How about posting some pro Obama articles or anti McCain articles, or something about the zillions of important things going on in the world. How can she NOT be forced out after this. The lies of the first order (her deceit about the trip itself) were awful enough considering how the Clintons dealt with the former Yugoslavia -- please investigate their foot dragging with the people of Sarejevo, a group of whom who were represented by my former law prof...the real story is quite ugly and reminds one of Rwanda, sadly). That PATTERN of duplicity was shocking, but it is compounded by this now well established, second PATTERN of speciousness conducted by herself and her campaign. These, "It only was a misstatement," lines are second order fabrication: lying about at previous instance of dishonesty. Finally, to put this far beyond the pale, we have the hubris and condescension on Bill Clinton's part to impugn other people.
The press has to take her down. No one else would be allowed to get away with this. This, should referred to the Senate Ethics Committee where she should be censured. The behavior of the Clinton campaign is making the Democrats appear just as disingenuous as Bush's GOP. Honestly, this is going beyond damage to simply her or Obama, needs to be dealt with. She may be causing irrevocable harm to the Democrats in November. The implications for such egregious misconduct are far reaching.
In the long run it would be a better move for Democrats to rebuke the Clinton campaign now, even if such a rebuke would fracture the party in the short term.

I am burned out of Clinton stories. Yeah, yeah I get it she is not the candidate that can lead us out of this mess. I want more Obama stories. By focusing on the Clintons you are allowing them to control the message. How about focusing on the candidate we want to win?

NPR had someone commenting that the reason that China and India have had such massive success in growing their economy is that their universities are producing 10s of millions of engineers every year. In contrast, in this nation, the conservatives and right wing are doing their best to prevent as many as possible from graduating from college as they are too stingy to pay taxes and hate lower classes, don't want to give them the opportunity to advance. What they are doing really, by trying to steal everything in sight and prevent the lower classes from advancing is they are killing the goose that laid the golden egg.
Of course, by the principle of multiplication of the economy, every dollar invested in the economy multiplies 5 fold and returns 5 fold in economic growth which of course eventually enriches those at the top that much. What the greedy rich can't stand is that they are also helping the lower and middle classes, helping them grow and become more prosperous. It isn't that they begrudge that prosperity as much as they hate the lower and middle classes. And, of course, they are so stupidly greedy they think they can prosper by killing the goose and stealing her eggs directly without allowing her to live and lay those eggs. Bush keeps trying to get the lower and middle classes to spend, spend, spend, but when they don't have the money, how can they? And, it is that spending that causes the economy to grow, and multiply, increasing that 5 fold for each dollar invested.
The only place they are willing to invest and spend is the military but that money spent on the military is misspent and fails to multiply 5 fold, giving only a 3 fold economic growth.

It runs in the family (liars telling more lies)... Why would America want her to run the country? She is a Big liar, playboy will be back in the WH doing who knows what on taxpayers time and money. Friends/associates may start to drop dead all over the place to hide illegal embarrassing actions. The Clintons are not good for the country. As we see she cannot run her campaign efficiently and effectively. Her campaign is a small fraction of what would be necessary to effectively run this country. She does not handle pressure well, and thinks lying is the best policy. Hillary and Billy made $109M over a seven year period - they have no clue what it is like to lose your home, cannot pay medical bills, and how hard it is to pay for food, gas, etc. I truly believe she does not care either. Regardless what the media says - people including myself and many family and friends will not vote for this liar (Hillary). We will stay home or vote for McCain. Oh, I wish she will stop it with this blaming Obama for the situation with Florida and Michigan - Hillary played slicked - she agreed to the rules that were set, but intentionally left her name on the ballot hoping for the present results. But, what shocked her is that she did not think the issue would go this far (not seated as of yet, and will not be seated as she wanted). She speaks out of both sides of her mouth. If she were winning she would not cry at all for the delegates to be seated in the unfair "against all rules" manner she wants/NEEDS them to be seated. Go home Hillary - it is almost over for you and the rest of the Clinton cronies.

That was a slap in the face to our brave young men and woman in uniform who are in real danger. When Bill Clinton guest-hosted the Rush Limbaugh program it really showed where their sentiments lie. Then when Hillary photo-shopped Obama's skin color and nose, only an outright racist would support that blatant bigotry.

