Obama admin's OPM, headed by a gay man, reportedly blocks lesbian from getting health benefits
One in 10 homeowners in SC are either in, or skating on, foreclosure, to boot. None of the black homeowners are in a "country club" development, though. With the unemployment rate already at 8% there, and education put on the back burner, I don't think some of those "country clubs" are going to last too long, either.
The majority of foreclosures these days in this lake area of NC are the "wannabees" in the overdeveloped McMansion areas (some with their own golf courses, too). And a lot of bankers at BofA and Wachovia are quaking in their Guccis...
Indeed.
a private congressional black organization IS fair
btw: has a white person ever been denied entry to the congressional black caucus? of course not. will they accept you? of course! are you a us congressman? probably.
a private congressional black organization IS fair
Why? Explain please -
Over the years, the question has arisen, "Does the Caucus allow only black members?" Pete Stark, D-Ca., who is white, tried and failed to join in 1975. The caucus does have dozens of honorary members who are white, Hispanic, and Jewish.[citation needed] In January 2007, it was reported that white members of Congress were not welcome to join the CBC.[4] Freshman Representative Steve Cohen, D-Tn., who is white, pledged to apply for membership during his election campaign to represent his constituents, who were 60% black. It was reported that although the bylaws of the caucus do not make race a prerequisite for membership, former and current members of the Caucus agreed that the group should remain "exclusively black." Rep. William Lacy Clay, Jr., D-Mo., the son of Rep. William Lacy Clay Sr., D-Mo., a co-founder of the caucus, is quoted as saying, "Mr. Cohen asked for admission, and he got his answer. He's white and the Caucus is black. It's time to move on. We have racial policies to pursue and we are pursuing them, as Mr. Cohen has learned. It's an unwritten rule. It's understood." In response to the decision, Rep. Cohen stated, "It's their caucus and they do things their way. You don't force your way in."
So what else are you wrong about moron? Every time you open your mouth the iq of everyone in the room drops by 1 point
Meanwhile, MSNBC is reporting the WH is not happy with Congress's plan for the auto industry. Well, well, well.
I sure wish I were as psychic as you and could see exactly what Obama will do in the next 4 - 8 years.
Brain trusts like you never seem to be able to grasp even the most simple aspects of how our government works.

He apparantly didn’t have a problem with their policies in the previous TWELVE years he CHOSE to play/pay there. I can’t imagine playing a good round of golf carrying around the moral burden that I’m paying large sums to support racism, and still be able to focus on a good putt!! But I digress. He obviously wouldn’t be a Republican leader with a bright future if he didn’t have the ability to rationalize and compartmentalize on a scale equal to priestly child molesters. I’m in no way suggesting that the State GOP Chairman of South Carolina, one Mr. Katon Dawson is a child molester or supporter of same.

Around here, rePigs stick out like a sore thumb, you're no exception. Get a job, or read more. God are you people brain dead.
Try this one dildo - justify the slaughter of 1,000,000 Iraqi civilians. Go ahead, continue to make a fool of yourself. There's a reason I have referred to you asswipes as rat bastards for the last 20 years. You just proved my case, once again.
First and foremost...MLK was a Republican. As was Abe (you know...the guy that freed the slaves) Lincoln. The KKK was started in Tenessee by the Democrat Party in 1866 as a social club. It was known as the militant wing of the Democrat Party. Moving on through history, Democrats took control of Congress in 1892, they then passed the Repeal Act of 1894, that overturned Civil Rights Legislation passed by...can you guess...the Republicans!! What else? Oh, Democrats also enacted the discriminatory Black Codes and Jim Crow laws. Man they were nice people huh?
Meanwhile, Republicans were starting positive things like thye NAACP to counter the racist practices of the Democrat Party. As a matter of fact...the first Black Leader of the NAACP was a Republican! I believe James Weldon Johnson was his name.
Back to the nasty Democrats. George Wallace was a Democrat. He stood in front of an Alabama school house and said "Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever!" Oh...one last caviat, Sen. Robert Byrd (D) was a former member of the KKK and is still a member of Congress. He is quoted as saying "I would rather die a thousand times and see old glory trampled in the dirt, never to rise again, than see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen of the wilds."
What's funny is that you idiots actually believe that the Democrats are for minorities. I'm out!!!
Since that time, what have the Republicans done for black people and minorities? NOTHING!
What's funny is you're an idiot or a sellout for thinking Republicans still care about minorities. I'm in, and you stay out...of your mind!
