John McCain Fest at CNN.... I look at him and think.."God, He's as old as McCain. And up there in Wyoming, thin air, bad heart, 'Damn', he could kick right there on live TV."

What a Negative for Old Fart McCain.

In a just world, Bush and Cheney would be detained, held for questioning and charged with War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity before they have a chance at being evacuated from Washington on January 20th as they attempt to avoid being brought to justice.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Bush may be in hiding but it is not stopping him from pushing through changes in laws that will affect each and every one of us for a very long time. I read somewhere that he is pushing for lower EPA standards (among other things) which will affect our air and water. When I read that article (can't remember where) I was seeing red.

Bush not content with the destruction of the Constitution is making a big push to destroy our environment. If there is a hell I am sure that George W. Bush has a reservation.
  • PhilipGraham · 1 year ago
    Yeah, where IS Bush?

I've imagined that they have him locked in the oval office, playing miniature golf while under heavy medication . . .
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
If only that were all he is doing, unfortunately he has devised new ways to spit on Americans
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Here is but one article concerning the Bush changes, most all to favor big business, before he leaves office. Read it and weep for our country, for yourself and for your children for generations to come.

And since the "undisclosed location" has been mentioned, won't it be fun to watch Joe Biden give us all a televised tour of the vice-presidential bunker Cheney built for himself?
  • Ben Dover · 1 year ago
The Reich Bunker! I had forgotten about that. The Parks Service should open it up for tours so that others can see neo-con paranoia all up close and personal.
  • nicho · 1 year ago
Don't think that isn't being "sanitized" as we speak. By January 20, when Biden finally gets to see it, it will be a chapel and a private gym.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Because Bush's sidekick is running for president.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Bush will spend his time until Election Day on the sidelines.

    Once a cheerleader...er, and uh...never be a cheerleader again!?!?!

I was just gonna say, SteamingPile, I just saw Vader on the stump.

Could you imagine being so hard up that you'd invite Dick Cheney to your campaign event?

I'm surprised Darth wasn't there, too. And the Romulans. And the Daleks and Cybermen, too.

    Oh, and Cylons.

The Republicans need to use Bush in some way... Whether going to very Conservative states to get the vote out, or interviews with right wing media. Whether he has 25% approval ratings or not, he is still the President... he could do some Senate or Congressional races as well.

I always thought what screwed the 2000 election for Gore was that he didn't use Clinton for states like Arkansas, Tennessee and West Virginia... The Republicans need all the help they can muster, whether the help is mediocre or not...

Much like use someone who has lower approval ratings than Bush: Cheney...

These guys should campaign for their lives, because they are much closer to being indicted as war criminals than they think, and they are not going to be travelling much outside the US, unless cleared beforehand.

I can't decide if the vanished living meat of shunned Dubya's once glorified person leaves the stench of his haunted miasma unchanged...
Gut laugh in a bit of WP evidence sub headlined "...Good Man Who Has Gotten a Bad Rap":

...Said Kevin Sullivan, Bush's communications director. "There's been no time to worry about any of this other stuff. . . . He believes the American people expect us to finish strong and to leave things in the best possible position for his successor."
  • woodroad34 · 1 year ago
Would that strong and best possible position be the mess in Iraq that the first Ignoramus said would be up to the next president to clean up? Kevin Sullivan does his Irish heritage a disservice.
  • Soaplady57 · 1 year ago
As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't care if he stayed away for the rest of his presidency...he and his sidekick, Cheney!! I'm sure I am not alone in my feelings for "Mr. Wonderful."

I don't want to see Bush until the moving van pulls up in front of the White House.
Someone had better count the silver.
  • woodroad34 · 1 year ago
"I don't want to see Bush until the moving van pulls up in front of the White House"...and frog-marched to a shack in Paraguay which will then be nationalized by that government and he'll become a state prisoner.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
    Moving vans????
Can't we just pile their stuff up out on the sidewalk??
  • anarchy · 1 year ago
you can run, mister WORST PRESIDENT EVER,
    but you cannot hide.

I hope and pray that a Nuremburg-style trial awaits
you and the rest of your criminal administration!!

    GOLF COURSE BLOGGING

Lay out giant signs that say "Worst President Ever" for George to see on his final flight to Andrews Air Force Base.
  • woodroad34 · 1 year ago
Actually he's been hiding behind everyone and everything since he was elected. The moment he actually comes out (ooops, Freudian slip?) he says some of the most inane un-scripted things and the neo's drag him back in. He's the original Bubble Boy.

BUSH HAS LOTS OF EXPERIENCE BEING A.W.O.L.

"Yesterday in Washington, the Secret Service arrested a man
who climbed over the White House fence. The Secret Service
told the man, 'Get back here, Mr. President, you have two
    more months.'" -Conan O'Brien
  • lemonyellow · 1 year ago
Sure, he's hiding and smiling behind the scenes while he makes a huge end end-of-presidency push to dismantle even more regulations while no one is paying attention.

Everyone - take a look at this link on Rachael Maddow last night with bush signing more bills on deregulation. If you pan in at 2:15 minutes, you will see the desk bush is sitting at, look for the sign right in front of him. At first glace I thought it was a mccain-palin sign, then I looked closer and saw that it was the same design, font, and color as the mccain-palin sign but with different words...

    Very odd I thought....

bush and mccain use the same printers, I wonder what else they share?? ;)

I think he's been in hiding for the last 8 years! He is the least visible president I can remember in my life.
Probably because everytime he makes an appearance he says something crazy.
What is he up to while in hiding?
