And yet, McCain wants to continue the ineptitude of Bush...Birds of a Feather? La Cage Aux Folles?
Oh, and in case there's someone out there who doesn't think Bush is the stupidest thing in the world...ABC News reports that Bush appointee Ashcroft royally screwed the early FBI Anthrax investigations back in 2001: http://www.abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=5276...

No argument on Bush woodroad34, but I am unwilling to give unlimited credence to anything from ABC as long as they keep those biased incompotent clowns GIbson and Stephanopoulos on their payroll, but then what network wouldn't be much better off without its bimbos? Thanks for the item re Ashcroft, another pitiful example of Bush's failure, more concerned about draping classical statues than prosecuting criminals or perhaps overseeing the correct criteria for hiring assistant attornies general. Yes, have no doubts, Insane McCain wants to be McBush3 despite all his flip-flops, this broken wreck of a man, if elected, would be an even worse president than Bush and that is just too horrible to contemplate!

Well, as I mentioned on another thread, as an example of how dangerous McShrub will be, a Republican senator is talking about a diplomatic mission to Nicaragua that he and McShrub were involved with in 1987 when McShrub beat up a Noriega Aide: http://apnews.excite.com/article/20080702/D91LP....
Could you imagine what this psychopath would do as President? Hardly someone you'd want as an ambassador to the world.

It is difficult to contemplate a president worse than Bush who has wrought so much national destruction upon us. It amazes me than any voter could even consider more of the same. Fool me three times???????or perhaps another election can be stolen.

OT Just saw McShame getting on plane to head to Mexico. His two little "puppy dogs" were with him, Lieberman & Graham. Every time I see Lieberman I want to throw up. Why is Reid letting him get by with this? He is a traitor to the party. But Reid is too. He sits back and lets a lot get by that we probably don't even know. If the Democrats get control of the House and the Senate in November I hope the first thing they do is kick Lieberman in the ass and strip him of his chairs. But we know they won't. Lieberman will come strutting back and take over like he is a loyal Democrat and we should all forget what he has done. And by the way, McShame is no hero.

The dems got control of both houses in November '06.

Wrong. Real control is when the Republican numbers don't allow them to frustrate every vote as they have done since the last election. Real control is effective control and the numbers dictate that.

Just as them Democrats did when the Republicans had a slim majority in the early 2000's? Politicians with agendas exist on both sides of the aisle, and while I agree with your statement that the numbers dictate real and effective control, either party having a supermajority would do no good for anyone. It will only be when elected officials think for themselves and have the courage to vote based on the issue at hand, not the party's stance.

Don't worry about Benedict Lieberman. He will be done when Obama and the Democratic Party get real control over the government. Harry Reid is simply awaiting the time when the Lieberman vote is no longer needed to get an agenda going.
