Yeah, but they vote. That's why we have so many idiot crooks in office now. Too many didn't bother voting.

Perhaps, impeachment will give him the "out" he needs. All his life, this man has had others cleaning up his messes and it wouldn't surprise me if he attacked Iran this fall, and then, walks away from it again, leaving it for someone else to clean up his mess. This poor excuse for a man needs to be brought to trial. For once in his life he needs to be responsible for his actions.

    OT (sort of)

Washington State Gubernatorial candidate does not want to be known as a Republican.....

"On Monday on FOX News Dino Rossi was caught trying to trick Washington's voters. You may have heard that Rossi and 27 other Republican candidates in our state will not allow the word "Republican" to appear next to their name on the ballot.
Thanks to the new Top Two primary, candidates can choose what party label they want on the ballot in November. As we reported on June 11th, Dino Rossi will have "Prefers G.O.P. party" next to his name, which is clearly a scheme to avoid having the word "Republican" next to his name.
Or as one of their candidates admits in this newscast:
"There's 30 percent of the people in this state that would not vote for a Republican no matter what, and we want to get around that...""

I imagine the figure is higher than 30%........

And what idiot is not going to know Republican = GOP. That's repubs for ya, always trying to appeal to idiots.

Well, now I TOALLY understand why so many Democrats are caving in on immunity for the telcoms on the FISA bill.

    Oh, wait...NO I DON'T!!!

When January rolls around, how sad it will be that the only people who seemed able to speak truth to power on the overwhelming assiness of the Bush Administration will have been Stephen Colbert - and even HE had to mask it as satirical adulation - and Ketih Olbermann, on a network Bush wouldn't watch if the remote was broken and it was the only network on.

He's already confused. And it won't get better, at his age.

    That's still 22.95% too high.

Come down here to Texas....you will find his numbers are much higher. There are still many SUVs running around DFW metro with "W" stickers on their back windows. If only Texas would just secede so they cannot carry any electoral votes.

how the hell is that high?

Here's a message to those who voted for FISA, specifically the Democrats, DLC, enablers (Reid), sellouts (Hoyer , LIEBERMAN), war profiteer tramps (Feinstein, Harmon) political skanks (Pelosi) and possible let downs (Obama):

What part of 23% do you not understand? If bush is 23%, what part do you not understand that you are LOWER and it is your votes like the FISA bill that will kick you out of DC?

    HA!
    How low can you go?
    *snark*

Bush approval at new low, 23%

An Idea low would be 'six feet under' but on life support, I'm against capital punishment.

"Bush is very popular. We need to give him whatever he wants"-Steny Hoyer
  • Steve_in_CNJ · 1 year ago
Dems vote with Republicans for 3 reasons: 1) they are afraid of Bush, 2) they are afraid of their constituents or 3) they are afraid of the corporations that fund their campaigns. The first 2 excuses are now ruled out by Bush's unpopularity and some recent special House elections. So let's stop saying Hoyer et al. are afraid of Bush. We know exactly who is pulling their strings.

Clearly, 23% of the population is mentally defective.
