AMERICAblog: BREAKING: Hillary reportedly invoked Bobby Kennedy's assassination today

  • January20 · 1 year ago
What does that have to do with anything? She becomes more unhinged daily. Yeah, I want her answering the phone at 3 am NOT.
  • CitizenX · 1 year ago
    Wow!
  • Dianne_in_DC · 1 year ago
What a coincidence. Today as I was driving over to do volunteer work, listening to the Dianne Rehm show, it occured to me that someone might try to assassinate Hillary to take her out of the race. Is that her point? More evidence of the insanity that is the Hillary campaign.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
    Wow.

She has become one scary human being.

Yesterday I said I probably shouldn't say this....but that if she were to be VP...Obama should fear for his life.

    She needs to go....NOW !!
  • naschkatzehussein · 1 year ago
And yesterday I posted that Terry McAuliffe said that Clinton was staying in the race in case something "catastrophic" happened to Obama. I put that in quotes because it is an exact quote.
  • ChrisM70 · 1 year ago
An incredibly terrible thing to say. She's just another politician addicted to power who will do and say ANYTHING to hold on to it. Shame on her.
  • slappymagoo · 1 year ago
Yeah, the difference between Bobby and/or Bill then, & Hillary know, is that Hillary is being a complete and total divisive jerk about the process. AND doesn't really stand a chance of winning short of a Hail mary play.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
So is this a coded command to her followers or is it wishful thinking on her part?
  • jimfromthefoothills · 1 year ago
we got her! this knocks her out of the race.

She doesn't get it. Even if my man Barack got hit by a bus, she would still not be the nominee.
  • Jim Olson · 1 year ago
I don't get it. Is she implying that someone might make an attempt on Obama?
  • Apt604 · 1 year ago
And is she going to be the one making the attempt?
  • MC_Haiku · 1 year ago
The woman is unhinged. Are the super-delegates paying attention? They can end this farce right now. At what point does a farce become a tragedy?
  • bordo · 1 year ago
This ship has slipped its moorings. She is now certifiably insane. ,
  • naschkatzehussein · 1 year ago
People, the voters, have been trying to push her out with good reason.
  • MarkoSparko · 1 year ago
    vile vile vile!
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
good lord. i guess she's saying lots of important things can happen late. but what a horrible, stupid thing to say.

she's not what we need. not even veep.
  • bordo · 1 year ago
Is this the "jump the shark" moment? Mother of God, if she is being quoted accurately, she's practically hoping Obama takes a bullet. Even the most hardcore Hillary backers ought to be appalled, incensed and sickened by this comment. It's a mind-boggling peek into her mindset and, man, it is ugly in there.
  • devis1 · 1 year ago
"trying to listen to the interview now..." Trying being the operative word here.
  • Rab · 1 year ago
"People have been trying to push me out of this ever since Iowa." Would that be the "voters", the little people who don't want you as their candidate? She is so mediocre and banal that arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/05/23/clinto...

Huffpo confirms it and OBAMA Campain responds.
"Senator Clinton's statement before the Argus Leader editorial board was unfortunate and has no place in this campaign," said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
Schuster reporting on it now on MSNBC....Obama campaign replying her statement has no place in the campaign.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
Schuster just talked about this on MSNBC. He expects a "clarification" to come from the hillary camp by the end of the day.
  • shrrrr · 1 year ago
This terrible person has got to be exposed. This is clear evidence of how her mind really works.
  • whomod · 1 year ago
If anyone can help me with this. I recall reading something years ago about this very sort of chatter in the media, OpEd's political cartoons, preceded some infamous assassinations. It's like hitting to "go " switch or something.

I know it's real conspiracy nut stuff but I just want to re-read some of that stuff and I haven't been able to find anything as of yet.
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
I take this as a threat to the DNC and Obama that maybe she could arrange something. Secret Service better cover his ass big time. This is a expansion of her racial comments since North Carolina. We know what she said in WV and Kentucky to the white, working class electorate. Enough now. If this does not bring her down then the DNC are truly the powerless, headless organization I think it is.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
NY Times attempts to cover for her:

She also pointed to the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy — in June, of 1968 — as evidence that primaries sometimes go on a long time and there was no reason she should give up hers prematurely.

