likely?

Freedom and democracy were just the bullshit Bush sold the idiot Americans as the means to allow them to (willfully) feel good about attacking a country who had not attacked us and posed absolutely no threat. Only coWards fell for this line of bullshit, but unfortunately way too many Americans are coWards at heart.
Also, why in the world would George 'kidnap - torture - kill' Bush give a shit about other countries human rights abuses? He would rather chuckle and sneer and pull the plug himself.

millions of ordinary people will have to do an end run around bush to help Tibet, just like we're doing with climate change.
Of course, giving to Tibet can be construed as supporting terrorism.

Notice loud-mouth Billary tried to steal the spotlight by calling for Bush to boycott the opening ceremonies. Yet do you think for one second Hillary would follow through on her word? Just like Slick Willie, she has a history of lying about anything and everything.

Yet another sick sick story of our times...From Crooks and Liars
The Capital-Journal:
Walking up and down the sidewalk near the Colmery-O’Neil VA Medical Center, Tim Sanders looks like a model for the “Army Strong” ad campaign.
Except, that is, for the placard he is holding high proclaiming, “Vets are losing their benefits.” […]
After tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, he is considered 50 percent disabled by the Department of Veterans Affairs. He suffers physical, emotional and now bureaucratic problems. […]
Now 32, he is entitled to care at the VA medical center and normally receives a VA check for $730 each month. This month his check was reduced to $196. He can’t pay his rent or other bills. […]
“I believe our government is being a tyrant. I’m proud of my country. I’m not proud of my government,” he said. …(read on) http://www.crooksandliars.com/

8 dead, more than 50 injured in Mosque bombing in Iran. Now, who would do such a thing? Who would want to provoke radical elements in Iran to lash out and start something?

Our little neo-cons have been awfully busy. Once they attack Iran, they declare Martial Law and stop the elections and guess what new homeland security measure they are trying to ram past our quivering Dems? And we thought there was really an election coming.... http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/4/12/105914/...

If only China was a small country that had oil, then Bush would be at the front of the line to pick a fight.
With all due respect, I think that should be corrected in favor of "if Tibet were a country that had oil". In all honesty, given the size of both China's population and their military, I'm rather inclined to doubt that Bush would be so gung-ho to invade China even if they *did* have oil provided that all other factors remained equal. I'm convinced that one of the reasons why we went into Iraq in the first place is because Bush and everyone else among his cabal of neconservative PNAC cronies was so drunk on their own hubris that they refused to give any credence to the potential for resistance. It explains at least a couple of things, such as why they went against the recommendation of General Shinseki who thought that they should put more troops on the ground *and* why they originally claimed that the conflict in Iraq would probably be completed within a matter of weeks. However, once it became clear that there *was* resistance and that there *weren't* enough troops on the ground and that it *wouldn't* be over in a few weeks, their pride wouldn't allow them to admit that they had miscalculated -- so here we still are, over five years later, with no clear end in sight.