Hillary lied about being under fire in Bosnia and White House logs show she was *INSIDE* the White House as her husband porked Monica. The Clintons have always been about corruption, lies, and immorality. What a disgusting black mark they have left on the Democratic Party. Without any support, Hillary has no right to continue on in the primary race.

Honestly, I think that those who are screaming that she lied, they get it are desperate to put the focus off of Clinton's lies about her lies. This is one of the worst positions a politician can find him- or herself in...especially if the media seizes on it and puts the pol in the hotseat.
We'll stop harping on Clinton lying as soon as she _stops_ lying. Until that moment, she's fair game, and unless and until she stops the lying, expect us to continue to hold her feet to the fire, as much as we can.
If we don't and she gets the primary, you better believe the Republicans _will_ and she'll go down in the most spectacular trail of flames you've seen in a long time, ending up with us staring at Inauguration Day featuring John McCain...

Coming apart at the seams. That is just too funny...the 3 a.m. comment especially. She chose to pretend she'd be sharp (and dressed in a pantsuit) at 3 a.m. ready to tackle sticky problems, and now the excuse is she was tired.
And the lie, that is was only once, is just...bizarre. In your documentation you should have included the time of day on each of those :-)

Two debates back Hillary Clinton was claiming that she had been vetted and that the press should be checking out Obama because he hadn't been vetted. Well now she has been vetted and found to be not totally honest to put it mildly. Now she and her people are claiming that the press is picking on her. If she can not take the heat now she won't be able to in the General Election. Come to think of that I think I remember her saying exactly that about Obama back then too. President Bill Clinton earned the name of being slick . Hillary's antics over Michigan and Florida were her trying some slick moves on her own. Maybe we should just call her slick Hillary especially as she and Bill try to distract the press and the voters from the real scandals surrounding Bill and Columbia. Also a slick move to have Mark Penn resign to take the heat off over Columbia but still keep him around working on her campaign. YEP Slick Hillary.

"Lie" is too simple a word. This story was a deliberate creation of the campaign, designed to SELL her foreign policy experience in the same way that the Saddam throwing babies from incubators story was a deliberate creation to SELL the first Iraq war. The question to ask is who created the story? Are Bill & Hill using Hill & Knowlton?
Misspeak would have been if she mixed up one hectic travel stop for another. Oh... my bad, it wasn't Tuesday in Tusla where I had to dodge bullets... that was Wednesday in ____. This isn't that.

I find myself wondering why Chelsea isn't being asked about this. She stood by for months as her mother told these lies and had the back and forth with Sinbad over the circumstances. Surely she also knew her mother was lying. While Bill seems to feel at 60 Hillary can be presented as realistically forgetting whether she was ever under sniper fire surely teen Chelsea would remember such an event, wouldn't she??

Exhaustion and sleep-deprivation can make you forget things that are real. You may call a friend by the wrong name. You may forget your phone number. You could forget what you had for dinner that night. However, it does not cause you to "remember" things that never happened -- like being under sniper fire. It just doesn't work that way.
This is the problem with this whole incident. The effort to cover it up, is only making it worse.

John, I think it's quite possible that Bill Clinton, like John McCain, is starting to lose some of his cognitive faculties. He just sounds so gonzo lately -- so unlike himself. Either he's in early Alzheimers, or else the narcissism is so strong that this is his campaign for his third term that the thought of not getting it is unthinkable.

The thing is that it's very difficult to trust the Clintons each time they say something. Very sad. Life will be much easier if they learn from their mistakes and change for the better.

Look at how Hillary tried to dismiss Sinbad's comments about the trip. If there had been no video of her arrival would she have ever admitted that her recount actually never happened?
Hillary also used others like Togo West and Chelsea to lend credence to her version of events -- dispicable!!
One final point, I've also seen other surrogates using accounts of Hillary's helicopter landings in other parts of Bosnia as evidence of her version of the airplane landing in Tuzla. Clintons really think people are stupid and it's beyond me how anyone can reason that Obama is responsible for the words of his preacher but Clinton is not responsible for her BOSNIAN WHOPPER!!
