The entire rush-back-to-Washington-to-save-the-economy is turning out to be another campaign stunt. The msm is congratulating McCain for leading the rethugs AGAINST the bailout - thus saving the poor US taxpayers from big, bad (read: Democratic) government.
WHAT A LOAD OF BS.
Was this entire fiasco a PR stunt for McCain's benefit? McCain sure needs something to present in the debates....sure can't be his shit-for-brains-witch-hunter VP.

From the party that gave you chimpy flying back to DC to save Terri Schiavo? you have to ask??

Totally OT
I published this on another thread but I think it is funny (as in haha) as hell. Apparently Barney Franks snidely compared McCain to Andy Kaufman's routine on Mighty Mouse. Huff Post has the clip. Just picture McCain instead of Kaufman.
I will never be able to hear "Here I am to save the day" without laughing my butt off.

McCain looks like such a baby now. A fucking Cry-Baby.
People don't even know if he will debate tomorrow night yet. Every minute he remains undecided about participating in the debate he loses a few thousand more votes. He will look ridiculous and indecisive WHATEVER he decides to do now! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

Just had a funny image of Johhny Wet Start (Forrestal joke) as a baby, with his wispy gray hair, holding a rattle and screaming his lungs out...thanks!

It was probably some half-baked attempt to get Obama to quit campaigning.

MSNBC just ran a head line that said McCain told Brian Williams he THINKS he may be able to debate tomorrow night.
Fricking diva! The whole country is anxiously awaiting this debate and McCain "thinks" he may be able to make it.

Yikes! MSNBC showing a clip of McCain with the background kind of a peachy orange. I think I like the lime green better.
Katie Couric on the CBS Evening News: "John McCain suspended his campaign to address the issue of the financial crisis. We also spoke with him today." [McCain talking-point interview]
CNN just reported that the House Republicans are throwing a wrench in the bill. McToast spent his afternoon with those critters and it seems McToast is at the heart of this bill's problem. Nice work. Not.

McShame would try to govern the same way he has run his campaign, total chaos all the time.

Seems as if maybe even the AP finally has had a snootfull of McCain's antics. He looks terrible, there's definitely something physically wrong with him, and even the AP cannot contemplate the thought of President Sarah Palin without shuddering.
