If Buffet's a socialist, then monkeys are flying out of my @ss. But he's a very smart man. Obama could do worse than ask Buffett, Paul Krugman, Nouriel Roubini, and a few others for economic advice, as opposed to the group he seems to be relying upon now.

Perhaps Obama & the Dems will think twice before ruining the next stimulus by pandering again to "centrists" & removing crucial aid to states & localities. And let's stop with the idiotic tax cuts!
Push it past the GOP, they won't support ANYTHING. They want this country to fail.

Less than 10% of Stim. money has been dispersed because many GOP Governors are trying to use the money to balance their budget instead. Also too, some don't want to use the Stim. money that was earmarked for extension of unemployment benefits because, well, they are against the big gov. welfare state.

I have to admit, this argument kind of make the point for the Republicans. Their point on pretty much every issue is that "you can trust government to get it right." Can anyone tell me something the Obama administration has done thus far where they "got it right?" DOMA, Don't ask Don't tell, needle exchange, Rick Warren, Geithner, bank bailouts and bonuses, stimulous, etc., etc., etc. Look, I am in no way saying the got it right - in fact they handed the bag three quarters empty to Obama. But.....it seems they have a point, government can't get it right on anything.