Historically, she said, nomination fights have gone on longer. She pointed to her husband, who did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary in June. She also pointed to Bobby Kennedy’s assassination, which took place in June 1968, as a marker that other nomination fights have gone on longer than hers. “We remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California,” she said.

An aide to Mrs. Clinton said that she was simply using the Kennedy assassination as a benchmark to underscore that nomination fights can go a long time and that she was in no way implying anything else.

  • naschkatzehussein · 1 year ago
Thanks, that's a good link. I've made a comment there similar to what I said here. I hope others here will do the same. I can't believe how far the NYT is willing to rationalize to maintain their support of her.
  • devis1 · 1 year ago
I managed to listen to her til she said it. Their media player didn't have a FastForward--it was torture.
  • PeteWa · 1 year ago
Well, that makes Hillary and Rove prime suspects if this happens.
  • justndav32 · 1 year ago
This is a terrible and sad thing for her to say. I wonder if all her supporters will defend Obama on this comment since they are always complaining about how they perceive us Obama supporters treating Sen. Clinton. He better have an outstanding security detail around him because I take this as some sort of veiled threat against him. And to think I was somewhat starting to warm to the idea of her being VP, not anymore with comments like this. If this does not move superdelegates then I dont know what will. Its time to end this and move on.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
She can make all the excuses she wants....she knew damn well what she was implying...she is not dumb.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    Crazy woman!
  • Tyreese · 1 year ago
This is an OUTRAGE!! The African-American community is absolutely disgusted by this latest racist tactic by Billary. We cannot allow the Shillary supporters who are embracing such corruption to now try and join the Obama victory train. Hillary's deceitful and immoral supporters have no business trying to infect Obama's clean campaign with their venom. The Clintons are some of the slimiest, vile scum we have ever seen in politics. As Democrats, we can no longer afford to be associated with such pigs.
  • Nutjob · 1 year ago

  • jimfromthefoothills · 1 year ago
    FUCKING JOB!
  • Tyreese · 1 year ago
John, thanks for having the guts to break this politically incorrect story. Just as it was revealed that Hillary photo-shopped Obama's image for a racist negative ad, she was also exposed as having encouraged Rev. Wright to inject his hate-filled rants into the campaign. The bigoted Clintons and their dishonest supporters need to quit trying to destroy the Democratic Party and just go ahead and join McCain's campaign. Everyone knows that behind the scenes, Hillary and her crazy supporters have cut a deal for her to be McCain's VP.
  • naschkatzehussein · 1 year ago
Yes, congratulations, John. HuffPo has it up now too, but I imagine the comments will get shut down sooner than later.

  • naschkatzehussein · 1 year ago
Fuck MyDD and Taylor Marsh. I hope Clinton's demise means the end of them too.
  • tbhull · 1 year ago
Certainly Hillary and her supporters would be offended if Obama stated he was stying in the race just in case a bullet split Hillary's skull.

Hillary is worthy of total demise. Why doen't this gash come and and say the SDs should vote for her because everyone knows Obama will be assassinated in four years easy.

  • lov446 · 1 year ago
My God! It's true, H.Clinton putting out code words to get rid of her opponent!! What else could it be? Another "mispeak!?" She knows exactly what she said, and it proves beyond a doubt, if we are all honest with ourselves, that she would invoke this thought to some crazed supporter of hers just to get herself elected!!!! This woman is now DANGEROUS!! She must be stopped somehow, as she is now a threat to our nation's security. She is the ULTIMATE TRAITER to this country!!! We can no longer let her go on, she must now be stopped, as she has crossed the line, hit below the belt, and worst of all , betrayed her own country!!
  • RadicalRuss · 1 year ago
What's the emoticon for stunned outrage and disbelief?

Just last week we had Huckabee making the joke about Obama ducking because there was a gun aimed at him. Now Hillary is staying in as the backup candidate in case Obama's assassinated.

How long will it be before some drunken deluded racist five-toothed wingnut of the "no college education, below $50,000 per year, hard working white Hillary Clinton" supporter variety figures out that the only way his candidate wins is if Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson have their say?

    Superdelegates - END THIS!
  • slappymagoo · 1 year ago
Look, if this is what gets her out of the race, I'm not going to bellyache TOO much. But my enmity for her campaign aside, and even with my penchant for conspiracy theories, I took her comment as "had Bobby Kennedy not been assassinated, his campaign would have still continued, and this occurred in the month of *June*, so why should I drop out in *May*?"

