It isn't just that Hillary was playing the situation in Bosnia, it's that she's so lost in herself that it never crossed her mind that those sweet little foreign people are on this planet, living their lives, reading newspapers, watching television and, omigaud!, logging onto the internet in order to pay attention to the Big World we all live in together. You really need to question her judgment.
I could even overlook Bill's lie about the blowjob. While technically wrong, it was really understandable. But this was unnecessary and provably false -- not to mention ridiculous on the face of it. No military commander in his right mind is going to plunk the first lady and her teenage daughter into the middle of a firefight. Geeez Louise!

Really, John? Ruh Roh? Do you think anything will come of this??!! - the Bosnia "LIE!!!" has passed. She's in it until the convention - that's the new story - get with it! This is what has become typical of our high profile blogs on the left. ALl of this petty - Yes, Petty - babble over these issues. This is what the MS is doing. The blogs should be directing the discussions to the differences in the candidate's policies/stands/proposals. We all know that this is a total Hate Hillary site anymore. Most of the prominent blogs on the left have become that. It's not helping the Dem Party - it's helping the GOP in cementing the appearance that the Dems are split. We are not - we all haven't voted yet. I am voting for Obama in PA on the 22nd. I come to these sites to read some of the best political insight available, yet all I'm seeing for the last month or so is an increasingly shrill WE HATE HILLARY blog. I'll step away for a while and maybe after the summer, you'll be back on your game.

So much for Hillary being a champion of HEALTHCARE. Seems she has failed to pay $292,000 for health insurance premiums for her campaign staff.
They (FEC filings) show the campaign ended last year owing Aetna more than $213,000 for "employee benefits."
During the first two months of the year, the campaign did not pay down any of that debt. In fact, it accrued another $16,000 in unpaid bills last month, and it finished the month owing Aetna $229,000.

Chelsea Clinton got her second question today on a college campus about Monica. Once again, she fired back it was nobody's business. I am not sure how much Chelsea and Bill are helping. I noticed in looking at the counties with big universities where Chelsea stumped in Texas, most went strong for Sen. Obama including such conservative schools as Texas A&M (think Bush Presidential Library and fomer A&M President Robert Gates). Also McLennan County (think Waco and Crawford) which is home to the largest Baptist school in the nation, Baylor University.
The Northeast Texas areas (nearest Arkansas) where Bill stumped in smaller cities like Texarkana, Longview, Marshall, Kilgore, Tyler and Nagadoches, even Galveston, ALL went for Obama. Maybe Bill was TOO CLOSE to Arkansas!

Just got home and read this on yahoo.news. Rep Bart Stupak (D Mich ) has proposed a plan to seat the Michigan delegates. I realize that something HAS to be done for FL and MI BUT I really think it is unfair to do what he proposes. BTW he is an Obama supporter. How can anything be fair when Edwards was still on those ballots and Obama was not? Just to assume Uncommitted meant a vote for Obama is not right. I don't know what the answer is but I don't like this one.

Edwards was not on the Michigan ballot. The only names were Clinton (who got 56% of the votes), Kucinich (3%), and Gravel (1%). That left 40% for "UNCOMMITTED!" which could have been those wanting Obama, Edwards or whoever was still in the running.
Monica however wasn't a "personal" thing as it was the reason for an impeachment trial that changed history in some ways, may have even prevented a President Gore. Joe Garofoli of the San Francisco Chronicle asks:

I disagree. If someone just asked her out of the blue what her parents did in the bedroom, you'd have a case. But this was a very public thing that paralyzed the country for nearly two years, almost brought down the government, and caused Al Gore to shy away from Clinton during Al's campaign, which was probably a mistake. It's also what most likely led Gore to pick Lieberman as his running mate, a really bad decision.
This isn't some snooping into a private matter. The Monica affair was probably the most public blow job since Joe D'Alessandro got one on film in Trash.
And, if Chelsea is going to go on the trail as a campaign operative, then she's got to answer the tough questions. It's not like she was staying in the background and someone called her at home to ask her about it.

Sorry, I thought Edwards was on the ticket in Michigan. About Chelsea, let them ask Bill and Hillary about Monica, it was their affair or at least his. It is not appropriate to ask the daughter no matter how despicable I find Hillary. I don't see how the question even remotely relates to this nomination process. There are much better "credibility" questions that could have and should have been asked. I don't believe Chelsea should sheltered from reporters, I say have at it. I just don't Monica Lewinski has a damn thing to do with the race that is now being run.

What is really sad here is that Bill Clinton ran in 1992 on a platform of ending the Bosnian civil war. Instead, he sacrificed another 250,000 Europeans to genocide because Hillary thought it would detract from her health care initiative. Yep. Hillary fought to end the Bosnian genocide just like she fought to end the Rwandan & Sudanese genocides. Human life has little meaning when forced to compete against the semantic driven world of Hillary Clinton. Especially tasteless as Hillary is now attempting to drape herself in the flag of the Bosnian experience as a fellow survivor of sniper & mortar fire. Tasteless. Shameless. A true defining moment of Hillary's character and true concern for the human condition. As a 100% disabled veteran and graduate of the Ranger course all I can say is Hillary, you are no combat veteran or humanitarian.
