difference.
  • catdance · 1 year ago
Worse. DD is owned by the Carlyle Group.
