Someone should go over to rebuildtheparty.com, point this stuff out and say "Hey, wanna be a good party? Stop doing crap like this" instead of all the ignorant and bigoted responses they've been flooded with.

U.S. envoy tells Canadians: You'll miss George W. Bush
Wilkins suggested in an interview Thursday that Canadians will come to appreciate this president once he's gone.
He described Bush as a man who has kept North America safe, who has strongly supported the free trade that has enriched Canada, and who has responded to concerns over softwood lumber and border security.
Wilkins pointed to these accomplishments and predicted the president's crushing unpopularity in Canada will not last.
"Many Canadians might be surprised by this statement," Wilkins told The Canadian Press.
"But I would submit to you that Canadians are going to miss George Bush more than they think they are."
Recent polls have suggested Canadians were more than five times more likely to support the Democratic candidate, Obama, over his Republican opponent, John McCain.
Good bye, Mr Ambassador ...and BTW you won't be missed either you old windbag!

There's no telling HOW much crap the Bush admin. will pull between now and Jan. 20.
It mortifies me to think what they can, and probably will, do.
But I can't wait to see the many "this is what I saw in the Bush White House" books that will appear as soon as they leave.

I am very skeptical of Obama. Yet, when I think about it, he just has to be a massive change from Bush. I know he really doesn't plan to be a reformer, but really the change is simply this man is competent, intelligent, has good will and is a decent, civil, honorable human being. Just in science alone consider the massive changes that Obama will bring just by being himself, not opposing stem cell research, evolution, not being anti-science and anti-education, not having his departments altering documents to suit his political convenience instead of the scientific facts. And, the poor Department of Justice will have to be gone over from top to bottom, just about all new personnel, people who have valid degrees from real universities, and aren't hired to fit Bush's poltical agenda. I doubt even Obama realized the full meaning of "Change" when he chose it for his campaign slogan, but just by being himself, without even being a reformer, things will be massively, massively different. Of course, I would rather Obama is a liberal, progressive reformer, but much will be reformed just by Obama being in the Oval Office and actually having two brain cells to rub together.

Then again, Bush had opportunities to rub two brain cells together, usually when a bug crawled across his desk and he smashed it, he was rubbing the bug's brain cells together.

Why didn't he pull this BEFORE the elections, Republicans? OH, thats right... anything to lie about how Republicans champion the poor and disadvantaged to get them to vote against their self interest and then REALLY stick it to 'em, huh?

Whenever I see the words "bush" and "trims" in the same sentence, I almost never think of the economy, the poor, healthcare or Poppy & Bar's failure...

The Bush goal all along has been to leave a government so crippled that it can barely function. This is Ayn Rand's clearest imperative, to destroy any government that does not serve the immediate needs of the Czar's inner circle. It's anti-Bolshevik drivel come back to haunt us. The best solution is to publicize the reductions as they happen, make sure the people who made the reductions are known by name, expell them from public office and reverse the decrees after they are gone. It'd be sweet to arrest them and try them in court for treason and malfesance but our Canadian neighbors might suspect us of Stalinism. Can't have that.

'Ayn Rand:' WHY???
Am I in the minority in thinking that "Ayn Rand" / Alisa Rosenbaum is just simply completely nuts? Over time and life I have encountered very screwed up people, ill, barely functional, walking disasters, THEN I read some 'Ayn Rand' and I recognized her immediately. Less inspired and more dull than the nsufferable R.Buckminster Fuller, Barely better than L. Ron Hubbard - and that's about the lowest low - her closest contemporary analog would be the equally fucked up Aleister Crowley with 'Do what you will.'
She comes to America, reinvents her name and biography, gets a bit of an education and mediocre screenwriting experience, writes some books and attracts a coterie of drones and holds court, preaching the harmony of economic and moral Darwinism, dispensing permanent absolution for anything done in that cause. Self-satisfied, always right, cocooned in the silk exuded from her followers. Narcissistic. Sociopath.
It's ironic that this Jewish atheistic amoral Russian diva has been wedded in Republicanism with the Nazis-for-Jesus literalist apocalyptic "Christians." The commonality I suppose is the charismatic factor. Like all the McSheep need is some other sheep or manipulative goat to tell them the person they follow is supposedly wise. They all must have an inablity to tell the difference between random big words strung together and something that makes any sense. If they can read them or have ever read them. No child left behind means EVERY child left behind which means the mind of every grown child is left behind too, and then they herd together in big woolly flocks.
Thanks Bush. Thanks Alan "The Mortician" Greenspan.

That is so off-base, crediting Ann Rand for Bush's misdeeds. Bush has yet to finish My Pet Goat to say nothing of Run Spot Run. Read Ann Rand. Don't kid us. Then again, he has read, History of Salt, Albert Camus' Stranger and 60 other books in one summer. I've got a bridge I need to sell quickly and cheap. Ever heard of the Brooklyn Bridge?

Medicaid doesn't just serve "the poor." Try the middle-class elderly, if like most people who make it past 65, they end up in a nursing home. A nursing home depletes all your assets within a year, unless you are very rich. Then you're on Medicaid along with "those people."
In the last 18 months, Congress has imposed moratoriums on six other rules that would have cut Medicaid payments. But the administration says Congress did not block the rule issued on Friday.
Larry S. Gage, the president of the National Association of Public Hospitals, said, “We will urge Congress to extend the moratorium to this rule, and we will ask the Obama administration to withdraw it.” ________________________________________
This is Bush's lame attempt to force Obama to endorse Medicaid and then have FOX, Limbaugh etc... yell and scream from the rooftops about tax and spend and their usual mantra.

it's just rediculous that the Republican Party are continuing to increase healthcare payments for the poor. already 44 million are without healthcare and this problem is going to escalate at an alarming level if someone doesn't sort out what the Bush Administration is doing.

Do you mean BUll SHit as in the President does it to the poor. Wouldn't it be nice to see this guy get arrested for crimes against American / the world, get prosecuted, convicted and sent to jail without a get out of jail free card. Not even in my dreams.
hope obama can make some major changes to the American healthcare system, the system totally favours the upper and upper middle classes of America.

I totally disagree your idea of healthcare to the poor, if they want healthcare, why don't they just take a loan out, its easy as that, also don't get your information from moores documentaries, what makes you think the US federal government doesn't care about it's people, it's doing a good cause for the people with medicare and it's doing darn well in iraq.
