AMERICAblog: Are pollsters asking the wrong question about who voters will support in the fall?

It's just anothr cute-plausible-deniability way the media is trying to scare people away from Obama because of the-thing-that-must-not-be-name-at-risk-of-being-oversensitive.
I was really surprised that more of Obama's supporters said they would vote for her than vice-versa..
I don't think that is accurate at all............
Least not among anyone that I know.

John McCain just said his pastor Hagee's remark about the hurricane hitting New Orleans because of "the gays" was "Nonsense, thats just nonsense... and I'm not going to remark on it."
Uh, thats not fair. John McCain needs to say whether or not he would get up and walk out of a service if Hagee said that. He also needs to explain why if he accepts Hagee's endorsement then everything Hagee utters means he "endorses it," just like the propaganda media did to Obama. Whats good for the goose...
Oh, yeah, where is the 24/7 breathless reporting of the propaganda media playing Hagee's remarks over and over again?

Although I could never bring myself to vote for McCain, I will concentrate on the House and Senate races and refrain from voting the top of the ticket should Hillary succeed with a coup. McCain can be held in check if we have sweeping majorities in the House and Senate, but with Hillary as our nominee, we risk losing our gains in picking up more seats. Hillary has proven what a tough mother f*cker (with huge brass balls and chest hair) she is and she resents the netroots. She's on her own.

John McCrazy is full of shit and should be HOUNDED by the media for Hagee's remarks.
Innocent people drowning, and McCrazy is OK with that?

The following is an good article by Arianna Huffington but she laments the self loathing liberal media. I don't think the Propaganda Media is liberal at all. It might have been, years ago, but its not liberal. Hiring Karl Rove, Tony Snow and Bill Kristol proves to me the Propaganda Media is just becoming unabashedly arrogant:
Good points about polling. Its always about the sample and the way the question is asked.

OlderAndWiser, dead poor people mean more tax dollars to funnel into the Corp Welfare system. The only regret McCrazy and his ilk have is not enough of them died. Wasn't Bush delayed in his photo-op in NO to cut cake at McCrazy's b-day party?

And another thing; lets get religion out of our politics. WTF cares what a politician's hick preacher thinks? Politicians, leave your damned religion at church on Sunday and tend to America's problems the rest of the week.

Here's a chart for a survey of NC Dems taken 4/24. The party chairman is Jerry Meek a progressive who won over Ed Turlington, the machine candidate, who was endorsed by party bigwigs, including Gov. Easley.
You also have to consider that quite a few morons voting for Hillary are Limpball Repukes who crossed over to vote for her in the primary... of course they are going to be voting for McSame no matter who the Dem candidate is.

ya know... I'm litereally growing to 'hate' hillary with every passing day of lies, spin and rovian twists.
if Obama were to let loose with ALL the target points she's accumulated over the years... hillary would be dead in the water. (think about it hillbots... how many nasty things has Obama said about hillary?)
Which tells me something about Obama's integrity.
That said, IF hillary pulls a coup and somehow manages to coerce enough superdelegates to her side... AND becomes the Democratic nominee for President.
I sure as HELL am NOT sitting home... OR voting for john mcsame!
I don't like her, AT ALL at this point... but having ANY Dem in the White House will change the course of this country for the better.

Pete, and a few Dixiecrat-like Dems who would never, ever, vote for a black man as well. I saw quite a few of those old women back in the womens movement 40 years ago...wow, a thought occurred to me. What if a black woman of the stature of Barbara Jordan was running against Clinton today?

Aside from the media bashing obama for a month straight? and the feeding frenzy is at it apex today!. But, that is one reason. Aside from that: I live in a blue collar mid west small city. What is driving the blue collar is the women, who feel that Hillary deserves the presidency after what Bill did to her with his affairs. the other is that alot of blue collar voters are older. the younger ones rarely vote in primaries. These older people see Hillary as bringing along Bill who will fix the economy. And Obama is 'too young' to them. Afterall, if Obama's mother lived, she would only be a couple years older than Hillary. Both his grandmothers are younger than McCain's mother. He is the age of the kids of many of these voters. And they think he's an upstart and needs to wait. It has nothing to do with the so called elitist thing or skin for many. If he was a white guy they would feel the same. Of course some would vote against him because of skin but, for the most part they are not really voting against him. But, if the media keeps up this race stuff it will turn off many. They will think they will have to listen to this crap for 4 years. They are not racist but, really don't want to talk about it. They want to know someone will fix the mess of Bush.