As I said before, I'd argue that Kennedy wasn't acting nearly the jerk Hillary is, and that's why she should drop out, Her jerkiness is divisive, polarizing and damaging to our chances in November.

But I still didn't take her comments the way others are taking her comments. I may be too naive, or not as angry as I thought I was. I think she's being a total a-hole, and I wouldn't be surprised if she was staying in the race in case of an Obama meltdown or major uck-fup, but hoping for a hit? Sorry, can't take that leap into Vince Fosterland right now.
  • naschkatzehussein · 1 year ago
No? Please read my comment above yours where I cite McAuliffe's use of the phrase "something catastrophic may yet happen to Obama". There is a pattern here.
  • naschkatzehussein · 1 year ago
I've e-mailed the DNC about her remarks as well as McAuliffe's statement that she is staying in the race because something "catastrophic" may yet happen to Obama. I told the DNC that this is either an actual threat or attempt to make us all afraid to have Obama as our nominee, but either way, it is way over the edge. If you or I made comments like these, the Secret Service would be all over us.
  • BlueStateMom · 1 year ago
As a purely political tactic, I think one of the most effective things we can do is demonize Hillary and the Clinton name as much as possible. If we can associate the Clinton name with images of corruption, racism, and immorality, then we stand to win by HUGE margins.

If by some fluke, Obama actually loses to McCain in the Fall, then it is of utmost importance that we scapegoat Billary as causing that loss. Obama and his advisors have done everything right. The DNC needs to learn a tough lesson, that anything negative that happens in the general election MUST be blamed on the Clintons. Similar to the successful playbook the Republicans used in 2000, we can use the Clintons' legacy of failure as a prop on which to blame any and all responsibility for a possible Obama loss.

To think that the Hillbots are supporting someone so crazy, racist, and outright dangerous is mind-boggling. I would NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES welcome one of her sick supporters into Obama's campaign any more than I would welcome David Duke supporters. These people are pure scum!

For once in his life, Rush Limbaugh may have been right. The African-American community is going to take to the streets if Hillary manages to steal the nomination that is rightfully Obama's. African-Americans are extremely angered at the racist Clintons and want to see them out of politics. We CANNOT accept Hillary's fake apology. Obama's campaign is about unity and healing, not the LIES of Billary and her adulterous husband. She is racist to the core.
  • Topher · 1 year ago
Ummm...you would never under any circumstances (in all capitals, none the less) welcome any of Mrs. Clinton's supports into your campaign of unity and healing? And Mrs. Clinton is supposed to be the only one playing politics?
  • Schmedlap · 1 year ago
She is using as justification for taking it to the Convention Karl Rove's electoral map which shows, state by state, that she can beat McCain but Obama cannot. Karl Rove. Can you believe it? Karl wouldn't try to deceive us , would he?

    Someone with sense - http://www.talkleft.com/comments/2008/5/23/1691...

She has said this thing about Bill not wrapping it up until June for months now. She's simply lying.

Go back and read any artcile, any report, any coverage at all from the spring of 1992. Bill Clinton was the nominee as of the middle of march and everyone knew it. If she means he didn't technically cross the delegate threshold until June, that is completely misleading.

Neither did Kerry. But every one knows he won it after he won IA and NH. Because CA and some other big states like NY and PA were at the end of the calendar, it was impossible to get the delegates needed until they voted.

No one was seriously competing against Bill after March and he ended up winning by 2800 or so delegates. Tsongas dropped out in March and no one took Jerry Brown seriously. Even he conceded he had no real chance.

There was no close contest or race at all. He his closest rival from March on by more than a 2-1 margin.

So for her to keep bringing it up as if Bill was engaged in this life or death struggle and anything can happen at thend is ludicrous.

And her RFK comment today was just unexplainable. Whatever sliver of any chance she had just sailed far away. She just said goodbye to her VP hopes as well.
  • BlueStateMom · 1 year ago
Matt Drudge has a HUUUUGE headline about this right now! I'm glad we have someone as influencial as Drudge on our side now. What a bunch of hysterical nutbags you are... jeeeze.

