This is exactly what happens when you outsource our military to a company worried about turning a profit... This kind of crap happens, and worse.
Doesn't Virginia Foxx represent the district where Blackwater or Xe or whatever the hell they call themselves now, resides? If so, please tell me she goes down with them due to her close ties.

Virginia Foxx is such a lunatic it hardly surprises me to learn that Blackwater is in her district.

Should go to jail. But won't.

"Someone at Blackwater (or Xe Services, as it's known now) should probably be going to jail."
Ha! Like that would ever happen!
Bush-wanna-be Obama would never dare to hold Blackwater accountable to the law! If there's one thing he learned from his predecessor it's to never, ever do anything the far-right wouldn't want him to do!

Well, KBR's being sued for burning toxic waste in Iraq:
Is anyone going to ask the Deceiver-in-Chief about this?

Is anyone going to ask the Deceiver-in-Chief about this?
Short ans. No.
Remember, Obama doesn't care about crimes committed against the Constitution, past or present. Didn't Obama just recently approve a new Blackwater contract?
This country doesn't abide by the Rule of Law - the Law is envoked to keep the little man in the ditch - not the high and mighty politicians (both rePigs and Dems), or their spokespersons, they are above the law.
To hell with our founding fathers and their goddamn piece of paper they called the Constitution. In today's world its meaningless.

"Someone at Blackwater (or Xe Services, as it's known now) should probably be going to jail. " =============================== With Obama continuing to use their services, continuing on from the Bush era, I will not hold my breath. Some people, including Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and others continue to be given a free pass by this administration and government and they refuse to prosecute them.

It would be interesting to see who REALLY owns Blackwater/Xe. I would expect to see the usual suspects. Is Carlyle Group in there somewhere?

Now that wouldn't surprise me in the least.

This is precisely what corporations are good for. Whether it is a drug cartel in Columbia, Iraqi officials, Nazi's it doesn't matter what they represent. I hope people don't think we don't do this on the regular.

PeteWa

the French Foreign Legion was a unit in the French army that allowed foreign nationals to serve, but under a French commander.

The Iraqi people need to know about their corrupt officials as well.

HA! A LOT of people at Blackwater ought to be in prison. Ongoing criminal enterprise, ain't it?

That "someone" who should be in the big house is one Eric Prince, head of Blackwater. He is a far right wing Christian nutjob whose mother BTW spent a lot of money subsidizing the Yes on 8 campaign in California last year. Blackwater/Xe is basically a Fundie Christian Army that is being assembled within our borders. Between that and "The Family" it is friggin' scary in this country for the people who believe in church/state separation.

(That's a copy of the complaint in ZIP-ed PDF form)
Also, has anyone noted that Obama *personally* continued little George's WMD State of Emergency another year, even thought there were never any WMDs:
