AMERICAblog: Blogger arrests increasing

How can be so sure this will not happen in the US. If it does will we know given the secrecy of our government and the blurring of disctinctions between corporate power and government power?

One reason we need to keep the Internet out of the hands of the telecoms.

I am guessing Zimbabwe has arrested more than a few people for their internet sites, too. And Senegal and Gambia, too, where they are currently hunting down gay people in order to execute them.

This does happen in the US which is why the ACLU was going after the government for secretly spying on citizens. There are US citizens that have actually had the FBI/CIA knock on their door because of this but of course we are not going to hear about it on the news. We are dealing with some real lunatics in the government

Speaking of nutcases, Michael Reagan called for the murder of Mark Dice for exposing the truth and called others in the 9/11 Truth Movement traitors. The FBI may investigate

We have a nexus of corporations like the AP suing bloggers and countries like Egypt arresting bloggers. If Thomas Paine was alive he'd be horrified