SOME primaries have gone into June, is the point. Are you trying to say she meant there is still hope for Obama to be assassinated? PA-LEASE.

Just one MORE reason for her to be VP in my book... "assassination prevention" everyone hates her so much, they'd never TRY to assassinate Obama.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
Please! Her argument about Bill not wrapping it up til June is bullshit! Only Jerry Brown was still in the race and he may have had all of 2 delegates by that point. Bill was the presumptive nominee in March.

Her using the assassination as an example shows her utter lack of judgement. Whether intending to send a code out to her followers to go after Obama or not, saying something like that could very easily incite some lunatic (and there seems to be a lot of lunatics supporting hillary!) into taking matters into his/her own hands.
  • bordo · 1 year ago
On the Politico site, she's working to pass this off as a misstatement, saying the Kennedy family has been on her mind a lot since the brain tumor diagnose on Ted Kennedy. Yup. Just like she was tired and confused --three separate times-- when she talked about landing under sniper fire in Bosnia.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Her "gaffe" didn't happen because she was "tired." In fact, she seemed pretty relaxed and self-assured in front of the Argus. Like all such "gaffes," it revealed depths of unconscious desire...paging Dr. Freud!
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
For the record: I am glad I put the word gaffe in irony quotes. IT's VERY clear now that this was not a case of misspeaking (since she did it two months ago), but a clear effort to justify her continuing presence in the campaign; she plans to be ready and waiting when the charismatic, young nominee gets killed. Even after Obama secures the nom, she would simply "suspend" her campaign...

It will be interesting if this story takes legs over the holiday weekend. At the rate it is going, I think it will. And I here I thought Bill was the loose cannon in th family. I have been long dismayed by commentary of assassination in this primary season. If this were said about McCain, the Republicans would be apoplectic.
  • tbhull · 1 year ago
The irony is that Clinton not only destroyed herself politically now and forever today, she destroyed the Clinton legacy that always viewed itself as Kennedy like. While the Kennedy's legacy is not entirely pure, the Clinton legacy is marked by an overly inteeligenct politically skilled piece of philandering white trash and a Machievellian gash that so sorely lacks political skills that shot her own candidacy in the head.
  • January20 · 1 year ago
Please, just how she ran her campaign and its finances should disqualify her for the office on its face, now this really stupid statement out her own mouth that confirms the worst that people think of her. If she weren't so calculating and dishonest, I might feel badly for her.
  • bowseat93 · 1 year ago
I'm an Obamamaniac, and having watched the clip on Hardball, along with her clarification, I agree with others that she meant that campaigns often go into June.

Stupid comment? For sure. And perhaps a Freudian slip. I like what John Dickerson said on Twitter about her jumping back and forth several times over the shark.

That said, even if she meant it in the more benign fashion, well, so did Obama when he was talking about voters in PA being bitter. And look what happened then.

Chuck Todd commented on Hillary's demeanor when she was apologizing for the remarks. It sounds like she knows she's toast.

I am fuming...the first thing I thought about was, because I know secret and not so secret racists well, if you're white they feel safe saying it, (and I know this is going to sound off the wall, but when you hear this your own self from others, it can't be ignored) was that the implication is..."Bobby Kennedy, you know, that n***** lover, was killed in June, and maybe the n***** will get it then as well."

It's as true as the white business owner, when JFK was assassinated, who asked me why I was crying over a n***** lover. Nothing much has changed in 45 years.

And Pat Schroeder still thinks Obama supporters are sexist? Prove it.

Also: when I read her comments, the first thing that came to mind is she may be putting bad ideas into people's heads. There's a lot of wack jobs out there, and it's horrible for her to imply she'd step in if he was assassinated.

I have suspected all along this past two months that the main reason this campaign persists was the not so unlikely possibility of Obama's 'sudden departure', shall we say, over the summer and before the convention . To this I add that the stoking of impoverished white folks and their resistance to Obama's candidacy might well be seen as an incitement to such an event. I hope that I am overly suspicious but thats what it looked like to me -- not just prideful obstinacy. But if my surmise is correct, the strategy is beyond cynical and disgusting.

Over the course of this campaign, I've gone from ambivalent about Sen. Clinton to outright hatred. I think she's the wrong person at the wrong time for the presidency. I sincerely hope that she drops out soon and that a better Democrat ousts her in New York state.

