Oh, there's that pesky history, again...

nah u cant say so. the clintons re from arkansas. Trinity church in chicago is mainly black business. Despite Obama, Oprah Winfrey for example, the lady who got recently electrocuted by Tom Cruise. Despite, I wanted to get rid of my questions concerning this great Tibetan uprising.

Chinese troops converge in Tibetan areas

I don't understand why the fuck the Tibetans and Dalai picked this point of time to protest.
    (1) Communist party summit in Peking. Reaction will be swift.
    (2) The Olympics aren't far away any more. Face loss is especially in Asian countries very despicable.
    (3) Raw material prices are high right now and Tibet got many of them.
    (4) Well, in fact, Tibet is currently pretty much underpopulated and the Chinese army is pretty much overpopulated and got nothing to do. Its a masterpiece of provocation.
(5)Another point is that inflation reached in China 8.7% and the Chinese government will use this conflict to strengthen its currency

Is this Mrs Clinton and Mr Wright at the breakfast prayer table? Did the Clintons pray that day with pastor Wright?

It is interesting that Joe Scarborough dismissed this photo on the Today Show (at the prompting by Matt Lauer) and both concluded it was a rookie mistake by the Obama camp. They also latched on to Obama's use of "typical white person" (here is NRO's take on it: http://campaignspot.nationalreview.com/post/?q=... ) in a response to a call-in show.
I think it is fair game since the Clinton camp apparently tried to dangle Obama's Wright connections over the Superdelegates to make him look unelectable. This really is a gamble, in my humble opinion. Thank you for listening.
  • AngelaChanning · 1 year ago
Clarification: I meant it was fair game for the Obama camp to use the photo of Clinton and Wright was fair game. Sorry, tea has not kicked in yet. :-)
  • Nigel Elliott · 1 year ago
Mika and Joe were at each other's throat over Obama's "typical white" grandma comments that were taken out of context on purpose.
How sad we're having a chat about race in 2008. That conversation is generations overdue.
  • Nigel Elliott · 1 year ago
Apparently, the infamous Wright sermon was a hack mash up edited by Fox News new "analyst", Karl Rove.

  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
Cheeez, if all the typical white people had to leave their churches because of racist comments by their pastors, a lot of those churches would be completely empty.

I'm sick that the hypocrisy continues about race. A lot of typical white people will never look themselves in the mirrors and ask for repentence for their racism.
  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
How many typical white people pray every day, "Lord, thank you for not making me black and giving me my white superiority." I'm sure it's especially true of all those who deny evolution...
  • iggy · 1 year ago
Holy crap, John, who cares? I'm for Obama, but this is the sort of thing I expect to read on the wingnutosphere.

Who cares if Bill Clinton talked to Wright, or if Hillary was home when Bill got his blowjob? Really, your anger at Hillary is making you lose it.
  • Nigel Elliott · 1 year ago
Excuse me, but this photo is relevant because Hillary is using the Wright controversy to persuade super delegates she is more electable come November.

Next will the Clintons will throw Martin King under a bus?

  • John Aravosis · 1 year ago
Actually, it's relevant on its face because Hillary's team is pushing the story about Obama's contacts with Wright. If Bill Clinton also had substantive contacts with Wright, to the point of asking Wright for his forgiveness, or whatever, over Monica, then it's highly relevant that while the Clinton's are treating Wright as one of the top spiritual leaders in the country they're also dissing him as an America hater. To the extent Wright and Obama is news, this is news.
  • Jcooz · 1 year ago
So, John, you're going to use republican talking points (guilt by association) to discredit Hillary because her campaign is going to 'push' this story? How low do YOU have to sink, John? You're a hypocrite. You want to attack Hillary for her 'dirty' campaign, but use republican tactics to do so. Pathetic.
  • Demo_Dave · 1 year ago
How silly Obama set in that church clapping to hate sermons for 20 years. Let me get this straight if you commit a crime it's not your fault it is the person who exposed you....Yep that will makes us middle of the road Democrats feel better when we have to decide in in November. Just remember you NEED our votes and at this point your blog is just preaching to the choir.
  • sbhdawn · 1 year ago
you're right, but have you noticed that none of the phony gossip tabloid news networks have hardly even mentioned this, and they say how hard they have been on her, give me a break!! She has had a easy ride, compared to Barack!
  • CoralGables · 1 year ago
I have to agree with you. As an obvious pro-Obama site we have now gone thru six anti-Hillary threads since the last pro-Obama thread.

