John, if I donate though Ablog does it do anything for you? I have been donating directly to his email requests (I only send him money if he, Barack, asks me himself ;)).

Even if Barack himself asks me, no, I wouldn't donate. I'll tell you why. When Barack speaks directly to the American people and promises that he will prosecute these war criminals and criminals, thieves, liars, traitors, hypocrites, serial and mass murderers, when he swears they won't get away with it, then maybe I'll be inclined to believe he is really, really different. When he promises not to give away our nation to the corporations, to giving tax cuts to the rich, powerful, politically connected and again, the corporations, maybe I'll believe he means it when he says, "Change you can believe in." And when he cares for the poor, hungry and homeless as much as he cares about seeing the members of Congress and our government getting awesome, free health care, I will believe he is liberal and progressive. When every American soldier is home from overseas deployment, then I will believe he doesn't beieve and support American imperialism. Obama is a Black man and if he wins, it will be a giant step for American blacks, but I would like him work seriously and tirelessly ending discrimination against everyone, not only Blacks, but also against Hispanics, Orientals, Jews, Arabs, Muslims, immigrants, women and children and those who live different lifestyles.

And, I'd like to see white collar criminals treated with the same degree of justice that blue collar criminals are, that is If someone who robs a bank of 10,000 dollars is sentenced to 10 years, then I'd like to see SOBs like Abrimoff also serve long, long harsh prison sentences. And those murderers who cut off power and utilities in the winter or overcharge so people can't afford pay and freeze to death should be charged with murder 1.

The reality is deregulation was actually decriminalization, that is, it took many, many vicious, greedy, deliberate white collar crimes and made them legal. Also, the goddamn politicians kniew they were giving the criminals the green light to prey on Americans and yet deliberately did so, not only with relief, but laughing at the plight of the common people.

As much as I'd like to donate to the cause, I find myself a victim of our faltering economy. The company I was working for went out of business this summer and at 58, I'm having trouble finding another job. To top it off, I received an $826 school tax bill today that is due in October. Hopefully, the lucky people that still have jobs and aren't in the same boat as I am, will help Obama out...

This is a documents that the DEMOCRATS did in 2006 about Sarah Palin before she was elected Governor.
Seems or VP nominee at one time did believe in contraception AND abortion in cases where the mother's life was in danger. Not now. And what do we call this???? Flip flop!!
These are all documents with fairly extensive references from newspapers or documents. It is 63 pages long but take it in stages.
She sounds like a female Tom Delay. Ahe is not a fiscal conservative. She also does not take a strong stand on issues, lets an idea float till she ahe's how its going to go with the voters.
It is well worth the read. She is someone you do not want behind your back. It seems that anyone that helped her she walks all over.

The Dems will win by a massive, massive landslide. The question is, will Obama win. As I said before, the only issue that floats McCain's boat is race otherwise McCain would sink like lead. But, Obama can't even mention it or the issue will sink him.

I'm on disability,but I managed to send Barack $100.00.Its the first time I have given to a candidate in my 63 years.I wish I had more to give,but that was out of my tax return and I didn't get a stimulis check because I'm on disabilty.

I set up a monthly auto-donation for 100 bucks every month between now and the election. I hope, this time, it does the country some good. We cannot have another 4 years of Republican misrule.