Two things, I want to know about that $10.000,000 by 100,000 donors Clinton is bragging about. Reports have stated the max a person can give $2300 and she reportedly has tapped her biggest donors, so who gave that amount of money. Hard to believe it was the $25 type.
Secondly, she reportedly had 9 million in cash with a 10 million dollar debt. So basically her "donors" paid her outstanding debt (I am betting she still didn't pay her bills) and that only leaves 9 million to carry on the battle in the remaining states.
vwcat, I have to disagree. JFK was only 43 when he was elected.
And I'm 67 and an Obama supporter. I want young blood, not the status quo.

Hey fellow A-bloggers! Its Andrew Rice's birthday. His birthday is today, and he is trying to unseat the national embarassment Senator Jim Inhofe here in Oklahoma. Show him some love! Since Andrew is turning 35 today, its suggested we give $35.00
From DailyKos:
"Before his election to the state senate, he received a master’s degree in theology, worked with the Texas Freedom Network, founded the Progressive Alliance Foundation, and performed other humanitarian work abroad. After his brother, David, was killed on 9/11 in the World Trade Center, Andrew became heavily involved in the push for the creation of the 9/11 Commission and worked with victims’ family groups in opposing the Iraq War, citing it as a distraction from the fight to destroy the terrorist networks that killed his brother.
Dear voters, Do you realize the media is memory holing McCain's first wife Carol while fearmongering about Obama knowing people that aren't white? Hillary's "10 million dollars" is money that wasn't given to our senate and house candidates. Piggy media like Pat Buchanan still using the "elite" talking point and dead intern treasure hunter Joe Scarborough being Hillary's wingman. Fuck Air America for carrying David Gregory's bumpkinite show at 6pm

In a sign of Senator Obama’s broad, statewide organization, the Obama campaign today announced the endorsement of 43 North Carolina mayors, mayors pro tem, and former mayors, representing cities large and small, from Raleigh to Roper. To encourage North Carolinians to vote early, more than a dozen of these mayors will be voting early today at 1 p.m. at their local One Stop Early Voting locations.
I'd like the propaganda media to introduce us to John McCain's first wife, Carol. We need to hear her side of the story...

Right now, the answers to this question mean less than nothing. Of course Clinton's supporters won't vote for him, right now, they'll be pissed if she loses.
The bigger point is that these polls underestimate the number of Obama supporters who would say they would desert Clinton. Why should Obama supporters worry about an eventuality that won't happen. He's winning. They're confident he will win. What do you lose by saying you will vote for a candidate in November when that candidate isn't on the ballot.
Come August, or even this summer, if Obama is clearly ahead, and Clinton doesn't go back to whatever state she's claiming as home this week, the refusing to vote for Clinton will shoot up, and Clinton's will likely decline.

We must ask Hillary, "why did you sit still and not leave when Bill cheated on you for 20 years?" "Why didn't you stand up and leave (like Bar

When I first decided to support Obama I decided that if Clinton won the nomination via the supers that I would still hold my nose and vote for her. I am a middle aged, white mother of two. The same, I am afraid would not be the choice of the thousands upon thousands of new and young Obama supporters. In that case I don't think they will vote at all.
I have now decided that if Clinton continues her "scorched earth" policy and ends up with the nomination that I will vote a straight Democratic ticket with the exception of Presidential contest. NO-I will not vote for McCain. I will vote for neither and hope that we end up with a veto proof majority in the event that McCain does win.
All the energy of the next generation will have been squandered by the Clintons in their pursuit of power. And if she does lose the general election you can bet I will remember when 2012 rolls around and she tries again.....
