AMERICAblog: Bush snubbed at G-20 summit

  • SouthernYankee · 1 year ago
Wow the picture says it all. What a loser. He deserves what he gets. I feel bad for america. On the other hand people voted for him. I can say I never voted for him ever.

    Even Merkel !

    LMAO !!!!!
  • BerkeleyMom · 1 year ago
Maybe Bush didn't want to shake hands because he forgot his Purell hand sanitizer!

I'd say he was snubbed big time. The leaders didn't even look at him. Buh bye Mr. Bush.
  • Older_Wiser · 1 year ago
Who wouldn't snub the person whose policies very nearly have brought down the world? Of course, I would want some answers, but he's not giving anything up.
  • Bubbles · 1 year ago
Uhm, I think the jury is still out on that.

Bush put trillions of dollars on the supply side, even after the stock market bubble was telling us that there was too much over there already. The global economy doesn't get better unless those trillions are put back. I'm talking about around five trillion maybe more. Any stimulus less than a trillion is simply not serious.

I don't think the stimulous will be on that kind of scale. So I predict, we are headed into a global economic melt down that makes the Great Depression look like paradise.

  • PeteWa · 1 year ago
that's what I thought as well.

I am still mystified that anyone ever fell for this shithead.
How can people be so blind, it has always been so obvious that Bush is a failure.
  • martha · 1 year ago
Sad, sad, tragic that the US would have ever elected this idiot. That video says it all.
  • martha · 1 year ago
Sorry, I meant to say appointed this guy. He wasn't elected.
  • Nick_the_Dog · 1 year ago
They should have treated him like this at least 5 years ago. Politicians all suck!

I'm pissy today and may bite someone! LIE ber man does it to me!
  • eclecticbrotha · 1 year ago
That image will look even worse if you imagine Barack Obama walking into the G-20 summit as a surprise participant. Remember, the world leaders were actually asking if he'd attend - and he had only been elected a few days before...

I wonder if it was in retaliation to Bush snubbing Australia's PM the night before?

Sydney - Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd received a frosty welcome from US President George W Bush when he arrived for the White House dinner that opened the Group of 20 (G20) summit in Washington, news reports said Saturday.

While other leaders of the world's top 20 developed and emerging economies received smiles and backslaps, Rudd earned a perfunctory handshake and a stony glare, Australia's AAP news agency reported.

Rudd raised Bush's ire by telling dinner guests after taking a call from Bush on October 20 that the leader of the free world had asked him, 'What's the G20?'

A dinner guest at the prime minister's Sydney residence leaked the slur to the press. It was published locally and then taken up by US newspapers.

The repubs are trying to drag us all down with them. Dems should refuse to hold sessions unless absolutely needed.
  • zavlin · 1 year ago
Wow stunning, it seems like the leaders mustv agreed to doing this beforehand? Which makes it even worse for bush.
  • Fireblazes(cheetohsandcatfood) · 1 year ago

(self-posting computer)Bush's appointment, they became the a@@-kissing nightmare Faux News is. They could not have been nicer to him, while he was breaking every law, firing whistle-blowers reporting on it, violating the Constitution, destroying the economy....anything and everything that could help his buddies or hurt average people. CNN was the cheerleader. When Lou Dobbs is the strongest voice speaking out on the "liberal" network....sad sad sad.

    feel sorry for the shrub??

you gotta be effing kidding me, RIGHT?

he'll look good to me when on trial at the Hague for his war crimes.
  • Andrew · 1 year ago
You have to just love the MSM. At least the stuff they don't report. why the snub? Because Buish was the last holdout in the world to sign off on the Basil II accord calling for a new banking system world wide. The first hint came from Sarkozy after the emergency meeting at camp David a few weeks ago. Sarkozy read Bush the riot act on behalf of the world. Either comply or your markets will be destroyed. The chimp got the message, but the damage has already been done.
The bottom line to all of this also got missed by most and the MSM haven't spoken about it. Trial baloons have been sent up for the last three months. Now china has become more vocal. They are going to convert a significant part of their US dollar holdings into gold and I have been saying this here for over a year now. The wolrd is going to revert to the goldstandard. Real assetts backing every currency around the world with all countries devaluing their currencies by at least 20%. It's coming just as sure as the sun os going to rise tomorrow. No wonder it's nearly impossible to find any physical gold and silver and the US mint has stopped making silver an gold eagles for purchase saying that demand has outstripped supply.
If things weren't bad enough, I was just watching the 10pm news and the governors of NY, CT and NJ are asking for 48 million in emergency Federal funds so that those losing their jobs at their financial firms on Wall Street can receive a one time $12,500 cash paymnet on top of unemployment insurance. Maybe I should have kept my Wall Street job waiting for this day to come. Just amazing that these people have the balls to ask for this. Let them live on their previous years bonuses. Welcome to bizarro world.

Why should anyone feel sorry for a bumbling, ignorant, honest-to-God criminal? Lil Shrub's gittin' all he deserves now. When he's in the Hague, we'll get all WE deserve.

Off topic (sort of), I have a question:

Does anyone else think Bush is railing the cocaine again?
Has anyone seen his last few speaking appearances? He's doing the full-blown jaw-twitch thing again, and looks spaced out of his gord.