That said, let's not despair over the state of the Democrats this fall. It's hard to overestimate the displeasure much of the GOP base feels for McSame. Evangelicals, the anti-immigrant crowd, etc. are not going to work enthusiastically for him and may just write off the 2008 race. He's going to be operating at a significant dollar disadvantage and will have the albatross of eight years of George W. Bush hanging around his neck. He's also something of a loose cannon with a short temper and he will, at some point, say and/or do something very damaging.

Yes, Hillary Clinton is damaging Obama and the Democratic Party. Yes, she's selfish and power hungry and unable to face the sad facts of her campaign. Yes, it would be better if she dropped out. BUT. . .we'll have a fresh, energetic and charismatic candidate with a gift for soaring eloquence and they'll have a cranky, 72-year-old political sellout who doesn't excite his party's base this fall. Our chances are still very, very, very good.

    Ditto on the "unfuckingbelievable"...
What made Huckabee's lame excuse even more lame is the accepted perception that politicians speaking in public can be assassination targets. I would think any normal politician planning to mount a stage thinks of possible assassination...An insider's knowledge of Secret Service planning and protection also might tend to exacerbate personal and public qualms around large mass events. It therefore seems impossible that a politician could innocently and without guile or forethought jokingly or informationally reference assassination.

Even weirder. Funny that assassination keeps popping up when it comes to the Clintons. Must run in their blood. If memory serves me there have to date been close to 100 people that were connected to Bill during during his tenure as governor who have mysteriously died and all of these deaths were explained away as accidents and suicides and many of them state police, and if you believe in the tooth fairy, Vince Forster was a suicide as well.
Either Hillary is as dumb as nails and made the statement she did, or shes still holding out hope that she can become Obamas V.P. and by coincidence be just a heart beat away from taking over as she had planned all along once Obama is out of the way. I am so sick and tired of her and all the divisive things she continues to say. Hopefully, this comment will end all of this Hillary as the VP / Dream Ticket crap.

Most of the pundits on TV that I saw gave her the benefit of the doubt for some reason. They don't want to believe that she could be wishing for something like this. But why the hell would she invoke this if she wasn't floating the idea that this indeed could happen to Obama in June??

And that 'apology' she gave was total BS. An apology to the Kennedys? How about an apology to Obama??

She had plenty of time to figure out how to fix her dunder-headed statement and she omitted the guy who she should have apologized to. So, to me, that omission was done on purpose and only seems to justify the meaning behind her original statements.

If the superdelegates continue to stay in place after this, they should all be officially put on notice (a la Colbert). It is they, not Hillary, who is to blame for anything that spews out of her mouth that hurts our nominee and our party when they have the ability to unify and silence her.

    Statement from the Argus Leader
The Argus Leader's Executive Editor Randell Beck issued the following statement today:
"The context of the question and answer with Sen. Clinton was whether her continued candidacy jeopardized party unity this close to the Democratic convention. Her reference to Mr. Kennedy's assassination appeared to focus on the timeline of his primary candidacy and not the assassination itself."

Howard Fineman may have done the best job of discussing this issue on Countdown. He pointed out that she not only didn't apologize to the Kennedys, but she omitted Obama altogether. All she said was that she was sorry if anyone was offended. But she didn't take any blame for the comment itself.

He also pointed out how she has a tendency to never take the blame for what she says or does (i.e. vote for war, comments about Bosnia, these latest RFK remarks, etc.). It's so ironic that one of the things we detest about George W. Bush and it happens to be a quality that Hillary has as well.
  • BorninUSA · 1 year ago
"She also pointed to the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy — in June, of 1968 — as evidence that primaries sometimes go on a long time and there was no reason she should give up hers prematurely."

So if she only meant that the primaries go on for a long time why didn't she just say that Bobby Kennedy was still campaigning in June 1992 as was Bill Clinton. No need to mention the assassination.

Also, she apologized to the Kennedy family for her tasteless remarks but I did not see anywhere where she apologized to Obama. That confirms what she really meant.
  • DougStamate · 1 year ago
As pointed out by stjohnnixx, in context the quote was about the fact that it was during the primaries that took place in June that Robert Kennedy was assassinated.
Since there was no reference to Sen. Obama, there is no need for him to get an apology. As for Sen. Clinton's campaign mentioning the possibility of something "catastrophic" happening - they perhaps, just possibly have been referring to something political.
It crossed my mind that if I was the person supplying the medications to the delusional paranoids that support Sen. Obama, then I could give up my day job. Then I realized that first the patient has to want to get well...

