AMERICAblog: Bush throws GOP Senators under the bus on the bi-partisan housing bill

  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
But that's what Bush does. Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly. Bush gotta fuck you over, deny it, then walk away from it. Too bad it took tools like McConnell 7 long years to figure it out.

I think it'd be easier to understand the White House if Bush and Company would swagger in sleeveless t-shirts and baggy pants with underwear labels on display.

There's not much forethought or organization going on over at the White House these days. Shooting from the lip seems to be official policy with no follow-up, no accountability, and no coherent progam other than thuggish trash-talking.

It's as if a pod of off-planet critters have infested the White House.

Wait.. Bush DOESN'T want to bail out an industry?

    .....I think I just hallucinated.

They only want to spend money bombing Muslims
  • Grimmlok · 1 year ago
Well whynot.. he's all for bailing out airlines, giving oil companies corpiorate welfare, bailing out wall street, and the ratio of executives to homeowners affected by HIS 'hands off industry self regulation' stupidity is something like 1:10,... that's a hell of a lot of votes

Not that anybody with 2 neurons together should be voting republican anyway, after 7 years of complete clusterfuck... but the Republicans generally get the 2 neurons or less crowd anyway and lets face it: stupid people breed more often.

It's time the Mitch McConnells in the Senate felt that boot in the ass. Be glad to see more such stuff. It will assure a huge majority in the Senate next year.

Republicans, welcome to the pile, the pile of bodies Bush has left in his wake. Refreshments are over there and in about 10 minutes expect another knife wound in the back...

    Have a nice day.

    Hillary's slick willies

Does Hillary surround herself with girly men? Obama and the experience question. Plus: Lincoln, Madonna's new face and a Bush with real authority.

    Camille Paglia

April 9, 2008 | I would like to get your feedback on the subject of those who end up in Hillary's orbit. Can you conceive of a strong, leader-type male ever working under her? An alpha, if you will. And if the answer is no, then why do you think that is?

The men you always see under her are to a person passive-aggressive, sadistic, mean, little, petty beta-male pieces of work who would not naturally succeed in a common male-type hierarchy. By that I mean an environment that values straightforward achievement rather than the darker political arts.

The Chimperor is going to dissolve the Imperial Senate and declare martial law soon anyway. So he doesn't care if he sandbags the Repuke Senators who carried water for him the last 7 years.

Get ready for Imperial Stormtroopers coming soon to a neighborhood near you.

But we had to bail out Wall Street. Homeowners don't count.

They gave Bear Stearns $30 billion, they gave airlines billions after 9/11. Didn't I just read that the bailout for the mortgage companies might be illegal now? My tax money going to help fatcats but they cannot help the common American. And people voted for this fool twice, yeah you got fooled twice, ready for the 3rd time?

Although McConnell has been a surly dog of a man, I still hope that he was wearing a condom because who knows what kind of diseases Bush is passing along. And maybe we should take up a collection and buy him a large supply of K-Y jelly, not because he is the senator from KY, but because its gotta hurt a lot being screwed so hard and so often by Bush and Cheney. Maybe a little kindness will bring the surly dog around toward reasonableness.

Before he leaves office, Bush will screw all the pooches, Democrat, Republican, American (and Iraqi) man, woman and child. His vast military experience knows only one policy ... scorched earth! He and Cheney will do their best to make certain that whoever wins the presidency in November will spend the majority of their four (or eight) years cleaning the s**t off the floors, walls and ceiling of the ship of state.

It's so enjoyable, in the most Schadenfreude fashion, to watch how the GOP's loyalty to Bush Jr is a one-way street.

When did W ever put the GOP's political fortunes above his own?

    Never.

The GOP has stupidly, and irrationally, put loyalty to Bush Jr above that to their own constituents, and now the party's seeing just how well that's playing for their electoral fortunes.

The GOP suffered a vicious electoral massacre in 2006, look for an even worse political Little Big Horn come November, 2008.

    And it serves 'em right.

Wonder if Hill and Bill will bring the white house silverware and china back when she assumes the dicta, er...uh..., presidency?
  • Grimmlok · 1 year ago
what the hell does that have to do with the topic?
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Why would he want to bail out the housing industry? Homeless people don't vote...
