One of my favorites! Beats listening to that TN delusionist, Chip Saltsman, who is on CSPAN lobbying for RNC head. They understand NOTHING about what has happened lately.

OMG do you think that the Obama administration will bring a resurgence of joy, gusto and public celebration in this country? That our culture will come out of the deep slough of despond (an old fashioned term for Prozac and Paxil and Elavil) into which the Reagan Bush years have shoveled us?
That young people will once again experience the freedom of youth and hope for the future, as well as a helping hand into real careers with real pay and benefits from those a generation ahead of them? That seniors will be at peace about handing over the reins? Will we once again move, as a nation, to music?

Thanks, Chris! Great music to get me started before I have to do some mind-numbing work!

Me too! I never expected society to revert into musicless repression. I thought the times had changed for good---never expecting Hegel's dialectic to screech to a complete halt....start crawling backward....creeping... Maybe it's just me....

That's one of my favorite moments in film history... right up there`with Pee Wee dancing at the biker bar:

Ms. Aretha Franklin is the queen of rock and soul!

I hope that she lives forever.