Go try to find video of the Medal Of Freedom ceremony (or something similar, not sure exactly what is was) from a few days ago. Watch it and tell me that isn't a person who just did a load of cocaine - watch the jaw.
  • Eyeball_Kid · 1 year ago
He's lucky that he didn't get pummeled by the whole lot of them.
  • CPL · 1 year ago
They know he's leaving office and anything he offers up is IRRELEVANT, so there's no reason to pay attention to his dumb ass.

Watch how much respect and deference Obama gets at the summit next year.
  • Pennship17 · 1 year ago
Bush earned this treatment big time. In so many ways, he has been screwing the world for 8 years. A couple of thigs that most people do not know, since in the USA, we get crappy news anyhow.
    1. Bush issued in 2005 a ban against the President of Spain, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero) for pulling out of Iraq, even though Spanish troops still remain fighting and taking casualties in Afghanistan.
    2. When the G20 meeting was first being put together, Bush tried unsuccessfully to ban President Zapatero from attending, even though Spain is the 10th economic power in the world.
and more that I have no time nor patience to write.
I join others though in lamenting why the world leaders did not do this four years ago.
next wish: Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rice etc to the International Crime Tribunal in the Hague.

    Cross your finguers!

What the hell has gone on behind the scenes there?
  • Emily68 · 1 year ago
Obama said Bush used hand sanitizer after he shook hands with him. Maybe he'd run out of sanitizer and he told everybody he wouldn't shake any hands. Sure, that's it. But then I'd have to explain the lack of eye contact.
  • anarchy · 1 year ago
the Obamas will need a truckload of Carpet Fresh
and Frebreeze to get that Boosh stink out of their
    new house..

I'll sent them a package of each as a show of goodwill.

no eye contact - the shrub was probably shitting
himself that he'd get smacked and end up in a
glass cage (ala Adolf Eichmann) on trial at the
Hague - which is, of course what would happen
    in a just world.
  • vkobaya · 1 year ago
Not to mention, Black Flag, Raid and Decon. Actually, if I were Obama, I wouldn't move in, order it burned to the ground and rebuilt. Who knows what filthy diseases aren't contaminating that house, to say nothing of Bush's malice that he might leave it contaminated with bioweapons. like smallpox, anthrax, ebola, plague, etc. Bush is a major criminal, Asso-in-Chief and I wouldn't put anything past him. Too trust him at all, would be a very serious mistake.

Let's also hope there are some plans to make sure he doesn't push the red button as his final fratboy-punk revenge on the nation and world. Obama is supposedly powerless until January 20th and that is a very serious flaw in our government given that Bush is probably also massively crimnally insane.

That's about all that he is capable of writing, if that much. Mostly pictures since I doubt he has finished reading "My Pet Goat" yet.
  • Milli · 1 year ago
He's probably saving My Pet Goat until after he leaves office. That way he can give it his full attention.
  • vkobaya · 1 year ago
Sheeze! Marvel Comics is far too good. Maybe something like Disney Golden Books or Archie Comics, something much less than Marvel. DC Comics would also be too much of a credit for what he is. And, as far as ghost writer, hope no one will do it for him except for a 3rd grade kid. If he can't get a ghost writer, the memoirs won't get written since he is himself illiterate.

Don't forget the malice and vileness when he met with mothers of soldiers that were killed, his smirking and then giving them gold Bush dollars essentially saying it was worth more than the lives of their loved ones. If there was anything more despicable that he did, I can't imagine it. If they ever get around to executing him, Cindy Sheehan has earned the right of having the pleasure of pulling the lever though I understand there was one family that lost three brothers. I hate that evil, smirking, sneering man.
  • Bubbles · 1 year ago
I am truly shocked. They didn't even give him the minimum level of politeness. Simply unbelievable.

The contempt must be overwhelming. Either that, or he's a germophobe (which I think he is, is which I believe is something that happens to heavy substance abusers late in life).
  • Poor Guy · 1 year ago
I know I have zero respect for the shaved monkey. Nice t see other people feel the same way. Someone should have spit in his face and pushed his worthless monkey ass off the stage. Now that would make a video I'd watch over an over again!
  • vkobaya · 1 year ago
Either that, or he's a germophobe

Oh yeah, the filthy diseased disgusting germ thinks others are too dirty for him to touch. Yeah, if figures.
  • Kiwi Jackson · 1 year ago
Seems simple enough- nobody on that stage has reason to act as if they like him or his policies anymore, so why pretend? Seems to be mutual, too.

    Invisible Bush, Shunned Bush.
And a portrait of G20-ites awaiting President Obama.
  • wmforr · 1 year ago
This video is only a taste of what I wish that evil buffoon for the rest of his life. Legacy any one? How about the Guinness Book listing for The Man On the Most Worst Lists in History?

I remember when Nixon bought a town house in NYC and never moved in, because there were protesters out in front every damn day. If only Texas would extradite Bush to Connecticut!

Interesting video, but I'm not sure that googling someone is really useful as evidence.
  • right wing professor · 1 year ago
You people are all idiots, this video has long been debunked. The reason Bush isn't chumming with them all is because he is the leader of the host nation, and this is the protocol for the closing ceremonies. They were backslapping and shaking hands with him all the rest of the summit. Typical crazy liberals seeing what they want to see without bothering to study the situation. If you just watch you see he isn't even trying to shake their hands, they are definitely not "snubbing" him.
