Pelosi and Reid need to begin impeachment proceedings. we can't wait until January to have him go. We need to put his ass and all his enablers into prison. Rove, Rice, Powell, Meirs, Gonzalez, Chertoff, Brownie, Hastert, Boehner, DeLay and a special spot in the water boarding suite for Cheney. This imposter as a human being has to be put away until his skin falls off.

How the GOP plans to win:
6. Fan the fear: Ignore the critics, Republican wise men say — there is still no better way to win than to stir up concerns about Democratic patriotism and their commitment to national security and killing terrorists. It often remains the best call in the GOP playbook, especially with McCain atop the ticket.
Republican officials privately urge lawmakers to whack their opponents whenever they can for worrying more about coddling terrorist suspects than condemning them, failing to support U.S. troops, exhibiting weakness in dealing with dictators, and rushing to a quick Iraq exit that could put U.S. servicemen and women at risk. Polls still show GOP strength on national security and fighting terrorism — at least when compared with their lousy numbers on domestic issues.
Today the GOP voted down the Webb bill to provide an education for the troops. They cited the cost and that it was unwise financially. WTF does it say about these people "supporting the troops" when they don't feel their sacrifice is worthy of giving them an education so they can provide for their families. These are the same assholes who fought against a pay raise for the troops, but passed a bill 6 years ago to give themselves automatic pay raises every year without the need for Congressional approval. God they are disgusting, vile, base human garbage.

I am glad this situation is finally making the news. Blind support for Israel is not in the US National Interest. Israel has 200 nuke weapons, they can fend for themselves quite well...or they can learn to behave in their neighborhood.

Go, Joe, go. This is no time for a measured response. What the Little Man from Crawford said is reprehensible and should be condemned for the vile garbage it is. Bullshit it is.

George Bush is creating chaos, the likes of which have never been seen in this country. He has disenfranchised America from most of the rest of the world but it hasn't ended yet. He is now going to create an ethnic chaos never, ever been seen before. WE all know the man is stupid but one has too think in larger terms.
How was one man granted enough power to create this kind of chaos?

Do I remember a bit of a conspiracy theory from several years back that Bush was really a puppet president being controlled by some secretive uber-conservative group bent on world domination? Seems they've lost control if thats the case.

You go, Joe!!! Well said and long overdue. Hope more Democrats and perhaps even some Republicans (if there are any with a back-bone) will speak up and tell the President what a fool he is and how much trouble he has caused with statements such as this. The Republicans will pay a high price at the polls for continuing to back this mad man in the White House.

This is a beautiful statement by Biden, but as with EVERY SINGLE smear the rightwing puts out there, we are in a defensive position. They float these outrageous statements out there and we are always reacting. I wish for once one of our own would really tell it like it is and be FIRST.

Make a clear threat here. We want a public apology from Bush and McCain publicly rebuking King George's rant. If they fail to do so, then the Democrats will start publicly criticizing Bush and McCain in foreign lands.
The statement should be: "Traditionally, politics ends at the shores of this nation. It has always been done this way so that political attacks before foreign groups would not undermine an office holder or a candidate for that office should he/she be successful. It is obvious that McCain and the Republican party have decided to use President Bush to undermine a candidate for the office of the presidency before a foreign legislative group. We can only presume that the purpose was a blatant attempt to render that person unelectable by inviting foreign governments to take a position against that candidate or to publicly poison that candidate's reputation with certain foreign governments. We will no longer be constrained by past practices. We have all seen the lies, distortions and politics of expediency as conducted by Bush and the Republican party. We will not let the "Party of the Politics of Fear" win this most important election by engaging in the filthy gutter politics as has been their past practice."
We need to go on the offensive. This type of response would show that the Democrats are willing to go toe to toe with the Republicans.

So where is the outrage? It was shallow and unbecoming of Bush, as an American, President to stand at the Knesset, and lie about a US Senator. First of all, he said he was not going to interfere in the Presidential race, now he has the audacity to lie about a Preditential candidate.
The Dixie Chicks got hell from the Bush pro war supporters, when they said they were ashamed of Bush, when they were overseas. This is worse. Bush is the President, and he was certainly not at a concert. I dislike these people, they are an embarrassment to this country.
