AMERICAblog: Biden challenges Palin to come out of hiding and answer questions

  • forwhomthebelltolls · 1 year ago
She is going on an interview with Gibson this week in Alaska
  • ShirleyGoodnessanMercy · 1 year ago
I hope the media will ask Palin when she will start the book burnings at the Library of Congress.

With her history of trying to ban books and fire her town librarian for refusing to ban books, you know she must have wet dreams of piles of liberal and non-fundamentalist books going up in flames.

Where the Hell have they been?

All they have to say that they understand the GOP and how everyone already knows that sometimes they have to take time off to interfere with ethics investigation........and go on to say that Bush does it 2 or 3 times a week!

    This is STUPID!
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Maybe she's off building an igloo of silence.

I don't blame her for being quiet.......the media seems to be making her case for her....except for the lying.

They'll keep her at the forefront.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
It's all fun and games until someone brings up the fact that you were blowing you husband's business partner.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
    Did you see this today?

McCain Inc is alive and well.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Did she leave that money from the "Bridge to Nowhere" in Minneapolis?

She never did give it back and there's a bridge there that needs rebuilt.
  • misterblister · 1 year ago
Right now the GOP is cramming Sarah full of "facts", talking points and catchphrases in order to stand up to the rest of the campaign's rigors. I think the press is ready to play "gotcha" and don';t count out the National Enquirer and other media outlets digging out some more corruption. She could end up being the next Spiro Agnew.

By the time of the Biden debate on Oct. 2, if she isn't off the ticket by then, she will explode and make some big mistakes. If Biden stays "respectful" and calmly calls her "Governor Palin" while he slices her thin, it will be the best reality show evah!
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Why Obama and Biden on TV right now offering up reasons that Palin needs to be staying away from the cameras.

If she doesn't owe us anything, tell her to give back the money for that bridge to nowhere.

Was selling that airliner for a loss indicitive of how she's planning to run the economy?

Supposedly, they've agreed to an interview with Charlie Gibson this next week. In Newsweek:
    http://www.newsweek.com/id/157748

I'll believe it when I see it. Just what are the details of this agreement? Pre-approved questions to protect the little delicate pit-bull? Oh, I just noticed it's from AP & posted at Newsweek. Could be more propaganda from AP.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Rest assured Charlie will be as star-struck as if she were Mother Teresa mixed with J.Lo. Think of a cartoon wolf: eyes popping in and out, tongue unrolling and slathered with spittle.
  • Kansaskitty · 1 year ago
    That's quite a picture!
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
we're supposed to trust a woman to deal with life and death international diplomacy and high-level domestic policy making, and she won't even let anyone ask her a question.

no wonder her unwed, underage daughter got pregnant.
  • mmedefarge · 1 year ago
    good one!
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Nicolle Devenish Wallace: "Interviews? We don' need no stinkin' interviews!" Only Obama has to give interviews, with certified mediawhores like Stephanie, because America still doesn't "feel comfortable" with him after 18+ months. Whereas Momma Sarah is already known and beloved by real, normal Americans and doesn't need to be insulted and grilled by a sexist media machine.
  • MsContrarian · 1 year ago
Throughout the campaign season, I've observed that the media in general and certainly the "public" has set the bar much higher for Obama - particularly when compared to McCain and now certainly Palin.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Maybe she's just out wondering why it's none of our business that she intends to vote for Ted Stevens in November.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
How can she be concerned about making a mistake? Bush says he can't remember any.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
    Hey Barack.
John McCain is lying about your tax proposals.
You just gonna let that go or what?
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
That's what I don't get. he's got enough ammo to win in a landslide and he's refusing to use it.

Sounds like Pelosi and Hoyer have already told him who they have picked.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
She teaches so many GOP talking points at home that her son enlisted on 9/11 and will deployed on 9/11.

I guess we can mention his deployment date seeing how sarah already tipped off the enemy.

Sounds like something Diane Downs would have done.

    Ever see "Small Sacrifices"?

    I love you Blogging Bitch!
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Does she intend to sell the U.S. to China for $.70 on the Dollar?

Best I can tell, it's the best math she's offered.....

Except for multiplying......she can do that. Her daughter is off to a good start as well.
  • Andyz · 1 year ago
Porky Palin sez... Kill 'n Drill! It's the American way! And thanks for the "Bridge to Nowhere", $uckers!
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
How many times did you have dinner with John McCain before being picked as his VP, Mrs. Palin?

he must know you're a good cook.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
I know she wouldn't choose abortion in the case of incest or rape....

But would she at least charge Mark Foley $10 in ethicd violation fines for blowing the children? Even if the Congressman was a member of her own party?

Palin to talk with ABC in the "coming week."

I don't know if this was posted yet, but there's some prayin' goin' on ----

"Christians pray for...."for the imminent death of John McCain so they can bring on the right wing goodness of President Sarah Palin all the sooner."

all this hiding out and avoiding questions...what happened to the pit bull in lipstick?

don't you know that if a GOPer makes a mistake, they just look you in the eye and lie their ass off? and poof! no problemo.
  • Cornelius20 · 1 year ago
Solid swipe at Palin's disappearing act, but I want to see more of Joe "Attack Dog" Biden and less of what we're seeing. I'm sure Biden is following Obama's lead on this one, but we're rapidly reaching a point where he needs to take on her lack of qualifications and her ethically challenged actions as 1/2 term governor of the 4th smallest state in the union.

As for all the panicky chicken littles here and elsewhere (regardless of whether you honestly are in panic mode or not): cut that sh*te out already. Stop complaining about Obama and Biden and volunteer your time (and money, if you have some) to BO's election.

