The idea that Barr is going to be in the debates is at this point silly. He will need to be consistently polling around 10% or more for this to be remotely possible. Nader was in the 3-5% range in 2000 and was not considered anywhere near where he needed to be,

OK, I'm more naive to all of this than most of you, but I worry about the number of people - however small - who normally would never vote for a Democrat but were leaning that way mainly to take a stand against the war. Having Barr as an alternative concievably pulls votes away from Obama. I hope the number Barr would pull away from McCain would be larger, to more than balance it out.

maybe even just one or two with ONLY mccain and barr.
