AMERICAblog: Bank of England slams bank bonus culture of excess

  • tbhull · 1 year ago
Rumor has it that as many as 400 US banks will fail. The turd polishers are working on maitaining/restoring confidence in our monetary system. All options are possible, but banks will fail.

Anyone see Billary on O'reilly? She lied her ass off and Bill slammed her down hard on her failed plan to force socialized medicine on everyone. She is so elitist she doesn't even know how to operate a cappuccino machine or chill a vintage Chianti. I hate the witch : http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/05/01/hillar...

Mervyn King, Director of the Bank of England said that, did he? Alan Greenspan, Aynrandian extraordinaire, recently said that Wall Street's troubles were based on greed. That's quite a pack of moralists we're looking at. For a chaser, maybe Pope NaziRat will condemn genocide or Barbara Bush will give a talk to the DAR about why we should guarantee health insurance for all citizens.

Yes, hindsight is said to always be 20/20 -- but this is a stellar example of too little, too late. It does no damn good to finally lock the barn door only *after* all the cattle have already been rustled and turned into ground round...

I assume everyone on this blog is prepped for that; right, TB? Buy some guns so you can defend yourself for those who aren't.

400 banks failing is not a collapse and no need for guns, just descriptive of a big problem coming home to roost.

    Busboy, are you a banker?
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
No, tb, I'm an "oily". We get to make some money about once every 10 or 15 years. What's your status?
BTW, I do hope the ridiculous price of oil goes down because my neighbors are suffering.

Texas lawyer that knows a thing or two about banking and oil.

Glad to meet you, tb. Geologist here. Don't know if we have the same take on things; but, I'm always willing to listen to everyone's opinion. My job is simple: find and produce oil. Your job is more complex.
