AMERICAblog: Axelrod blasts Cheney - why is al Qaeda still around after 8 years?

  • EmGD · 7 months ago
You have to think Axelrod loves these easy ones. He can take time off from working on complex problems to go do a couple easy lay-ups.

"What's that? Dick Cheney criticized our foreign policy vis-a-vis terrorism? Rahm, tell a staffer to go fill the barrel full of fish and to bring me my shotgun and shooting hat."

Another question is, why isn't Cheney supremely embarrassed for propigating this myth after he's been caught by the American people for his factless diatribe? I suppose when you shoot someone in the face and have the victim apologize to you, you would have no shame.

It is truly amazing how far one can go with absolutely no sense of shame, nor any connection to reality. :)
  • woodroad34 · 7 months ago
Exactly. Why be hindered by reality? It's so much nicer, albeit darker and morose, in his own little world.

Good for him! These are the kinds of statements I want to hear from our side!

If it were the DEM president who failed in 8 years to get rid of al qaeda, good god it's all we would hear about.

A question that Axelrod (and others) should be asking the press:
"After the last 8 years, why do Dick Cheney's opinions carry any weight with anyone?"

timothy mcveigh was giving interviews right up until his execution. people need to know what goes on in a criminal mind.

Could we PLEASE execute Chaney for war crimes SOON so I can have the laugh I deserve after eight years?...

"Why are they still in business?"

Because they were so useful to the Republicans politically.

Why, when they had bin Laden cornered at Tora Bora, did we make such a half-assed effort to get him?
  • Joneses · 7 months ago
Because Cheney and his comrades don't care about the American people nor the country, only their pockets and purses and whatever $$ they can get a hold of.

Since fear worked for 8 years why not now. Fear, upon fear, scare the crap out of everybody because fear will keep the masses subduded.
  • potegavscina · 7 months ago
Maybe the Iraq war has something to do with that?

Q: Why is al Qaeda still around?

    A: The Iraq War.

    Cheney is such a Dick.

and may we dare to ask Mr. Cheney........"Where the f*ck is Osama bin Ladin??????????
  • orion7747 · 7 months ago
They're still around because they wanted them around so they could sell more fear.
