We've had some home grown terrorism today. A Unitarian church in Knoxville Tennessee was attacked by a shotgun wielding gunman who killed 2 people and seriously injured 5 others. More deaths may result. Unitarians are overwhelmingly Democratic voters and the church is very pro gay rights. I think this will turn out to be a hate crime against Unitarians, and by extension Democrats.

So the media will probably ignore it.

A bad development for India where there's probably not a Unitarian church to be seen and a sad commentary on religious fanaticism in all cases, although Bangalore is where so many of those tech calls you make wind up, so that could have been a strike against western capitalism as the attacks against the World Trade Center were.

I've already seen coverage of the Knoxville shooting on CBS and ABC this am, very early on, and they did say it may be treated as a hate crime, due to the words of the shooter. Sadly, a large number of kids were performing their version of "Annie" when the gunman came into the church and witnessed the entire thing.