I don't know what the rehab period is for a blog that has jumped the proverbial shark but the anti-Hillary addiction running through the veins has become blatantly obvious. It makes one wonder if Obama is the candidate of choice, or the candidate of choice is "Anyone but Hillary". Very sad indeed.
  • John Aravosis · 1 year ago
Has become blatantly obvious? I think we made pretty clear a month ago that we think Hillary is out to destroy the entire party. So yeah, you'd better believe we're going to do everything we can to stop her.
  • sbhdawn · 1 year ago
What has Hillary been through lately that even compares to what they have thrown at Barack?? She is the one that is bringing up questions and accusations. Barack has only tried to explain, and he actually should be asking them more questions than he has! I was going to vote for her in the beginning, but when she got to be so obviously vicious and back-biting, I turned against her because her character.
  • sbhdawn · 1 year ago
In view of all the scrutiny Barack is getting, fair is fair, and it is fair to ask the Clintons qluestions too?? Are they suppose to be treated differently, than Barack is being treated?? They are mud-slinging, and being sneaky, Barack has been honest and decent, but these questions raised are logical questions. Surely we have the right to ask the Clintons a few questions too, don't we??
  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
Bill Clinton will be in Charlotte, NC today to bribe some bankers into bankrolling Hillary...the public isn't invited.
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
Seems the official in charge in the Department where Obama's passport records were searched was a Clinton appointee as Ambassador to Paraguay. She retired in early March.
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/03/21/maura-...

Also important to note that in March a member of Hillary's campaign made reference to his limited European travel and that he has only been to one NATO country. Funny this was just after the first two explorations of Obama's files.

    http://campaignspot.nationalreview.com/

Coincidence or just another day grasping at straws.
  • GrantinHouston · 1 year ago
If the snooping was done to benefit the Clintons, no wonder it may have been kept hushed at the lowest levels....NO Inspector General called in, and Condi Rice never informed. As much as it looks like Bush, Jr. may have emulated his father's doing the same to Bill Clinton in 1992, this may not necessarily be a Republican dirty trick. Remember Bill is just as slippery as Karl Rove.
  • sbhdawn · 1 year ago
Yes, you are so right. MY first thoughts of this was, the Clintons are behind this, and they probably had someone check into Hillary's and McCain's too, just to make it look like they couldn't have been involved!!
Why haven't they made more of that Clinton, Wright picture. They had to have approved of him in order for him to be with them. I wasn't ever with them, sotthey had to have been somewhat involved with him. Also, I just saw a video of the pastor preaching love in a gentle way, and it is not on CNN!!

This is just silly if the Obama campaign wants to compare a photo-op to sitting in the Rev. Wrights Pews for decades they need to get a grip. This is like spitting a fire to put it out. I don't think the left wingnuts have any clue how this makes just plain ole American middle of the road people feel when they see this kind of hate from the alter of a church.

Your post is so ludicrously fictional that it ranks with Fox News reports. You are pitifully clueless about the Prayer Breakfasts at the Capitol and White House and their fundamentally political nature. These events are staged mainly to buttress the attendees' reputation for piety and only secondarily for religion. You infer that Wright's attendance meant that he and his views were scrutinized and approved by the Clintons. In reality religious figures are approved on the basis of the benefits they bring to the organizers or recommendation of elected politicians. The secret service will review the list of proposed invitees for their threat potential, but no staff can afford to spend the hundreds - even thousands - of hours to read sermon transcripts, books, and magazine articles by and about potential guests.

Guilt by association is the oldest political trick in the book . Candidates - and their media supporters - who use it deserve to be discredited. For someone who claims to have lived in Washington for 20 years you don't seem to know much about the conduct of political life.
  • sbhdawn · 1 year ago
CNN and all other phony gossip news networks will not hardly talk about this picture of Clintons and Wright, and there is another Rev. video, where he is preaching tolove your fellow man, but they don't seem to have that one, but tonight they showed another video that was controversial too!! Boy, they are out to get BArack!! Here are 2 videos they will not play or talk about this Clinton, Wright picture. We all need to e-mail these Enquirer news gossip networks!!! They have waaaaaaaaaaaaaay tttooooooooooo much POWER !!!!
