Bush disapproval even surpassed that of Nixon at the time he resigned.
  • Milli · 1 year ago
Yes, but he's the BEST failure we've ever had. It takes hard work to get that far.

    OT:......Some good news !!!

the Obama campaign rolls out another former DNC chairman's endorsement on Friday: Paul Kirk, a superdelegate who led the party from 1985-1989, is coming out for Obama -- a day after Andrew's switch, an Obama campaign official tells The Note. (And don't count on that being it for the day, as the dribble continues.)

Bush and Cheney proudly wear their poor ratings as a badge of honor. Like feudal lords, they feel they are doing gods work by beating back the starving, unwashed masses.
  • gonzalez · 1 year ago
But they wear their flag pins every day. This makes them great with 28% of Americans! Unbelieveable!

    Sorry, Grandma.

Didn't see your post on the same subject 'til it was too late.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
The Democrats still haven't done a good enough job of tying Bush to the Repubs yet, but I hope that will come.

Not just this year, I mean, but for a decade at least.

That's about how long the Repubs ran against "the Carter years."

"The Failed Presidency of George Bush" is a good phrase to start using.
  • Rab · 1 year ago
All told but not told: How many of that 71% voted for that piece of sh...t? Sorry sheep, too little, too late.

The tragedy of Bush's presidency for America is what he and his co horts have gotten away with.....they should have been impeached......

I really would like to see polling data on the 28% that still say Bush is doing a good job. Who are these people? Which subject do they feel like Bush has excelled in? What occupation do these people have? What education level do these people have? Do most of these people only get their news and world information from Fox News or Rush L.?

don't you usually get fired for being this bad at your job?

    Why even bother saying 'Modern'?
  • Jim Olson · 1 year ago
There were 19th c. Presidents who were actually worse than Bush.
  • jimfromthefoothills · 1 year ago
That is like saying the person running the local KwikEMart is a worse manager than the guy who ran Enron. But, you were a contrarian so good on you mate!
  • Anarchnid · 1 year ago
Not that I don't disagree, but.... [and I am not an historian], but I am pretty sure those folk in 19c didn't have the ability to allow/encourage large environmentally damaging corporations to continue to destroy our planet. Dubya's global impact is far greater imo.
Whatever... I think we all agree (except for that 28%) that he SUCKs.

Bush worst president in American history, ever.
  • Dewain · 1 year ago
Why don't we see this reported on tv news?
  • Mischa G · 1 year ago
Not surprising at all considering he's made the economy so bad that people are willing to sell their family heirlooms for $6 to put gas in the tank. This stuff is just scary:

This would be funny if I wasn't absolutely positive that Bush (if he hears about it at all) just takes this as absolute proof that "history will judge him" as being right.

    Funny how deranged minds work.
