I welcome Bob to North Carolina with open arms. With your help, Obama can carry this state.

Why doesn't McCrazy do his Town Hall Meetings with Bob Barr?

An excellent idea to have Barr do town halls with McSame. Hopefully, McSame will invite him onto his wife's plane to get to these events. Add Ralph Nader and we'll have the greatest events of all with three extremists together.

Betcha Bob Barr's speeches aren't soporific either. Maybe we should donate to his campaign? [Kidding.] Go Bob Barr, Go Bob Barr!

Maybe this will offset some of the Hillary voters who have threatened to vote for McCain instead of Obama.
That just doesn't make sense, IMHO. Voting for the conservative republican nominee who will work to rescind Roe v Wade, and promote economic and other social policies that perpetuate systemic discrimination against women, all because you won't vote for the candidate that beat your candidate? Seems to me there's only one reason you wouldn't vote for Obama...
Go Bob Barr!

I think the Rush moles who have threatened to vote for McCain were going to vote for McCain anyway...

Well, true. And, some people are just f***ing crazy, and logical analyses of candidate's political positions don't matter much.

I had a REPUKE girl at the gym tell me she's voting for mccrazy, casue he's the most bi-partisan candidate, he's the most honest, and fically responsible. she was cute, but damn, dumb as a box of rocks. what a waste>

I had hoped that the Libertarian party would take off, but not this way.
Not with Babar. The social conservatives are trying to steal the Libertarian party out from under the Libertarians. And the social conservatives will probably win.

LULZ!!!!!! Can't stop laughing, it's just too damned funny. McStain shoulda jumped ship from the wreckage of the GOP in 2004, like he planned to until he didn't anymore.
The irony is breathtaking.

Anyone know what's up with Matt Drudge. He has always been an operative for the GOP, but lately he's seems to have totally changed. He is providing really good coverage of Barack's victory. Is it safe to support Drudge now? I know he is very good friends with activist Andrew Sullivan and maybe that has influenced his views.

This is my two cents, take it for what it's worth, but I'd never support Drudge or even visit his website. Because he's a hack! It's less to do with his politics and more to do with the quality of his website and his journalism skills, or lack of.

I know that Ron Paul hasn't yet conceded the Republican Party nomination yet, and there are still a goodly number of people who continue to support him even though he has virtually no chance of winning the nomination. Wonder what he plans to do...anyone think he might run as an Independent? He might be able to draw yet more votes away...

The social conservatives hijacked the Republican party and held it hostage for more than a decade. They're clever that way. In fact, the GOP isn't recovering yet, it's just floudering with that stress-trauma victim they've got on parade. As for the Libertarians, they write fun alternative history novels but as far as responsible government is concerend, Wyatt Erp makes me erp.

If the Dems had the electioncraft and ruthlessness of the Repigs, they'd be stealth-funding Bob Blowjob-Impeachment Barr in critical red states where he could turn the balance.

I remember that when the Democrats were running against Tom Ridge, they ran a series of ads declaring the Libertarian candidate as *the pro-life candidate*, while Ridge was wishy-washy on abortion.
They sounded like ads for the Libertarian candidate, but the funding identification was clearly the Democratic candidate.

This will be short lived. The REPUKE may be a party teetering and crippled, but they know how to knock heads to get people in line. Or Barr will just be a "ghost" in REPUKE circles.
Go BARR!!!!!!!

Bob Barr was a hoot on "The Colbert Report" last night. Not because of anything Barr said - in fact, he was pretty much a stiff - but because of how quickly Colbert was able to demolish Barr's supposed "small government" credentials. High comedy indeed.

I love how nobody learned anything from the 2000 election and the effect of a third party candidate. I keep encountering more libertarians because people are so fed up with the Republican Party. People who used to be their conservative base are fleeing to the Libertarian candidate. November is going to fun.