I'm confident Obama will win in November, but he needs all the help he can get. We, meaning all of us dedicated to progressive causes, can't stand by, do nothing , and whine about every dip in the polls over the next two months. To echo Obama, "Enough."
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
Rick Davis says Palin won't speak with reporters until she feels comfortable.

How gallant they are, to protect the little lady like that.

I don't think McBush gives a shit whether she can debate the issues or not. She was strictly a political ploy to lure the christofascists. Who cares if she can think on her feet.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Davis says he won't allow her to do interviews unless and until the MSM show proper DEFERENCE, his exact word, to the Queen.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
that pisses me off. deference my ass.

we're the ones who have to decide if we're comfortable with HER. She owes the American public some g-d deference...

McBush/Palin is all about them them them. They don't give a crap about this country or anyone in it.
  • dc20008 · 1 year ago
How is it possible that the person a heartbeat from the presidency on November 5 could be hidden from scrutiny just prior to the election??

Could Hillary get away with that???????
  • WDemDem · 1 year ago
WHY do they keep saying things like "she's a smart, tough politician"? WHY?? All McCain and Palin have done is ridicule Obama. THIS is how the Dems lose elections! We can't afford to lose another one because they're afraid of this sexist bullshit the GOP is chiding them with.
  • ezpz · 1 year ago
I'm with you there. It's VERY unsettling to hear them giving her or mcshame ANY complements, left handed, prequalifying ('he's a hero, bla bla bla'), or otherwise.

    "ENOUGH!"

Also, I was really disappointed when Biden said with a big grin on his face "good line" of Palin's mocking of community organizers. VERY disappointed that he didn't bring attention to how low the gop went when they insulted countless people AND contradicted themselves (their pleas for service, faith based programs, etc.)

Biden could have said simply that this kind of mockery crossed a line, but no, instead he says 'good line'.
  • shrrrr · 1 year ago
I agree. I want to throwup when I hear any kind of praise for her, especially from our guys. Please stop it.
  • LisaLV711 · 1 year ago
And you forgot one other thing, "She's popular." Are we voting for Homecoming Queen or President of the United States. I don't give a damn about her being popular. So she was "Employee of the Month". Nice touch, but not enough to run the country. We have "Employee of the Month" at the courthouse, but not one of them has ever run for Justice of the Peace. Maybe they should! Just a thought.
  • hardeknox · 1 year ago
You can't touch her. She was a POW. Okay, would you believe a MILF? PTA? DBA? XYL? YWCA?
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
I'm glad to see Biden swinging and connecting. He needs to watch a loop of the RNC where when John McCain talked about service to country and described ways people could help it was mostly crickets, but when he pivoted to "FIGHT WITH ME! FIGHT WITH ME!" McCain brought down the house. It proves Republicans, and those in the confused middle, respect FIGHTERS. They don't want to do any work or service! They want to sit back, and fight against their fellow Americans so they can continue to tell "the little people" what to do and how to do it! They want to "FIGHT WITH SARAH PALIN!" to institute their version of Levitical laws into our constitution. Its all about "doing as I say, not as I do" with them and we need to beat them over the head with it.
  • shrrrr · 1 year ago
The fact that she has lasted a week indicates to me that the Republican Party, the fourth estate, and even some in the Democratic Party have effectively become emenies of the state. If we are supposed to believe in the concept of country first, and I do, how is it possible pure evil can rise to this level while so many witness it with praise and/or acceptence? Our once great nation is on the verge of ushering in the Dark Ages and I'm grateful my proud American parents are not alive to see it. I hope they all rot in hell.
  • benb · 1 year ago
If Palin is a "smart, tough politician" as Joe Biden says, why isn't she out among us giving press interviews and answering their questions? We need to know how she thinks and we won't get that from a press release, a scripted speech or a Faux news interview.
  • LisaLV711 · 1 year ago
Does the McCain campaign really feel they deserve the Presidency without putting forth any ideas on how to make your life better and by shunning the media? Who are these people and what do they really stand for?
  • SDBear · 1 year ago
Sarah Palin: Ready on Day 21, Day 22 latest. Or 23. Maybe 24. OK, the first day of autumn, we promise. Absolutely no later than Halloween.
  • LisaLV711 · 1 year ago
How can we make it more clear to Stupid Sarah. NONE OF WHICH YOU SPEW IS TRUE! DO YOUR HOMEWORK, GIRL AND STOP READING SPEECHES BUSH HAS WRITTEN FOR YOU! By putting down the very people in Congress, i.e, Senator Reid, that could help you as you return to Alaska, you have messed that up. MC INSANE IS WRONG AND HAS BEEN WRONG SINCE THE DAY HE LEFT VIET NAM! GET IT! POW -- THAT WAS 50 YEARS AGO!!! GET OVER IT!
  • LisaLV711 · 1 year ago
And one other thing, Stupid Sarah, John McAin't Liked has been in Washington DC for 26 of those do nothing years. What has he done? Have you asked him, because heaven knows you have never read a newspaper or watched a news program in all YOUR life, surely you don't know.
  • MsContrarian · 1 year ago
You know, since the the republican convention - which incidentally, from a demographic perspective, did NOT mirror the country, I've been thinking about the future and how history unrolls. Since I don't trust many pundits and MSM types to properly hold McCain and Palin's feet to the fire (as they have been doing to Obama for MONTHS), it does seem conceivable that McCain could actually "win" in November. Okay, so the thing is, demographically and culturally, the country is changing - eventually the republicans will find themselves and their party squarely in opposition to the majority of Americans who will be increasingly multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and non-religious.

Palin, all lipstick and no bulldog.
