AMERICAblog: AP's star reporter to Karl Rove in April 2004: Keep up the fight.

Another KKarl bootlicker, AP is another in a long chain of crap non-informing media that the repugs have poisoned.
  • Nigel Elliott · 1 year ago
AP = Associated Propaganda of the Bush regime.

AP was leftist because it usually printed facts of reality so it had to go.

Well, as you may know the media and all their ilk are co-conspirators of the bush crime family. I even think our "friend" Oblermann is a lackey. He repeats the talking points and frame of the neocons about 911. You can't be a stalwart fighter against the bush crime family and then repeat their words, their talking points on the cataclysmic event of 911.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
My friend, as we know, 911 was an inside job.

At this point, I think it is obvious that most of the "mainstream" media have pretty much endorsed John McSame or have certainly received their orders on how to slant coverage to aid the Republican candidate. There isn't much we can do about that situation - except the sooner we accept the reality the more effective we can be in countering it on every level.

The best way to combat that situation is complain. I don't mean just complaining to the Associated Propaganda, but organizing just as effectively as the wingnuts did over the last two presidential campaigns. That means, people - it is up to us to counter things in the local media, whether it originates with an AP report, the local editorials, or the constant weekly columns of "conservatives" like Coulter and Charen and Parker. In my locality, every week, these columns feature some attack or snipe at Obama - while rarely ever mentioning McSame. Either we learn how to write letters to the editor, email complaints about the lack of balanced coverage, or be prepared to create online blogs that are locally based and not afraid to snipe at the local media for shoddy coverage.

One thing in our favor is that public perception of the credibility of the American media is surely at a low - and we have conservatives, who whined about the "bias" they were going to "correct" by promoting a more obvious bias of their own - to blame (or thank) for that image. We all know that everything the far Right touches has rotted - look at the shape of this nation on every level. It is no longer safe to consider they just made "mistakes" - everything that flows from their keyboards is the deepest hatred for this nation and an indication of the projection of their own identity.

We cannot expect the press to function as a watchdog for the people of this country - they are in bed with the criminals.

Fournier is a yuppie. I don't even have to see his picture. I already know.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Used to be, it was with the yuppies, "you can't trust anyone over 30." Then when they got to be 30, it was, "you can't trust anyone that was over 30 then and now you can't trust anyone under 30." My entire life they've constantly made snide comments about my generation and still constantly do. But look who's in power now and what generation that has totally fucked things up. LOL
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Karla, Shrub, Fournier, all of them are yuppies. Hey yuppies, think Logans Run. The Sand Man...
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
I think of yuppies as the most self-absorbed navel-gazing pampered generation that has ever existed that constantly must have conflict. And we're sick of it.

Wasn't Fournier a commentator on Paul Weyrich's now defunct America's Voice TV network? Somehow his name rings a bell.

Presumably this Furnier guy (that looks French by the way, not that there's anything wrong with that) has a college degree, and working in public affairs, has more than a remedial knowledge of civics. Yet, the country, and the world at large, is a train wreck, and still these lackies are backing the idiot side of things.