Hillary Clinton has gone beyond the pale with her comments in Souith Dakota; if anything the vague and wandering statements that her campaign people tried to pass off as an apology did nothing but make a disasterous situation even worse. Hillary has shot herself not in the foot but in the head.
There is only one course of action open to her and that is to withdraw/resign from the Primary contest tomorrow if not tonight. If she tries to leave it to next week it will be too late. HILLARY MUST GO, THE SOONER THE BETTER.
Howard Dean along with Reid and Pelosi need to take her in hand and make sure she withdraws. It is hard to know if she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but her remarks were inexcusable and the Democratic party will be destroyed totally, as well as the cause of women set back a hundred years is this person is allowed to continue even another day. Yes, I know a lot of people did not like her, but can any thinking competent person consider continuing to support the unthinking and, yes, deranged person we saw and heard making these remarks? It would most likely be best for her also to resign her seat as Senator for New York so that she can have a long rest in a private psychiatric facility. Best for both she and Bill to remove themselves from public life. She has shown herself to be unfit to be considered for the Presidency or the Vice-Presidency or even to continue as a Senator.
Again, Dean, Reid, and Pelosi need to perform this distasteful but very necessary function and they need to do it with all due haste as soon as possible. This was not a misspeaking, but a monsterous gaffe of gargantuan proportion. HILLARY MUST GO!

Well if they weren't before, it's a pretty good guess that they are now.

Good for you. Along with other mails regards this, I have also sent one to the DNC.

    You are all idiots.
She was saying that Robert Kennedy's run for President went until June (until it was ended tragically). She wasn't focusing on the assination part, she was focusing on the June part... and it so happens that was when he was assasinated. And then she said Bill went until June. Don't read anything into it. Geez.

Her comments are unacceptable. I dont care if thats not what she "meant", im sick of her explanations, she said that the reason shes still in the race is because you never know what might happen there might be an assassination. Unacceptable. Detestable. Not someone we want as our nominee.

Knock the idiot shit off cowboy. She mentioned the assassination. Spin all you want. It was a stupid thing to say and in line with a host of disgraceful things she has said to wit:

He's a Christian as "far as I know"
I have the experience, certainly John McCain has the experience, and Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002.
I believe I am fit to be President, certainly Senator McCain is. You'd have to ask Senator Obama how he stacks up (paraphrased)

She is not Miss Innocent and justifiably deserves the wrath she has so richly begged for.

She could have picked any other campaign ..

    She could have said
“John Kerry was still campaigning in June”
“Al Gore was still campaigning in June”
“Walter Mondale was still campaining in June”
“Mike Dukakis was still campaigning in June”
“Jimmy Carter was stil campaigning in June”

Hell she could have even said "Bobby Kennedy was still campaigning in June" ..

No she HAD to go to the assassination

The thing that many of us Obama supporters (myself included) fear.

    Supers, party leaders

    S H U T
    T H I S
    D O W N !!!!!!

Save Hillary and the Democratic party from herself

At this point she is reminding me of Pink’s - “Don’t Let Me Get Me” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qx10ZrVeKBk

I read that Bill had the nomination sewed up in APRIL. Do you have another excuse?
  • mirth · 1 year ago
    Do not forget this!

Once she settles back into her cushy senate seat and she and Bill try to resuscitate their reputations, maybe she votes the right way on some meaningless bills, his face loses the red and he stops pointing his bony, scolding finger,

    DO NOT FORGET!

Referring to a former Democratic First Lady and current Senator as "sick piece of shit" shows real class Mr. Aravosis.

    Congratulations.

I support Obama, but even I believe this is a non-story. Come on, everyone please calm down. It's obvious what she meant, and there is nothing she said that was remarkable. It's amazing that people nitpick everything a candidate says and make mountains out of mole hills.

All this election year GOTCHA game is wearing me out. Who gives a shit what Hillary said? Not me.

I always read your comments and usually like what you write, so this one is a real disappointment.
