Its fuel source of redneck idiots dried up.
  • therepguy · 1 year ago
This may be a little off topic, but I was wondering if there any poles out there that addresses the BS, lies and hate mongering that go on in the McCain camp?

It would be nice, if Americans could send a strong message that would give MaCain reason to question his current campaign tactics.

I for one want to hear ideas not crap!
  • Rab · 1 year ago
25% of this country should be dropped off..........where? Why isn't it 0%, what moron would think the shrub has done a good job? Even the repugs I know don't approve of this asshat.
  • KerrynowCampau · 1 year ago
Drop them off in Baghdad. Their glorious leader had declared mission accomplished!

B-b-But! BUT! George W. Bush will be vindicated by history and historians! After we're all dead! After we're all GLAD we're dead, thanks to George W. Bush treating the world like a toddler treats a diaper (hat tip to Graydon Carter for that one).
  • michaelt · 1 year ago
how can it be that high? there's no way that's right. there's no way. none. that's crazy!

  • sukabi1 · 1 year ago

  • grandma · 1 year ago

    Business big shot: Neel Kashkari
    Tom Bawden
A space technology whizz who works in the US Treasury is expected to be appointed to run one of the world's largest investment funds. Neel Kashkari, 35, who developed technology for Nasa missions in his first career, is thought to have been chosen to oversee the $700 billion fund that the US Treasury has set up to buy bad mortgages from financial institutions.

Mr Kashkari's appointment, which is to be announced soon but is likely to expire when a new government takes office in January, comes less than 18 months after Henry Paulson, the US Treasury Secretary, poached him from Goldman Sachs. There he headed the IT Security investment banking practice in San Francisco, advising companies on mergers, flotations and other financial transactions. Mr Kashkari joined the Treasury last year as an adviser. He quickly became involved in the unfurling credit crisis and was promoted to the position of Treasury assistant secretary for international affairs.

CNN has Bush approval at 24 %,....almost that of Nixon.
  • Sage24 · 1 year ago
That's 25 percent of American idiots. How embarrassing to think that there are people out there who just CANNOT get it. They are hell bent on voting for these same failed Bush policies, and fantasizing that McCain is going to be different, despite following those same failed policies. Any village idiot should know that when one party has let you down, lied to you, started an unnecessary wars, and whose top priority has been to take care of the wealthy, you vote for different policies, and want the country to take a different track. It is common sense. I guess that kool aid must have messed up their brains.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
I think 1/4 of the people can't admit they're wrong.....sorta like Bush himself.
  • Nigel Elliott · 1 year ago
Ayers, like McCain in Keating, was acquitted, right? Besides, McCain bombed more innocent people than Ayers anyway.

The GOP's smearing logic is crazier than their top of the ticket.

An estimated 26.2 percent of Americans ages 18 and older — about one in four adults — suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year.

    1. Kessler RC, Chiu WT, Demler O, Walters EE. Prevalence, severity, and comorbidity of twelve-month DSM-IV disorders in the National Comorbidity Survey Replication (NCS-R). Archives of General Psychiatry, 2005 Jun;62(6):617-27.

    Any questions?
  • RainbowPhoenix · 1 year ago
Most people with diagnosable mental illnesses still have at least average intelligence, so the numbers should still be lower.
  • nicho · 1 year ago
Well, you have to add in the idiots who don't have diagnosable illnesses.
  • RainbowPhoenix · 1 year ago
    Good point.
  • Rab · 1 year ago
Chuck Todd eating alot of shit on the news right now.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
    meaning what?
  • Rab · 1 year ago
Despite what the talking heads were saying about the debates being won by McCain/Palin it was the other way around with more people feeling Obama/Biden won the debates. Palin's negative rating going up too.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
Wow! David Gregory just said that he saw McCain in New Mexico and could tell McCain was upset with Obama.
    LOL

When you have David Gregory pointing out that McCain is "eractic" you know things are bad!

    LOL
  • KerrynowCampau · 1 year ago
I think McSame is jealous. An articulate, intelligent, good looking person is stealing away his dream.

The crashing economy is just another nail in his coffin. He may have that "Keating" remark on his headstone sooner than he thinks.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
I think McCain is getting ready to really blow....as in explode....he seemed really angry today.

He said today he didn't need any advice from a Chicago politician.......especially one that came out of nowhere.....lol lol lol....where the heck did Palin come from??
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
I am hoping for a full-on Captain Queeg tomorrow night.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
yeah...me too.....wonder if he'll be able to look at Obama this time
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
That goes in line with what David Gregory said tonight on his show. He could tell McCain was upset.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
    Yep...he sure was
  • PeteWa · 1 year ago
Diaper rash is a pain in the ass at his age!
  • samiinh · 1 year ago
McCain won't be able to look at Obama. He'll have a stroke. That grating voice of Sarah Palin would do it to anyone.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
Really...at his age...he just might have a stroke if he gets too angry.
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
I wonder if the town hall tomorrow night will have McCain ringers. Sneaking Republicans in as Independents or undecideds is so Rovian.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
ringer? what would a ringer say? What ever it is......Barack will tell him the truth.

I'm not worried about a ringer.
  • hollisterwelles · 1 year ago
I'm appalled that his approval ratings are still that high. Why aren't they in the single digits? What in the hell is wrong with people in this country? I guess you just can't educate fundamentally stupid, no matter what kind of facts are presented.

Make no mistake: Bush must go. He and his like should have been thrown out of office and in jail years ago.

    Period.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
I couldn't agree more....I think history is going to wonder why he wasn't , at the very least, impeached.
  • samiinh · 1 year ago
I wonder if Bush and his junta will get charged with war crimes. Maybe that'[s why Bush bought a ranch in Paraguay.
  • triple7s · 1 year ago
Is cheney still around? Is he orchestrating this new negative campaign.? Sounds like something he could get into.
  • Wild_Weasel · 1 year ago
Facts trump lies. Here's the truth: McCain was dirty during the Savings and Loan debacle that cost U.S. Taxpayers billions (not to mention the dirty hands of Neil Bush, GWB's brother). McCain doesn't get this integrity thing. Excellent video on Keating and the Savings and Loan scandal, and McCain's role:

Send this one on to your Republican friends.

It is amazing that Bush's trajectory has steadily been downhill in a pretty consistent line (except for the uptick from 9/11). Basically, the more everyone got to know him the more everyone realized he is a failure. My parents in Texas warned me that he was actually a terrible governor prior to 2000.
  • mbz · 1 year ago
The state of this economy, now adds a toxic ingredient to Bush's Beans. That is, if you can afford to eat them.
