And in all fairness, it was a smaller blog that emailed me their story, that I then linked to.

    Breaking: Palin is PRO-CHOICE:

"And, um, if you're asking, though, kind of foundationally here, should anyone end up in jail for having an … abortion, absolutely not. That's nothing I would ever support. "

Palin: Gays CHOOSE to be homosexual:

"But as for homosexuality, I am not going to judge Americans and the decisions that they make in their adult personal relationships. I have one of my absolute best friends for the last 30 years happens to be gay, and I love her dearly. And she is not my "gay friend," she is one of my best friends, who happens to have made a choice that isn't a choice I would have made. But I am not going to judge people."

I read on Ben Smith and Marc Ambinder that the rape kit story had been "debunked". Yet they linked to a National Review article that was so shoddy and illogical that it's hard to believe two big media types would fall for it. Basically National Review couldn't find any actual rape victims who were charged for their rape kits, therefore the story is a slimy smear. Ridiculous.

I would simply ask Sarah Palin if Roe should be overturned, and if she believes doctors should be imprisoned or penalized for performing abortions.

It was revealed today that, at the insistance of the McCain campaign, Sarah Palin will be staying in a Holiday Inn Express Wednesday evening.

Ms. Palin, would you have thrown your daughter in jail had she chosen to terminate her pregnancy? If not, why not?

It all hinges on the Divine Right of Kings, if you are one of god's chosen you can impose your views on everyone else no justification required. Nemesis has a special experience in store for Sarah the Righteous.

Ms. Palin, if your twelve year old daughter is raped, would you deny her the ability to take a pill ensuring she is not forced to gestate for nine months and give birth to a child in which she is clearly unable to mother? Or, do you think twelve year old girls are old enough to mother children?

Palin has become a caricature of herself.

    1) There was 1 alleged rape during her tenure
    2) The hospital billing program made the charges
    3) Patients are charged for all kits used in treatment
    4) Check other states/municipalities--the Prosecutor's office or the local police do not customarily pick up this expense

One of the problems with the questions you list is that she can answer each of them with a "yes" or a "no." Speaking from the point of view of somebody who likes orchids almost as much as you, John, such questions will rarely result in answers that show the full bloom of her inanity. We need "why?" questions; those were what Katie posed to her and we all know the result.

I have a question for Sarah.
When you shoot amoose do you go for the kill shot or do you wing'em
so you can track them untill they bleed out?

I'm glad the traditional media is finally paying attention to this travesty. Why do women's groups remain silent??

You Morons! This is a complete and utter lie! How dare the Globe even call themselve journalist.

All the Globe-Democrat has to do is show a single incident of “the town charging rape victims or their insurers” for rape kits. Just one. That’s all. Should be easy, right? After all, Rene Loth &Co. (editorial page editor of the Boston Globe-Democrat) are reporting it as fact. Surely, Rene, you have the facts. So just publish them.

Ah, but that might be difficult. You see, as has been reported repeatedly for weeks now, there is no record of the city of Wasilla ever charging anyone for a rape kit. And as of 2000, the state of Alaska changed the law to prohibit towns—like Juneau, which actually DID—from charging for them.

The Boston Globe Democrat knows this. The debunking of the “rape kit” myth is widely known. The liberal online magazine Slate.com wrote about it, concluding that the entire story “is a nasty and untrue rumor about Sarah Palin that's been circulating for weeks.”

But the Boston Globe-Democrat repeated that lie today.

This is a current link to the Globe editorial: http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/editorial_opi...

I visited factcheck.org and it is obviously true that this was the town's policy until the State legislature banned it. Given Palin's micromanaging of other issues in the town of 7,000, I think she should answer these questions and be held accountable.
